Absolutely incompetent shipping company! Don't use it, or you need to find somewhere to claim your refund because you hardly receive your package! read more

Why Amazon decided to used OnTrac for their deliveries I have no idea. This was an awful business decision. They lie about deliveries and brings down the reliability and trusted name of Amazon. Just get rid of them and save your good name Amazon. read more

this should be zero. Amazon Prime is using this service and they are HORRIBLE. The customer service is pathetic and they do not follow up with their word. DO NOT USE read more

THOSE DUMB FUCKS! Amazon should really stop using a company. The dumbass delivery driver said my package was undeliverable but I was AT HOME on my couch when they tried this "attempted" delivery. And when I called customer service, the representative was a complete jerk. I would have paid extra for UPS or FedEx read more

I had an order of Beats By Dre headphones thru Amazon Prime shipped thru this company and I'm absolutely appalled at the incompetence of On Trac. You don't leave a package containing equipment worth hundreds by the door step!! It was delivered at 2:22pm when I checked my notifications at 2:25...I look out the door and it's just chillin there...I got no rang doorbell or knock and if I hadn't been so quick to go outside and get it, it more than likely would have been stolen. I don't care if I got the package ahead of schedule....nothing was delivered...it was placed by my door outside my house for ANYONE to grab. That's not delivery at all. Domino's delivers better. I guess that's why this company had a nationwide 1 star rating. Smh. read more

Have yet to hear anything back regarding the incident and response from the company. If they cared about their customers they would take issues like this more seriously. In addition, I have many items arriving during the holiday season, I sure hope I don't have to deal with the same racist driver again. read more

I ordered items from amazon today. I paid extra to have the package delivered the SAME DAY. The package was NOT delivered, but they said that it was on the tracking and said it was signed by 'fd'. This is absolute BOGUS !!!!!!!!! I was very disappointed with this facility. Amazon should not be associated with such a bad company that cant even make a simple delivery. read more

I'd like to leave no stars. I ordered something thru Amazon for 2 day shipping. The item is now 4 days overdue. Each day I have called I was told that it would be on the truck the next day only to see it not delivered. The last 2 days I actually was told....they didn't have enough drivers....WTF? How do you stay in business? When you get paid ....how would you like the excuse we didn't have enough people to process your paycheck? Made sure to file am official complaint with them and Amazon read more

I ordered items from amazon today. I paid extra to have the package delivered the SAME DAY. Not only did the package not get delievered but when I called the facility to figure out what went wrong they told me I would have to wait for the next day to have it delivered or schedule a pick up. I DID NOT PAY TO PICK IT UP DAYS LATER. I was very disappointed with this facility. Amazon should not be associated with such a bad company that cant even make a simple delivery. They should at least have the decency to deliver it on time. read more

are these bad reviews done by the competition? wow, whats with all the negative reviews? this company is a local shipper, ive gotten 4 packages from these guys and they are great! every package has been over night! these guys get the job done! this is great because with USPS or fedex ups, they waste alot of gas, ontrac gets it straight to you. i like these small time local shippers, remember they are still in there infancy so give them a chance. over night shipping is standard? hell yea... i like that. read more

Good luck getting your package on time. It will go out on a truck multiple times before being delivered. Hell, an on track truck even drove by my house without delivering my package. read more

This company doesn't even deserve a star. I rarely use this shipping company, and unfortunately my last two experiences with them were extremely frustrating. The online tracking updates were always incorrect. Both times the shipment status online said my packages were delivered, and they were not. I had to file a claim for them with OnTrac, and I've had to contact my sellers to ask not to use these guys. I currently have a claim open to figure out what happened to my most recent order. If you can advoid using them do it! Please save yourself the time and frustrations. read more

Can we have a zero star review? I have never had any issues with Amazon delivery until they use OnTrac. I'm not buying from Amazon now, thanks to OnTrac. read more

This company lies about deliveries and also has stolen a package from me. Worst delivery company around, I'm begging Amazon to stop using them. Customer Service is also non existent. read more

