The package room reviewed any and all camera footage, let me know that ontrac did come by but via their footage never scanned in or delivered a package in my name. The worst service I've ever experienced from any business. Five days in a row my package been delayed at the distribution center 15 minutes from my house. I have sent 3 emails through the OnTrac website and it has been 3 days since the first email and no response. I called OnTrac directly and was told I would be called back that day. I was never called back. I called back a day later and asked if I could pick up my package. i was told the package was not "ready" and I was not allowed to pick it up. I had a package that was scheduled for delivery on Thu. 06 24 2021. It didn't arrive. I check the status and it showed being delayed and it would be delivered Fri, 06 25 2021. It didn't arrive. Checked the status and it showed being delayed again and it would be delivered Sat, 06 26 2021. I called the company I ordered it from and they couldn't provide a reason why it was delayed. They tried to make contact with OnTrac but they were closed till Mon, 06 28 2021. Well again it was not delivered Saturday and once again delayed now to Mon, 06 28 2021. I went online and made contact via message stating I was not happy with the day after day delays and it still not being delivered and gave them some very specific delivery instructions. Within 5 minutes of their customer service opening Mon, 06 28 2021 I was on the phone with them. I was told the package was out for delivery. I wanted to make sure the driver had my specific delivery instructions. They put me on hold while they made contact with what I assumed was the driver. They came back and confirmed delivery would be made by 6 PM and per my instructions. Guess what? No package. Once again, delayed and to be delivered Tue, 06 29 2021. By this point I am now really pissed off. Made direct contact again and asked where my package was as I was coming to get it. They couldn't tell me. They had to get back to me. I had to drive close to 50 miles around trip to get my package. Not happy with this unacceptable service and will definitely not recommend them to anyone. Ordering pet food through chewy. Ontrac was supposed to deliver the first package on 1/2 by "end of day". Never arrived. The replacement package was supposed to be delivered by 1/3 "end of day". Ontrac could not get in touch with the driver (9pm), had no excuses, and promised to follow up with us (never did). We were up to midnight anyway and the packages never came. Then all of a sudden Ontrac's "tracking" updates to state that BOTH packages were delivered on 1/3 at 945pm. No way that is true. FRAUD. Two packages arrived sat 5/2/20 for delivery 5/4/20. It is now 5/7/20 and ontrac has no idea what is happening. Every time i call i get "we have emailed the facility, we will call you when we get an update" but there is never a call back, and it is impossible to talk to the same person twice. Called again just now "we sent an email to the warehouse, they will find your packages and update the tracking info online with when it will be delivered" everyday at 6:05pm they update it with "package delayed, new scheduled delivery (the next days date)" this has happened for 4 straight days in a row now. Terrible customer service, terrible warehouse staff, terrible delivery drivers. This place is 25 miles from my house, it came from CA to AZ overnight only to sit in a warehouse for 6 days (4 business days so far) I will never buy from a place that uses On Trac ever again. When I received the notification, I notice the front door they left my package at was NOT mine. Unfortunately, Thrive Market has started using OnTrac to deliver to my current address, and it's only worked out one out of three times. (Interestingly, I've zero issues with other, non OnTrac deliveries making it to my home; never a missing package or phone call expressing difficulty finding the place.) First delivery: Made it to my door, on the day they said they delivered it. Second delivery: Said they delivered it, but didn't. This package never made it. Thrive sent a new package, OnTrac delivered it a full day after they marked it as "delivered" to my door. Third delivery: Never made it. I'be been the field supervisor for a gated community in North Scottsdale for the past 3 year. We strive to assist the delivery drivers reach the clients door step. However it seems that OnTrac hires drivers in unmarked vans to drive for them and they don't want to follow community rules of the HOA or even deliver packages to a location that their clients can access. For the past two days the same driver has come to our condominium community, has been rude, and does not want to listen to the directions security provides generously. Yesterday, the driver left the package inside the wrong lobby behind a locked door that the intended client could not ope. I had to retrieve the package and deliver it to it's owner after I was relieved from my post on my own time. Today the same driver showed up at my post and after attempting to ensure the driver would arrive at the correct destination by following our direction, he told me to "Shut up, he doesn't have to listen to me". He was denied access into the gated community and in no longer welcomed into our community again. Repeated attempts to contact OnTrac supervisors has left me no choice but to leave this review and recommend that their customers find a different provide. Recently lost a package addressed to me from Sephora. This shipment was sent to my business, a family owned and operated business (no mail room or big corporate office). Our new driver for OnTrac, apparently mis-delivered the package elsewhere and it was accepted and signed for by a stranger who opted to keep my property. Aside from the thieving recipient of my package, there was the issue that my delivery went to the wrong address in the first place. The sender, Sephora, is apologetic and reshipping my order, although it was not their fault; as it was addressed correctly. However, OnTrac who was at fault doesn't seem to care. The customer service responses have not been apologetic, or made any reference to contacting their new driver or any training/follow up on the error. I have requested that Sephora no longer