I was home, then I looked for a phone #, no phone number. Just a very long questionnaire to fill out. 60 minutes later I have no resolution. I have no idea where the pkg came from, which is strange and I can't stay home waiting. This delivery business has dropped the ball 1 other time and caused me problems. Never again as of this minute I still have not heard back 2 hrs later. When if it was FedEx they would contact the driver we could make arrangements and it would be over. Update: I contacted OnTrac via their SMS "customer service" I was told that they are "looking into the issue" and I will have an update on my tracking within two business days. That does not solve my order. I told them at this point my package needs to be delivered in two business days. Or I will be coming down to the warehouse to pick it up. I was informed they "no longer offering customer pickups" and that I will have to contact the seller to resolve things. This is NOT the sellers issue. This issue is 100% ontracs fault. Seeing as these yelp reviews have been the same issues for 8 years this company has no intentions of fixing anything. They then deflected the rest of the conversation and said this has been documented have a good day. Zero solutions from customer service. The ontrac customer service is an absolute joke, at this point I don't even think it's real. I sent in a inquiry about my package that has been on the "arriving today" status for the past 2 weeks. To only receive the has been delayed and will be delivered tomorrow status at the end of each day. This is not the first time ontrac has not delivered my package. Seeing the other reviews I'm not sure how they are still in business. I have also let Walmart know that this is happening and was told higher ups will be notified of this issue to prevent it from happening again. From here on out, if any of my shipments are to be sent by ontrac they will be cancelled. BOISE- Older man, white beard, large yellow van. For the past 2 years, the driver parks wherever at this property, blocks others in, blocks the driveway vs in visitor parking like he has been asked to do every month. This driver has been asked to park in visitor parking only. Driver parks in a clearly marked fire zone, right in front of 4 no parking signs. Driver has driven up onto the sidewalk through landscape to try to get to an apartment, after being told not to previously. Driver continues to walk through the landscape vs on the sidewalk 5' away, despite being asked to stay off the landscape and mulch. Customer service is non existent and refuses to provide a phone number for a local supervisor. 100% failure rate. read more

This is the worst delivery company ever and I finally filed a complaint today. After I told Amazon my issues, they notated on my account to never use On Trac for my packages again. Here's a small list of reasons: 1. I live in the Idaho mountains. I ordered tires for my SxS. They delivered them to a home 30 MINUTES AWAY to a street address that's not even remotely close to mine. They told the recipients they needed to drive the tires down to town to their distribution center. Why should a stranger be stuck with this burden? So, I drove an hour round trip to pick them up after finding out who had them. 2. 9 out of 10 packages I receive aren't even mine. They belong to my neighbors so I'm the one that has to deliver them. I've been doing this for years but I'm done. Every house is clearly marked. Next time I get a wrong delivery, I'll call On Trac and have them return to correct their error. I don't care if it's next door. 3. Our dirt roads can be challenging but they send their drivers in 2- wheel drive economy sedans and then wonder why they can't get to my house. UPS and FedEx have 4WD trucks. Take a hint. There's more but if you read through this whole diatribe, you get it. read more