Once again they failed. Package from Amazon was "delivered" to "f. door." No said package. I wanted to check to see if the apartment office had it but had to wait until the next day. Surprise....no package. Called them up and was told the driver could come out to see if it was where it was left. really? What good is that a day later? That was almost a week ago and I have not heard anything. I even emailed and they acknowledged that it was being looked into and I emailed back saying I should have been called back already and nothing. BBB should take this company out! read more

I ordered an item from Amazon and On Trac delivered to wrong address. The tracking showed that my item was signed by front door....what? I called their customer service and was informed that some drivers knock on door and others just leave the package. What kind of delivery company does this? From my experience On Trac is unreliable. The customer service person got back with me and informed me the driver will have to go back to track the package the next business day. I asked if they had delivered to the wrong address and she would not provide any information. Obviously does not have the customer interest in mind. I have reported this to Amazon and recommended not use them to deliver me future packages. read more

I paid extra for same day delivery with amazon. Ontrac said the delivery guy didn't have an access to my apartment, even though my name is clearly out their by the gate to call. Most apartments are like that. My name is on thr package and although by the gate to get an access. After I see that on amazon, I called 45 min later after the delivery guy arrived and I am still on hold. It's been an hour and 15 min since the hold. Don't know how long am going to hold. I paid extra service for nothing. I will call amazon tomorrrow, but I hope they don't use their service ever again. read more

This company is a joke. I ordered a phone from amazon and paid for 1 day shipping. Tracking said it would be delivered by 8 pm today. Come 730 and still no package so I check the tracking again. Apparently my package was taken back to the facility at 530 to be delivered on the next business day which is not until Monday. There wasn't a door tag or any indication that my package was attempted to be delivered. If a door tag had been left I could have gone to the facility tonight to pick it up. Not to mention the customer service department is horrible. The rep I spoke to was very rude and basically told me I was s.o.l. and had to wait until Monday. read more

These guys really really really suck. The customer service is a mess. Ordered a 200lb package from Staples to my home. I go to work on weekdays, not at home. The 1st time the driver left a door tag. I signed that door tag, letting them leave the item at my front door. The next day, I arrived home only to find that the door tag was gone but the item was not there. Called ontrac, they said they cannot accept a signature on their door tag - it has to be a signature on a staples form. This is stupid - if their door tag doesn't count, why leaving it at my front door and asking me to sign it. read more

I've had many parcels delivered in the year 2014 by OnTrac and have never had a problem. EVERY package has been delivered on-time with no issues to report. Many of the negative reviews are from the year 2013 and older. I can only assume whatever issue they had (in the past) has been resolved. read more

Major fail for OnTrac. They marked my package on the online update as DELIVERED, but when I clicked on the details, it says DELIVERY ATTEMPT FAILED. The problem with the online update is that NO DELIVERY DRIVER EVER CAME TO DELIVER MY PACKAGE. I sat outside my business for an entire hour waiting for the delivery, and nobody even drove into the parking lot. While I was outside waiting, I kept refreshing the OnTrac tracking update, and suddenly it popped up as DELIVERY ATTEMPT FAILED at 4:55, even though I had been sitting outside staring at the street at that very moment. Evidently the driver doesn't want to bother doing his job, or the package is still in a warehouse or airport somewhere. What a dreadful way to run a business. An hour of work wasted, and now knowing that my package wasn't going to arrive today (on a Friday, when the goods I badly need this weekend are in OnTrac's bungled care), I went inside to get some work done while I waited on the phone to talk to OnTrac customer service. I spent a solid 60 minutes on hold listening to some dreadful hold music, during which not a soul answered the phone. I hung up because I was out of time, and the endlessly looping hold music was just godawful. I also sent some urgent emails to OnTrac customer service via their website. Surprise surprise, no reply. OnTrac is batting 1000 for failure today. Does an OnTrac customer service department actually exist, or do they provide a phony phone number that sends people into an infinite hold loop, and customers eventually just get discouraged and hang up? At least while I waited on hold for an hour I was able to get some work done, but the hour I sat outside waiting for OnTrac was completely pissed away. Now I'm going to get home late, I'm behind in my work, and my weekend is screwed because the goods in my package never arrived. Thanks a lot OnTrac. You've made an abysmal first impression. What can you do to reconcile this? read more

