FedEx and ups are way better than this company they told me that I would get my package two days ago then yesterday it said it was loaded on the truck and I would get it by noon and it's the next day and it still hasn't arrived then said it would come today before they closed and hasn't showed up. Ordered a package through Zara with express shipping ( an extra $25 ) to get here within 2 days. Expected delivery was "supposedly" April 2nd, however, nothing was ever received or even updated on their website/tracking number. Today is now April 4th and I called their customer service line, only to be told they lost my package and I would need to call Zara to get a replacement. Immediately following my phone call with OnTrac I called Zara, and they said I would need a confirmation email from OnTrac proving they had lost the package. Now annoyed; I gave OnTrac a call and reached a new customer service representative who stated the delivery date was NOW APRIL 10th and they had no recollection of saying my package was lost.... Not sure how this company can stay afloat with lack of communication, organization or ability to stay truthful to those they service. read more

My Amazon order, was due to arrive yesterday. Tracking said it was delivered at 7:07 pm! I was home all evening,nothing was delivered. Contacted amazon who contacted Ontrac and they said it showed delivered but could arrive today! What??Makes no sense! Someone is lying! It's not me! I ordered clothes from fashion nova 3 times and the carrier was ontrac. The first time they said my package was delivered I went to go check and there was nothing there so I called and they said the package was lost and to contact fashion nova. The same thing happened the other 2 times. They opened an investigation and said that it was delivered to the right address which was a lie, because I was home both times and not once did I hear a knock on the door. I even went outside to see if I could see them but there was no sign of them. They told me they would call the driver and see if he could get the package back and they would call me back when they got more information, but they never did. I have called them multiple times and they all say sorry for the inconvenience. Ontrac is the worst delivery company I know of and they need to be shut down. read more

Will never use this company again, make sure you sign for your packages! My husband placed an order from Home Depot which used Ontrac as the delivery service. The night the order was supposed to be here my husband was literally standing at the front door waiting. At about 11 pm he gave up and went to bed, the tracking info still said out for delivery. The next morning there was still no package but the tracking info was updated at 12 ish to show that the package was delivered at 8:03 pm to my front door. So I called ontrac, she told me that at the time of delivery the drivers scanner wasn't working and wasn't able to update the delivery until 12, hmmm. They were opening an investigation and was supposed to send the driver back to the house the package was delivered to. I work from home and nobody came to my house so either they again went to the wrong address or the driver got an early xmas gift. In the meantime i called Home Depot and they told me that if ontrac couldn't locate the package I was basically screwed out of the $150. Ontrac called 2 days later and told me that they are closing the investigation because they couldn't locate the package and i would have to contact Home Depot again because it was ultimately Home Depot's responsibility to make sure I received my product. I contacted Home Depot again and they contacted ontrac and ontrac also told them that the Package had in fact been delivered to "my" address and that they even sent the driver back to my address to verify which was a total lie. Again, I am home all day and would have known if On Trac had shown up. So bottom line Home Depot said that I am screwed and I would have to dispute the charges with my bank. My first Experience with OnTrac via eBay. My package was on time and delivered to my front door.

This company is incompetent and uncaring to an amazing degree. I guess I'll put my 1 star review here with everybody else's. Ordered a next day item from Walmart for Wed. delivery. They go to deliver pkg and it's supposedly missing unit number. Don't call provided phone number, just take it back and try the next day(like the unit number will write itself on the label). The following day, another trip back to warehouse because there is no unit number, and note on tracking web page to call. I call within 45 min and they said it is resolved now will deliver next day. Nope, never left warehouse, they misplaced the new label, but said it's fixed. Now I must wait until Monday even though they deliver next day on Saturday. Protest and they say they will deliver Saturday. They also offered if I want to drive clear across Phoenix I could pick it up at their facility, isn't delivery what they get paid for? Sure I'll do that, if you pay me what you charged to not do your job. On Sat. I call and they say Monday, and said they see no notes to deliver Sat. (now I know this is standard operating procedure). On the Friday I looked on Walmart while talking to agent, if I ordered Fri. they promise next day delivery on Saturday. The damn pkg has been in town since Wed. and they can't get it here in less than 6 days for a next day pkg. They are very good at excuses and lies, but that's not their job. Should be called FUBAR delivery service. Nobody on their support line has the ability or desire to really help, it's an insincere apology line. I've used Golden State Overnight a lot and they have never dropped the ball, and their customer service can react, You might try them instead if you need a provider that you can rely on. read more