sends my orders via OnTrac, and that they use a more trustworthy carrier for all my future orders. I will also do my best to avoid giving OnTrac any further business from my other personal and business ventures until they can assure me that they will care for my shipments in the same manner as other postal and parcel carriers do. My order arrived in Phoenix AZ on 7/13 and should've been delivered to my residence on 7/14. It's now 7/19 and still no package. I figured there would be a day delay because of the weather, but six days later is excessive. I finally reached out to OnTrac for a better explanation as where my package was and to my surprise, the package is lost. Had I not called, I would've continued to see the "In Transit" notification and wait for my package to arrive because it required a signature. On September 23, 2022, I was commuting to work in Phoenix and had my car totaled by someone driving a van for this company. The driver tried to hit and run, but hit another car in the attempt. The driver was clearly being negligent, as traffic was at a standstill and the driver was going full speed, only trying to swerve at the last moment. As of today (Jan 26), I have been told at last that their insurance company will not be covering the damage because the driver of the van was not listed on the insurance policy. They can apparently hit you with impunity, so be careful if you see them on the road. read more

However, I can't let this slide by. I was home at the time the package was delivered but the delivery person did not even bother checking to see if I was home. Instead I heard a crashing sound outside my door and found my package had been tossed. What if the contents of my package were breakable? Regardless, I don't think anyone should throw someone's package. Not only did that happen but my box was in very poor condition as well -- as if someone had set heavy boxes on top of it. I have only had 2 encounters with OnTrac, and both were unpleasant. The first was several years ago, when they delivered someone else's package to my address and, when I informed them of the mistake, asked me to deliver it. Umm, no. The more recent was resolved today. I placed an order on 08/11/2021 with the expectation that it would arrive on 08/12/2021. Tracking indicated that the package arrived at OnTrac's local warehouse on 08/13/2021, but delivery was pushed out each day without explanation. I contacted the store from whom I'd ordered 4 times over 4 days, and they did everything they could to make it right, but the package still did not arrive. I contacted OnTrac on 08/20/2021, and they made a few unreasonable excuses and refused to let me pick up the package at their warehouse. On 08/23/2021, the package finally arrived, but not having use of the item I'd ordered, as well as having to cancel my plans for eleven days and wait for this package to arrive, was a very large inconvenience. I am extremely disappointed in the lack of professionalism and total apathy displayed by this organization. I would not choose to do business with them again. read more

Every single time I have ever had anything shipped to me from ontrac it has been a fiasco but the last time takes the cake. Shipment was promised yesterday by 8pm. at 9:30, it was marked back in Sacramento as a failed attempt. I had literally rearranged my life to sit at home and wait. I called and complained, was told a manager would be contacting me the next day. I never heard from anyone. The next day, it said that it was in Rackerby for delivery at 9 am. Rackerby is not that big. Even if the entirety of Rackerby had a package delivered through Ontrac it should not take more than 4 hours to deliver the entire town. I again called dispatch, after a second day of rearranging my life for this package. Dispatch put me on hold to page the driver. The dispatcher informed me that it was not delivered the night before because the driver was running late and so what wasn't delivered by quitting time went back to Sacramento. I was assured that it would be delivered by the end of the day. 2 more hours go by, still no package. Now worried that it was going to go back to Sacramento, I contact Amazon. I let them know what's up and beg them never to ship something to me through Ontrac again. They said that they would give me a 20% off voucher for my next purchase, and contact the shipper themselves. If I didn't get it by the end of the day, they'd refund my money. 1 hour later, this shady looking beater of a van with the Ontrac logo taped to the door pulls up my driveway. He was curt, bordering on rude, and made a snide under his breath comment about my package wasn't life or death. Seriously? a day late, shady and rude delivery drivers? I PRAY that I never get another thing delivered through Ontrac again. Ontime delivery to California? by what standard? I personally witnessed a driver tossing a 30lb box at my door and run to his truck to speed away. They are 90% of the time late and their tracking system shows item delivered and it's a lie. On trac lied about delivery. I'm in a industrial complex the tracking said customer refused delivery but at that time we were closed no human could refuse it since no humans were at location. Customer service said it was a verbal refusal. Either the driver went to the wrong place or lied because he didn't want to come back. Hey also said they called me after. 