Wish I could give ZERO stars. On Trac is a joke. Chewy.com used them to ship me a pet bed to the gated complex where I live. I never got it even though they said they delivered it in the tracking info. Chewy kindly shipped out a second pet bed and guess what? It never arrived even though THAT tracking info said it was delivered. Here's the kicker: both times the tracking info said the bed was delivered to the "lobby/ reception area." There is no lobby or reception area where I live. Where the heck are these 2 pet beds? I wish this company would be forced out of business. Shame on them. read more

So far, OnTrac has been delivering on time, I usually order things on Amazon and when I see OnTrac, I know it'll be here by 11:30am and their office is in the next city. These guys are unbelievably bad. I paid $25 to have a package shipped from San Francisco to Santa Cruz, it's about a 1.5 hour drive. The terms were $25 for next day delivery which would have been 11/29/17. It's now 12/7/17 and I don't have my package. I got on the phone with them yesterday morning, they said they would get me a ETA and call me back, never happened. Got on the phone with them yesterday around 5pm, they told me the packages were out for delivery. I offered to meet the driver half way, gave them my number, no call, no package. Called today, after 31 minutes on hold I finally get to talk to someone who can't tell me anything. It's not an isolated incident either, I have another package being delivered by them from Amazon, it's so late that Amazon thinks it is lost. Ontrac sucks, if I could give them -10 stars I would. read more

I ordered a product from Nordstroms Rack/ Hautelook rack last week and it stated that package was delivered on Monday the 25th at 3:30pm when I was home ALL DAY and no package was left or delivered to my home. I tried calling Ontrac costumer service and was on hold for over an hour and probably would've been on hold for longer had I not hung up. Unfortunately investigation with Nordstroms Rack takes up to 10-15 days before returns can be made, so I am SOL thanks to Ontrac and their shitty effort to deliver packages on time. Not worth any stars if you ask me, hopefully Nordstroms will invest with better a shipping company. read more

Terrible service. Apparently Amazon has been using the idiots for a while now. In over 15 orders which Amazon have sent to me thru Ontrac only one has arrived on time (I use Prime, so on time is within 2 days). I have requested that Amazon do not use Ontrac for deliveries to me but they still do. Now, everytime I see Amazon have used them I re-order the item and refuse delivery when it does in fact arrive (many never do). I get a refund from Amazon, get my item with another shipper, and Ontrac get to ship it both ways at their expense. Again, never use these people if you actually want your items to arrive. read more

