This is the third time that this company has marked a package as delivered to my house when it has not. Terrible service/company.

Amazon contracted this company to save $ on shipment and that is why the service is so bad. If you work in the delivery service and deliver to the same address more than twice and still haven't resolve on how to get into the building to deliver the package to each resident, then I have no comment. At least make an attempt to contact the customer and let them know, service is so bad. Never pick up phone call. read more

Ontrac claimed that they delivered packages for 2 different shippers on the same day at the same time but there are no packages to be found. Both vendors are doing investigation but Ontrac is telling both shippers that they delivered the packages but there is no proof of delivery and no OnTrac delivery driver to be found on the video camera footage! #badservice read more

I order a pool pump from a company and they use on trac as carrier unfortunately my order never showed up , the tracking number shows that it was delivered to my house, but no one ring the door bell , we were all day home!!!! It was a large box like 31 pounds.... I had to order one more pump from a different company and they use ups after 2 days my box was home and the ups driver made us sign the delivery slip!!! So you guys need to learn from the big company how to deliver packaging!!! read more

I am very disappointed the way they deliver my package. They either left package outside the driveway instead of placing it in more secure area. They sometimes just throw package over the gate which was caught in my security camera couple of times. I am very disappointed on Amazon using this delivery company and i am disappointed on Amazon because of this too. I would give a negative star if I could. read more

Where do these packages go? I don't trust this company anymore - nor do I trust they will get my package to me. I ordered something Amazon Prime and was supposed to be here 2 days ago. It said "out for delivery". Then I called Ontrac - and what was weird and sketchy was the gal put me on hold and came back and said "it was delivered and signed by OK TO LEAVE" HMMM did you just update that in the system?? Now I cannot go back to Amazon to resolve and get reshipped. I would stop ordering from Amazon if they use Ontrac I will tell you that. I will buy more from Walmart.com or someone else who guarantees they wont use Ontrac. Now they will open a case, try to find the package.. and then what? I want my package delivered- I don't have time for investigations, etc. I work just like you and your drivers do. I expect on time, responsible trustworthy service. This has happened to our family with 3 packages- and Please See's Candies - don't use them anymore - I had them deliver all my Easter chocolates in the sun at the top of my driveway. That package was also a day late- and delivered by a private vehicle in the early morning. I just want my package!! read more

Horrible delivery service. Avoid using it if you can. I was waiting for my package the whole day. In the evening the status changed to "delivered, left at front door". It would be fine if it were my front door. I called ontrack immediately but could not get to a live customer service. Finally complained to Amazon that shipped my package via OnTrac. read more

I strongly recommend you do NOT use this shipper. They lost my package and refuse to help me locate it. I have called them multiple times, and each time, they tell me the same store, oh, our driver is going to return to the location of delivery and try to locate the package. I find this hard to believe. because when I request the address to which they delivered my package, they can't come up with it. Not to mention, they CS Reps are super rude. All they do, when you ask then a question, is to repeat the same answer. Each time I call to follow up, I waited over 20 min on the phone. No Chat services available. I don't think this company cares at all. Please contact all the places you buy online, and tell then not to use this company anymore. Now in reading all of the reviews here, I am now wondering why there are so many packages missing. I was home all day on the day they "delivered" my package. I didn't see or hear anyone, dogs never barked... hmmmm.... what is going on? What's unusual is NOT that the package was mis-delivered. I have had other shippers mis-place packages in the past. However, they have 100% of the time located the missing package and delivered them to me. What's unusual is that this company is UNABLE to locate the mis-delivered package. When I spoke to the very rude CS rep, they are very quick to tell me to contact the seller for a refund and that the seller will bill OnTrac for the item. read more

Update.........It turns out that Ontrac hires a variety of drivers and they use their own vehicles to deliver. The particular driver for my area uses an old Japanese pickup truck and told me he is scared of mountain roads. He couldn't "find my house" because of his anxiety. Apparently his boss made him do it anyway and, voila, no further problems with Ontrac. read more

This guys should not be allowed to deliver any package. They left a note saying they missed, and there were no follow up actions. Tried to call 100 times, but unable to reach. Should I just wait for the whole day? I have a better thing to do. They should have some kinda pick up service or pick up arrangement. This business will not last long. Terrible service. I never write reviews but OnTrac's service is so bad I even created a Yelp account. So many people have the same problem with it I don't understand why Amazon still delivers with them. I ordered a birthday gift for someone on Amazon and they shipped with them. The gift was never delivered and because of OnTrac I was left in an uncomfortable situation. I ordered a new gift and I paid extra to have it earlier. I just saw that they used Ontrac again... I really hope it arrives otherwise I won't order from Amazon again. Horrible service. Ordered item from Best Buy because of promise to be delivered by Dec 15. On trucks 6 days out for delivery but never delivered, no calls or notices why. Called company they promised delivery that day Dec 22. No Delivery. Morning of 23 called and talked to manager Tina. Only competent person at that company. I must be the exception by m because I've never had an issue with on trac. Amazon uses them quite a bit for my deliveries. They've been 100%. Google also uses them for next day delivery with their Google shopping express platform. Again they've been 100%. No missed deliveries, no lost items. read more

