Remove pack rat nest and voila trans shifts fine. The reason for this post is that my daughter's experience was so pleasant because of the management's honesty and the positive interaction she had with everyone. Potentially the trans problem could've been sold as a clutch problem or cable problem. The A/C problem had been taken to the local stealership and they wanted $2500 to fix the problem. BLUF these guys will be our go-to guys from now on.

JT Auto took one look and basically said, "Yeah...no." Turns out we only needed the front brakes and rotors. Saving customers money instead of inventing repairs? That's a refreshing change. Now, they weren't perfect--and that's okay. The first hiccup was with our appointment. We were told to come in the next day at 10:30 a.m. because we planned to wait while the work was done. Somewhere along the way, the wrong day got written down. It was a little frustrating, but they got us back in the same day at 1:30 p.m., so it wasn't the end of the world. The second issue was the bill. I was quoted $380 cash for the front brakes/rotor (or $580 if we did front and rear). Since only the front needed to be done, I sent my husband to pick up the car. Somehow he ended up paying $540. One phone call later, they checked it, admitted the mistake, and immediately refunded the difference. Honestly, I think it was just that, a mistake. If they were trying to nickel-and-dime us, they could have simply agreed with the first shop and sold us rear brakes we didn't even need. Instead, they were honest about what actually needed to be fixed, and when a billing error happened, they made it right without any arguments. As a Consumer it's okay for a buissnesss to Error but a true moral factor of a business when brought to attention. We sure will be using them again. Thank JT Auto! Nobody's perfect, but honesty and standing behind your work go a long way. I'd definitely use JT Auto again.

They rip off the elderly…read more Tried to charge my mom $3000 for a new catalytic converter. $2400 for the part when a Honda ORM part is $800. Best part is I had her take it to Honda and there's nothing wrong with the cat. Of course there isn't. The car only has 35k miles on it. They wanted $5000 for emissions issues when if they were honest would tell her to call Honda for a Goodwill service ticket. Honda is covering the whole job at no cost. Shame on your shop for being predatory.

They are super accommodating with your schedule. If you choose to drop off your car, they have a shuttle service to drop you off and pick you up when your car is ready. I normally schedule to wait and get my oil changed. They're quick and efficient and get you going fast so I never mind the wait. They will also rotate your tires for you, if you want, with your oil change. And there's also been times where they'll do a quick maintenance check with my oil change when I tell them I'm going on a long distance trip! They honestly treat you like family. AVOID THIS ESTABLISHMENT. I have an older vehicle so I don't know if that predisposes me to predatory practices, but moments after I recieved a call that my vehicle was ready to be picked up, i got another call saying my battery (which had tested 'low' according to their free diagnostic and would cost me an additional $700+ for them to replace) was now dead and the car wouldn't start. No apology or explanation that the reason the car didn't start is because the technician had drained the battery by leaving the dome light on; I know this because it came on when they jump started it with me in the driver's seat. It was the kind of dome/map light that you have to click on intentionally. What is going on here? And why does a $260 12v prius starter battery cost over $700 to have installed at this place? Highway robbery and no remorse. I was able to install a new battery, purchased at an O'Reilly auto parts store near my house, in minutes. Never again!!!