Amazon used this useless delivery service and they said they delivered my package even though we have security camera's and no delivery or driver was recorded on them for that day or time. No problem Amazon sent another one. Now we have been expecting a package for the last two days. Their site showed a delivery date but it never arrived. Now today it shows no delivery date and Ontrac is now claiming that they never recd the package from Newegg. Even though their website has showed shipped and tracking information up until yesterday. Terrible! It took over a month to get them to open my gate instead of throwing my packages over and breaking three of them. Then 3 times (and counting) they say they can't deliver package because they do not have the code to get in my gate. 3 times I tell them I Don't Have A Gate! I don't know if they are delivering to wrong address or are trying to cover up for not delivering on time. Next they need a signature and post a note on my gate instead of Knocking on my Door to get the signature. Terrible, terrible company, proven over and over again. Three separate packages delivered to the wrong address on the wrong street all 3 times. We had to go track down our own packages. Apparently drivers do not verify the address on the package matches the address of the house they are leaving the package at or even that it's the right street. Will never use OnTrac again if I can help it. Was told that GPS told driver where to go which obviously isn't too reliable and should not be depended on to give correct directions and should be verified. 3rd time on the day of delivery I even called OnTrac and asked the representative to contact the driver and let him know the correct street and to make sure they do not deliver to the wrong street and it still happened. read more

I ordered from Amazon and of course the one item that I needed they decided to send via OnTrac....so of course, it was NOT delivered on time! Worst delivery service I have ever received....multiple items received late....even days late. I am still waiting for this recent shipment....when you call the 800# for OnTrac they don't even know if it will be delivered tomorrow. Seriously, I could drive to Amazon and pick it up....round trip drive would be about an hour so why is this taking days. Don't use them if you can help it and if you are one of the unlucky Amazon customers who get their order via OnTrac and it is late be sure to call the 800# to complain. Unfortunately I can't choose the delivery company for some packages but OnTrac is the WORST delivery company EVER. Everything about them is horrible. How are these people in business?!? I have had 5 packages within the past few months missing. This issue is only with OnTrac. Their drivers are terrible. They DO NOT care to deliver to the correct address, especially living in an apartment complex. They will just drop off your package wherever. Either they leave it at the wrong apartment or they are stealing packages. At this point I believe they are thieves. How does one consistently not deliver a package?! They are LAZY and don't care to walk to the correct apartment. I actually found one of my packages sitting outside a door on another level at the complex. They were that lazy they couldn't make it up one more level. These people are so incompetent. This company and their service is horrible. I wish businesses would stop using them!! It does not pay off in the end to pay a cheaper company as their delivery provider because I'm constantly filing claims agains businesses for refunds. Businesses should invest in a better delivery company. This not only makes the delivery company look bad, but the business as well. A terrible carrier I've never seen before. Lost my package from Sephora TWICE and box damaged once. The first time I contacted Sephora and requested a reship cuz I was not too sure if there is possibility that someone took my package from the office mistakenly. But the second time I kept my eyes on the tracking info and I went to the office as soon as it showed delivered. However it was not there and I kept checking for a week but the package never showed up. All the packages sent by UPS, USPS, Amazon, Fedex never lost as long as they delivered to the locker or the office but it only happened to Ontrac. I contacted the customer service of Ontrac to try to get more info about the delivery but they only told me it was delivered (obviously I saw it online) and even didn't tell me anything about who signed for it or other useful info. When I ask if there is any other way I can try to find the package, they just told me to ask the shipper. It is the same order for the second time already haha. Should I ask for reship 100 times if I don't receive the package for 100 times? I will definitely avoid Ontrac in the future. read more