One of the worst shipping career that I have ever seen. Terrible service. I would recommend to change the name "OnTrac" to "OffTrac" or "lostTrac". For some reason Amazon uses OnTrac service which is really bad. I wish I could recommend Amazon not to use OnTrac. read more

Horrible company! They don't even deserve a star. Had multiple problems with OnTrac every single time there's a delivery from them. Unfortunately not all companies you order from will state OnTrac will be used until a delivery confirmation notice is received. They never made an attempt to delivery package although delivery status stated delivered "front patio". Someone was home all day waiting for the package and our apartment don't have a patio! Our location is near the street so we would see when a delivery truck comes. I went to the leasing office to check in case they left it there for whatever reason, nothing. Every single time OnTrac has one of my packages it's lost or delayed. FedEx, USPS, DHL, and UPS can get things here on time, just not OnTrac. read more

Consistently fails to deliver on time, and sometimes not at all. These are signs for a company to just do something else.

Ordered 2 tires from Tire Rack on Sunday to be delivered on Tuesday. OnTrac tracking shows delivered on Tuesday at 2:21 PM however no tires and went back and checked our 8 camera security system and no OnTrac ever came that day. Called OnTrac and they admitted that the delivery date and time was manually put into their system. Most likely this is done to try and bolster OnTrac record of delivery with their client Tire Rack. Talking with OnTrac Wednesday who cannot seem to get in touch with the driver for our route and so the woman told us to contact Tire Rack and give them feedback. We said OK we will tell them to STOP using OnTrac!!!! This is not the first time OnTrac has pulled this stunt on us. OnTrac should at least be able to contact the driver immediately and find out the facts. Tire Rack got the same run around that we got when they called OnTrac.....which was, we will get back to you whenever we finally hear from the driver or their manager. Very Poor Service. UPDATE: So after calling OnTrac several times on Wednesday 11/21/2018 (the day after they claimed the tires were delivered) and calling Tire Rack, OnTrac said that someone would be at our home by 5:00 PM to help us locate the tires. 5:00 PM came and went but at about 9:30 PM that night an OnTrac truck shows up with the tires. The driver claimed he is not the one who claimed to have made the original delivery and that the tires were delivered to the wrong address and this driver had to go retrieve the tires from the wrong address. I am not buying that story but I am glad to finally have the $600.00 pair of tires! Still not happy with OnTrac, seems to be a poorly managed operation. read more

OnTrac is the worst carrier I have had the misfortune to encounter. They tried to deliver a package and did not ring the doorbell but knocked on the door. Since I was at the back of the house I couldn't hear them so they left a message tag. I called them to request that that deliver early or late the next day. They came during an hour & forty five minute window of time when no one was home in the middle of the day. When next I have a delivery I will inquire who they will use as a carrier. If it is OnTrac I will not buy the product! read more

Multiple problems with this shipper. First, we received a large package of perishable groceries destined for one of our neighbors. Then we ordered several items from Nordstrom's Rack, none of which arrived on time; and finally our daughter ordered reading books for her children which are being shipped via Ontrac, and they are now two weeks late. read more

Worst shipping company I have ever had contact with. Was scheduled for a delivery on Monday when I got home no package or note to return for delivery. I checked there web page and it claims they left it by the front door. I called the company and they said they would confirm with the driver the next day and call me. Never received a call from them the next day just received a note thrown on my door step claiming "I just put in here". Needless to say the package is gone they don't know where it is and it can't be replaced. After calling the customer service dept once again they basically told me oops don't know where it is. read more