1. They never called 2. That contradicts what the driver said. Why driver call if he said I refused. I went to file a claim they said only the company I bought from can make a claim. Had an already crappy situation with a retailer's system screwing up my order, sure enough I should have expected it to just continue when they shipped it through OnTrac. It was sent overnight from California. Goes out for delivery on Wednesday is never delivered. I call on Thursday twice (because I never got the callback they promised). Was told they got in contact with the delivery driver's manager and that they don't have specifics but that it'll be delivered that day. The whole day goes and NOTHING.I call Friday morning and they say all they can do again is send a message to the facility manager. About 3 hours later what does my tracking all of the sudden say? That it was delivered and on the morning of 10/28/2020 when it was supposed to have been. Here is the problem THEY DIDN'T DELVER! I have a ring camera. The sensitivity is so high that cars driving at 40-50 yards away trigger it. There is NOTHING on video for that time that day. I call back and all the customer support agent tells me is "Oh well ya thats odd cause they didn't even respond to us before doing that. Well all I can do right now is send this back again to them" Ya for nothing to probably come from it. Either OnTrac lost it, or worse the driver stole it. All previous reviews are accurate. Well, mostly. Anything over a 1-star review should be taken with a grain of salt. OnTrac is absolutely terrible. I had never dealt with them before until Amazon used them on my most recent shipment. I Googled them and instantly got worried, but figured I'd give them the benefit of the doubt. I was wrong. The package arrived at their Phoenix facility, never left, and I was informed this morning that they still managed to lose it. I'm not even sure how that's possible. There's a decade's old thread on Amazon that still has activity today with nothing but complaints on this company. It truly is a shame that Amazon keeps them in business. If you live in the western half of the United States, I would strongly advise contacting Amazon before you order to make sure they don't use OnTrac for your delivery. I will say that Jennifer in their customer service department is the one upside to the company. She was very honest with me and kept me up to date. read more

My package was never delivered (even though I received a "delivery confirmation" on 12/22) while I was home which I was initially very understanding being that this occurred during Christmas week. I informed each representative I spoke with on multiple occasions that I have cameras on my property and that no initial delivery was ever attempted nor any redelivery attempt made. I received calls from two "shipping managers" with the same last name "Sofia & Eli Diaz" both stating the driver would reattempt delivery on both 12/23 & 12/28 which never happened. I spoke with several OnTrac representatives everyday in attempt to find a resolution and one in particular (a representative named Briana) was very nice and attempted to help stating she would escalate my issue to management and I would receive a call back within 24 hours. Upon following up today (after the 24 hours passed) I was connected to Jessica Duran "Special Accounts Representative" who was extremely rude and I'm shocked that she is in the position she's in with zero Customer Service skills. As mentioned, I have been calling everyday to get a resolution and of course at this point I'm now upset by how everything is being handled or lack there of and Jessica had no empathy of my situation and ultimately stated to call the local authorities if I felt my package was stolen. She also stated that I'm not OnTrac's customer, referred to me as a "third party", and that the original shipper (the vendor) was "their" customer. Completely ridiculous! Her lack of empathy and tone was absolutely unacceptable and only escalated my feelings of frustration and that I was being unheard. If OnTrac was assigned to deliver my package then I am absolutely a downstream customer as I'm counting on this company's services with my property that I've purchased. There was absolutely no accountability or remorse that my package was never delivered and this is completely unacceptable. At this point, I feel like I'm being taken advantage of as I was told to go back to the vendor to receive a credit for my original items purchased which they only offered a ONE-TIME store credit acceptance. So now someone gets away with receiving my previously purchased items and the driver / shipping managers could possibly be involved and I'm not only left to go back to square one but also have to start this process all over again?! How is this the solution?! The fact is that I no longer trust OnTrac after this experience. If OnTrac is the exclusive shipping carrier for this vendor in my area, how do I know this same issue won't occur again when I don't see any accountability on their end, which if this occurs a second time then I'm S.O.L.! This has been the worst experience I have ever had with any company and therefore I felt compelled to share my experience because clearly these types of issues are the norm and have not only diminished OnTrac's brand but also the trust that customers like myself are lacking. This is also clearly a pattern as most OnTrac reviews are extremely poor no matter what location is selected! There is even a forum on Reddit that I came across "r/OnTrac" with the group name "OnTrac is the Worse" and a nickname of "OffTrac". When I called to ask where the package was the rep said they'd track it and get back to me- didn't happen either, never called back. I would give this company ZERO stars. They have never delivered our fresh food on time. It was ALWAYS melted, even though it was packed in dry ice! When attempting to contact them, (several times) nobody answers the phone; nobody returns the call, even after leaving a message. They delivered to the wrong address the first time, and said it had been "delivered to our door" . It was 1/2 mile away from us and the neighbor didn't even realize anything had been left on their porch. This company is a major joke! DO NOT do business with them. I have never really had anything delivered from on trac and Walmart was dumb to use them. My tracking said loaded on a truck at 1025AM it is now going on 832PM and still no delivery. I have called twice and supposedly they cant speak with the driver to see where he is. To top it off i got another status update saying it was loaded on the truck. at 707PM. On trac is a horrible company. They lose packages and then deny it. We used them once and never again. First Red Flag- They have thousands of complaints all over the internet. Look it up. From the rude customer service reps to the denial of any wrong doing On Trac has a company culture of pure denial and failure. Their CEO should really look into what his customer service reps and drivers are really doing. If you complain they use the same scripted line of - "Our gps shows our driver was there delivering your package so there's nothing we can do." It's all lies.