I receive a door tag on my door that was blank, nothing written on the door tag as to: Who the package was for, Where the package was from, What time the package was attempted to be delivered or When the next delivery attempt will be made. Vehicles appear to be very poorly maintained. Today at 9:40 a.m. in rush hour traffic I was behind one of their oversized vans on the 10 freeway in southern California - absolutely not one brake light worked on this van - not the left, not the right, not the top center. License plate: 7U58512. Not being able to see above or around this vehicle when traffic suddenly stopped - VERY dangerous. I quickly got in to another lane, but had I hit this vehicle I would be looking to OnTrac as to negligence in vehicle maintenance. Overall the van was very dingy looking - I certainly wouldn't want my company name on this vehicle. I tried calling to tell them but their phone tree is not user friendly at all and I sat on hold for several minutes, finally giving up. Suggest putting a fleet safety number on the vehicles for reporting these types of issues, but who knows, this could all be franchised. Either way, OnTrac should expect, if their name is on a vehicle, that it's creating an impression of their company but also liability for failure to maintain. read more

Two of my coworkers have had items shipped through OnTrac & they both had problems with their deliveries as well. Prior to my experience today, I used to LOVE On Trac. I regularly order from zulily which uses On Trac quite regularly. When an item is shipped to me, it usually takes 2-3 days. I was ecstatic about the fast shipping. But yesterday, a package that was supposed to be delivered 5-8-18, was not delivered. I check the tracking info which says the package was out for delivery, and subsequently delivered to my porch. The only problem was that it was NOT delivered AT ALL. I call On Trac on 5-9-18 & am told it was delivered 5-8-18. I call zulily, and they tell me the same thing. When I googled OnTrac, I found sites with reviews that said On Trac will say that it delivered something when it actuality they had not. That's a shame! A.J. at On Trac said he would try to send someone to my house to search for the package. Yeah, right! However, before retiring for bed, something told me to look on the porch for my package. And lo & behold, there it was. So why was there misleading information that it was delivered? It's terrible too lie about something you claim to have performed when it reality, you did not accomplish the task at all. I would like for On Trac to explain why this is a problem, not just with me, but with many others based on the reviews I read. My experience created a lot of stress & anxiety, which I don't need. The shenanigans played by employees of On Trac are ridiculous - and they need to STOP. read more

We have received a lot of packages from On Trac over a long period of time. Their service originally was one star at best but has really improved over the last few months. I actually believe they deserve 5 stars at this point but gave them 4 stars because of their past history. Our packages are now arriving on time and often ahead of time. They claim to have delivered a package to my front door but can't find the box. I was in my open garage the whole time waiting on them and he was never anywhere near my house. They either dropped it at the wrong house or the driver figured out it was a GoPro and stole it. They wouldn't send the driver back out to retrieve the package from the wrong location and deliver to my house is why I believe it was never delivered to any house. It took an hour for Amazon to get through to their customer service after I waited on hold for over an hour and never got to speak to a human. When I order from Amazon, I will demand they use someone other then OnTrac. read more