I sit here waiting for another package from Amazon, same day delivery this time, through Oncrack unfortunately again, with the door open and the roll up screen over the entry to be sure I can catch the delivery guy coming up so he doesn't throw this hard drive replacement like he did the first hard drive which is probably why it wouldn't install Vista all the way for me. Amazon was awesome they credited my account so I could reorder and said don't bother sending it back, it would be a waist of postage and they would have words with Oncrack. Myself I've had nothing but bad service from Oncrack, late, said they were here but couldn't get in the gate which is weird because there are no gates, or trying to tell, yell to them when they are 20 feet and scurrying away, about throwing packages from over 7 to 10 feet or trying to ask them why they don't even knock or ring the bell when they deliver or do they figure the slaming down of you package is all the notice we need to know our package has been delivered by Oncrack. Wait is that mis spelt, prob blee not. I know I will never use them for my personal use, too bad Amazon does. I remember the one call I made trying to find the package that was locked outside the nongates and I got the nicest run-a-round I ever had, right up until my great Veriozoned S4 dropped the call while on their extender in my apartment. Bummer was I couldn't get a signal right away for some reason it took a couple of minutes for the phone to hook up again and so I didn't get her call back after the dropped call, so I had to start all over again, and that one was definitely an Oncrack employee. Worst experience ever. Ruined my new year. First they were lazy/ stupid for not leaving the package in the office. Than they promised on the phone they will, of course they didn't. Than I called them again - it is on average 2 hours for one call - and scheduled it to be picked up at their location. Guess what I came and there is no package - they do not know where it is. Ordered a DVD from Amazon with same day ship option. And unfortunately for me, these guys were the carrier. No show that same day and their website claimed that they made a "attempted delivery" at 4:33PM but the business was closed-which was of course a big lie. The next day, I waited all day and login to check on the tracking number every hour till 7PM, all of the sudden, their website showed it was delivered at 10:30AM?! I am not sure what kind of monkey business these guys are running. But Amazon definitely should not be given their businesses to these guys. I wish I could give ZERO stars. Lost a $400 necklace. But then suddenly found it when Amazon called them and was pissed. It was the second time they lost it. Amazon had to refund me the first time. Where was it? On the other side of the State! "We don't know how it got there!" That inspires confidence in your services. Especially since tracking number kept telling me it was in SF, when it was really lost in Palm Springs! From now on this is a deal breaker. Customer Service was great: spoke with Clarissa. However, the processes in which investigations are made can use some improvement. I received notification that my package was delivered to my PO box on 01/08/18 a little before 5pm. Went there on 01/09/18 and no package to be found. Checked again today, 01/10/18 and still no package and gave the employee at my PO box the name of the person who signed for the package, and no one by that name works at the PO box. I called On Trac and they could not open an investigation because the package was scanned as "delivered" and they cannot investigate "completed" deliveries. I verified with both my PO box and On Trac that the address was correct. How does a company allow someone who does not work for the PO box to sign for a package?! That does not make sense to me. Luckily, the sending company replaced my order and used UPS to ship it instead of On Trac. read more

This is a follow up to my review. The review did get the attention of the managers at OnTrac. The management team contacted me and they have made changes and fixed the deliveries to my home. I appreciate their efforts and have updated my review to a 3 as I now receive the packages and they aren't left down the street anymore, however I do not feel I can give them anything higher since it took more work for me than it should have to receive the packages to begin with. I hope they continue the changes and everyone's experiences improve. read more

These people are awful! Truly horrible in all ways pertaining to customer service and shipments in general. Definitely do not use them for anything. I am writing this review as I was waiting for a call back for 2 hours in the afternoon. I called this morning and they put me on hold for about 2 hours so I finally selected "call me back." When they called back they did not have the contact info for their own delivery location to check the status so they said they would call me back again. It's been 5 hours and they still have not called me back. But after 3 hours I got on the waiting list on hold again and now it's 2 hours with nothing... Truly awful company with no integrity. read more

Fortunately, the person living at home where my package was delivered was nice enough to bring it to me. I ordered something on amazon and it said it was going to be delivered by OnTrac. I've ordered many things from amazon throughout the years and it was always either by ups, fed ex or post office. so I went online and looked up ontrac because I've never heard of it and wanted to know what to expect and it took me to yelp, and there's a lot of bad reviews so I was kinda worried that it was going to be a mess, but I did get my package on the day it said it was out for delivery, it said my package was supposed to come by 8pm and it came like around 2pm that day. I live in a single house in San Jose so its easy to deliver. They did leave the package in front of my door though because I had just got home from work and I went to take a shower and I went outside to check and it was there, so they delivered it when i was in the shower. but as long as I got my package its all good. read more

Their joke of a business kept telling Amazon that they had delivered a product, even though I was receiving calls that the package was "mis-delivered" and would be brought back immediately (didn't happen). Then when I asked for help directly with OnTrac it was quite clear that the customer "service" person was being inconvenienced for looking into why I hadn't received the package. What a joke. Made an order from Amazon which was shopped by Ontrac. Arrived home to find box upside down at front door and found the reason was it had been opened. I live in an area where packages remain untouched at peoples doors for days. Looked online at shopping update to get the number and call them and it said it had been signed for at the door. No one was home at the time and why would it be left outside if it had been signed for. Have read MANY complaints about this company, and the fact that so many packages they handle never make it to the intended location.....I'm just saying, I guess the delivery guy doesn't like curry. Having read all of the reviews, I will not be using Amazon again until they quit using this company. read more

Every time I see that this company is involved, I know that my package will not be on time. They're awful, and they lie. They will say that they have attempted deliveries when I am home and know that they have not. They ALWAYS deliver things days late -- like, every single time. It's a wonder that things arrive at all.