OnTrac doesn't deliver and then says they did. I ordered an Amazon Dot Com Birthday Gift Card for $25 on June 8, 2016. OnTrac claimed it was delivered on June 9 - it was not. I contacted Amazon and they replaced my order at no charge. It too was not delivered although OnTrac said it was on June 13. This time Amazon replaced it with One Day Shipping for free. I ordered 2 Gift Cards when I learned that another friend was also having a Birthday, this time with Same Day Delivery for an additional $3.99. OnTrac claimed that they could not make Same Day Delivery that day because of "Bad Weather or Natural Disaster". They had to drive from South San Francisco to Redwood City, CA - a distance of 16 miles in Weather with Clear Blue Skies, Sunny and 68 degrees. With no mention on the Radio or TV News of any Natural Disasters in that 16 miles. That order was delivered on June 17 according to OnTrac. It was NOT. Amazon replaced that order also at no cost to me - including a refund of the $3.99 Same Day Delivery Charge. That replacement order never arrived either. Amazon awarded me Two FREE Gift Cards so that my 2 Birthday Girls could "have something nice on us". That order did not arrive either. Finally I ordered Amazon Dot Com $25 Gift Cards in the "Print At Home" style so I was actually able, at last, to give the girls their gifts even though I was disappointed that my orders of the Gift Cards in the beautiful (and free!) Amazon Gold Hearts Boxes with lovely Red Ribbons is what I wanted.. Meanwhile OnTrac continued to claim that each delivery was made and sent me "Proof of Delivery" - which was just their own email saying so - and claimed "POD Signature : FRONT DESK". When I asked them to SHOW ME THE SIGNATURE, they said that the word Signature doesn't mean anyone actually signed for it. My Dictionary says otherwise. After all this (and a bit more that I left out) all 6 Gift Cards in the Amazon Gold Hearts Boxes with lovely Red Ribbons were left quietly outside of my Apartment Door. On June 30. Nobody knocked. Just left the deliveries and slunk away into the night. I wrote to Jeff Bezos, Founder and CEO of Amazon Dot Com, and told him to drop OnTrac from their Corporate Approved Carrier List. He prides himself on building the "Earths' Most Customer-Centric Company", and all of my experiences with him and his Superb Executive Customer Relations Staff prove to me that he is certainly succeeding! I will be writing an Excellent Positive Yelp Review of Amazon Dot Com in the near future. :) OnTrac doesn't deliver and then Lies About It. They Disgust me. My Gift Card Orders showed up 21 days after I ordered them. Even those with Same Day Delivery! I do not know why companies use Ontrac, they are terrible. I stopped using Amazon because they insisted on using Ontrac. I live in a rural area and they do not want to deliver out here, UPS & FedEx come by here everyday and I do not have trouble with their service. I placed an order on the December 13th, it was supposed to ship on the 14th and be delivered by the end of day the 15th. Here it is the 17th and I still have not received the package. Checking Ontrac's website they just keep saying, "redeliver on next business day". What usually happens with Ontrac is that they keep the package for several days and finally turn it over to the post office for delivery. That delays the package at least another 2 days. This will be my last order with BEST BUY. I called BEST BUY support, waited 26 minutes for help and then got a representative that could barely speak English and her solution was to keep waiting for the package. NOT the answer I was looking for! THE BOTTOM LINE IS NO MATTER WHAT COMPANY YOU ORDER FROM IF THEY USE ON TRAC YOU WILL NOT SEE THE PACKAGE ARRIVE ON TIME, OR, IN SOME CASES, AT ALL!!!! read more

Oh god Ontrac is terrible. Been waiting all day for a package with no luck, but when I checked the status online it says "REDELIVER ON NEXT BUSINESS DAY" as in they already attempted the delivery? They didn't ring the doorbell or knock. Next time should I wait out on the streets? read more

The worst of the worst, I have had packages never arrive. I think the drivers steal them, but they scan the package as delivered. If your shipping a package out, completely avoid using this company read more

Every packaged that I had to use same day shipping from Amazon Prime always processed through OnTrac. However, none of the package EVER arrived on time! It charged me for $7.00 for "same" day delivery, but it actually the next day delivery. If they deliver the next day, I could just use my regular delivery from Amazon Prime that cost me nothing, instead I had to pay extra for the same service! Their tracking alway states that they cannot enter my apartment because they need a code! BUT whenever Amazon processed my parcels from USPS/UPS/FEDEX, they can just enter my apartment without any problem. Bad services, not recommended! read more

This company is a joke. I called them and had to wait for more than 30 minutes. And I called them to tell them I'll not be home before 5PM and they kept deliver my package before 5PM. And they kept doing it for 3 attempts. Now I can't receive my packages anymore. read more

You'd be hard pressed to find a worse service experience anywhere. Any time I see Ontrac as the delivery service, I beg the seller to switch to anyone else. Amazon contracted this company to save $ on shipment and that is why the service is so bad. If you work in the delivery service and deliver to the same address more than twice and still haven't resolve on how to get into the building to deliver the package to each resident, then I have no comment. At least make an attempt to contact the customer and let them know, service is so bad. Never pick up phone call. read more

I completely understand that unforeseen circumstances happen that will delay or prevent a delivery from happening. However, they get a 1 star rating for other reasons 1. online status tracking-false info[1stday] 2. liars- failed attempted delivery? no such attempt [2nd day] 3. no integrity- had they just communicated from the beginning the actual status of the package I would have given it a 5 or 4. read more

I am very disappointed the way they deliver my package. They either left package outside the driveway instead of placing it in more secure area.