Never have I written a review before but this place was so special that I felt I had to. First my package said that it was out for delivery at 10:40am on Monday and it was being delivered to my work so closing time comes at 3pm and I figured it wasn't coming. I checked the tracking info later that night and it said it was returned to corporate at 7pm to be redelivered the next day. Now it's Tuesday, I figured I would call in the morning to let them know we closed at 3pm so we would need it delivered before then. Before I was ever even able to talk to anyone I was on hold for 20mins. Then when someone finally did answer the phone she said she sent a message to the driver that the package needs to be delivered before 3pm and to call me if he isn't going to make it on time. 2pm rolls around and still no package nor a call so I called them back. I waited yet another 20mins on hold before talking to anyone and they said the package missed the truck and will be going out for delivery the next day. She asked when we opened to make sure the package came early so I was expecting it bright and early today (Wednesday). Today comes and around 8am I figured I would call them early just to make sure they're bringing the package. I called and waited yet another 20mins on hold before anyone answered. When I asked him to make sure the package went out he said they had to go out and find it and that he would call me back once they locate it so I said ok and hung up. I waited an hour and a half and still hadn't heard back from them so I figured I'd call again and have them hold the package at the facility since it wasn't too far to pick up. I was on hold for yet another 20mins before anyone felt the need to answer the phone and she said she will have the package be held at the facility for pickup. She also said they hadn't found the package and once they did she would call me back to let me know it's ready to be picked up. That was at 10:00am. Now come 1:30pm and still no call about my package. I placed yet another call and waited yet another 20mins before speaking to anyone and they said my package is there at the facility on hold to be picked up (thanks for the returned phone call by the way). So I go to the facility to pick up the package and I give the lady my tracking number and she goes to the back. When she comes back she said they're looking for it. She's now helping a guy who came in after I did who didn't even call to have his packages on hold he just winged it and wanted them to look to see if they were back there. After awhile she comes back out with his 2 packages and when I asked she said they're still looking to find my 1. Finally they come out with my package but they ask to see my ID first. Now in most cases that would make sense but it's not my name on the package and I told them that but they said it was fine they still needed ID. What were they gonna compare it to is still beyond me. my ID had no relation to the package but no I still had to go back to my car to get it. I had to wait 20mins for them to find my package, a package that they claimed was already found and on hold for pickup. It was completely ridiculous. What have I learned from this? Before buying an item make sure it isn't being shipped through Ontrac because I'm done. read more

well an update to this situation, package arrived, 6 days after being marked as delivered. unfortunately the package wasnt delivered to my address, rather it was dropped off at my neighbors house. luckily my neighbor is an honest guy and brought me my package. by this time ive already received a partial refund and partial replacements for all my woodworking items that i ordered from amazon. so now ive had to return the replacement items along with the refund monies. what a fiasco. all in all amazon was great and ontrac pretty much sucked. read more

I am amazed that a company like Apple would use a sub-par delivery company like this one to deliver its products. My new iPad was scheduled to arrive while I was out of town. The first red flag was the lack of easily accessible contact information on the OnTrac website, and there was no way to reschedule online -- all easy transactions with UPS or FedEx. I could not get through by phone. My emails were not answered (at least not for a couple of days). I finally called Apple and had THEM arrange to have the package held rather than let OnTrac make a second or third delivery attempt while I was away. I finally got an OnTrac email acknowledging the hold-for-pickup request, but then I had to make several phone calls to find out where to go (OnTrac has several listed facilities, and none of the emails or tracking slips offered information on pickup locations or hours). Having made those arrangements, imagine my dismay to find a second delivery attempt door tag on Monday while I was at lunch. I called OnTrac and finally got through to a helpful employee who discovered that my package had never been taken off the truck after the first delivery attempt on Thursday. He apologized and filed a driver complaint, but that doesn't make up for the fact that my new iPad sat on a delivery truck in the summer heat of Phoenix from Thursday until sometime on Monday or Tuesday (today). I drove 30 minutes each way today to personally collect my package. I arrived at 10 am. Nobody was at the front desk; I was able to get in only because an employee was going out. I rang the bell - no response. Eventually someone passing through asked if I had been helped. She took my name (but not the tracking slips). About 10 minutes later, another employee happened by and took the tracking slips. All in all, I stood in the completely empty reception area for more than 30 minutes waiting to get the package before starting the 30-minute drive back home. I have already told Apple that I will be in touch if it appears that multiple days in a searingly hot truck damaged my brand-new device. The amount of time and frustration involved in such a simple transaction is completely unacceptable. This company does not appear to have the organization or the infrastructure to do the job, and in future I will do everything in my power to avoid having ANYTHING I buy shipped to me via OnTrac. read more