I've had an absolutely horrible experience with OnTrac. One purchase was made at Home Depot, and three other purchases were made at Walmart.com. The packages have been held in Boise and have been "out for delivery." At the end of the day, the status has changed to: "Shipment Delayed. Delivery Date Updated." No explanation for the delays is given. My Home Depot purchase was eventually delivered after 2 weeks of delays -- after I escalated my complaint to a Home Depot supervisor. My first Walmart.com purchase was never delivered. I ended up complaining to Walmart three times, and OnTrac twice. After two weeks of delays, I was finally given a refund. My second Walmart.com purchase was delayed for 8 days. Today, OnTrac marked the package as delivered. The package was NEVER delivered. When I complained to Walmart.com, the customer service rep indicated that they have encountered multiple cases in which the OnTrac drivers mark packages as delivered because they have to close the day, and that they actually make the delivery within 48 hours. I'm supposed to wait for two more days and then get back to Walmart.com if the package doesn't show up. smh My third Walmart.com purchase is still in limbo ("Shipment Delayed. Delivery Date Updated"). This one has only been delayed for three days (and counting). I'm actually a very patient and empathetic guy, but my experience with OnTrac has been infuriating. It's turning into a part-time job just tracking my purchases and lodging complaints. I've told both Home Depot and Walmart.com that I will no longer be purchasing from their websites as long as OnTrac is the carrier. Sure, both companies might be saving initially by using OnTrac instead of FedEx or UPS, but if others are having similar experiences as mine, OnTrac will end up hurting them in the end. I have three cameras on my porch recording everything, so I was fully prepared to anything just in case something goes wrong with the delivery. I've learned my lesson -- steer clear of On Trac. My package status earlier today at of 6:18am was "out for delivery". At 4:18pm the delivery status was updated to "shipment delay" with delivery rescheduled to tomorrow. Huh? How can there be a " shipment delay" on a package that you said was out for delivery 8 hours earlier? I TRIED contacting On Trac via their 'Contact Us' page. I filled in all the required info, typed in my question regarding delivery, etc & hit the "send message' button. What do you know? I received an error message along the lines of " oops - there seems to be some kind of problem sending your message - please hit the send message button again". 3 hours later & my message still won't send. Ordered a product the Day before Thanksgiving. The package has been sitting in their Spokane warehouse since Nov. 29th. Each day OnTrac changes the expected delivery date to the tomorrow. We've had other perishable packages from OnTrac end up sitting in their warehouse for weeks and when finally delivered have spoiled. When I contacted OnTrac I get a polite "we'll get back to you" and then no contact. If they don't have the resources to handle the delivery then don't take the order in the first place. They will take the money and hold your package hostage. read more

Ontrac is awful. We have had multiple orders that went to the boise location and we never received them. Ontrac tracking said delivered but we did not receive anything. I know of two other people who live nearby and had the same thing happen. They are just marking the packages delivered but they are not delivering them. We emailed Ontrac customer service and they said well it says delivered so you have to contact the vendor to get your money back. Ontrac is essentially stealing by taking orders they can't deliver and then saying delivered and not actually doing anything but letting the packages sit in the warehouse. I would give zero stars if I could. This is one reason Amazon is taking over because of horrible companies like Ontrac. read more

I got frustrated and called the 800 # and was told they didn't have people to do sorting much less delivery. Gave me the option of driving 30 miles to pick up the package. My tracking info has shown that my order has been sitting in their warehouse since 9/11 (10 days now!). Each day it updates with a delivery date on the next day. I called several days ago to inquire about the delay and was told: "we're very short-staffed and don't have enough delivery drivers". I told them I was willing to drive there to pick it up. I ordered a blue tooth speaker on Thanksgiving which was supposed to be delivered the following Monday. For Monday-Friday my package was "out for delivery". When I called I was told my package had been sitting in the Boise warehouse since that very Monday. I had to change the delivery address, since I moved Dec 1. They told me I would have the package Monday, yesterday. But alas yesterday and today no side and now my tracking simply says delayed scheduled for Wednesday. They have had my package in the possession for going in 9 days in Boise. I don't have time to drive down to the airport to pick it up. I had items shipped from S&S activewear. I went to their website to track my package, it had been sitting in their hub in Boise, Idaho for 2 days, I decided to call there customer service number where it told be to press 5 to track my package, where it gave me on other options and hung up on me, So I looked up there address in Boise and drove to their business location. When I went in and handed the person their my tracking number, she state "I hope it's here". After waiting awhile and watching here go up and down the corridor, she came back with my package and had me sign a piece of paper saying I picked it up. I asked for a supervisor which happened to be the person that helped me. When I told here that had been sitting there for 2 days, she had nothing to say. Further when I would not be using Ontrac in the future because this was the 3rd time I had to go to their hub, she had nothing to say, not even an apology. Zero Stars, my package was statused delivered however IT WAS NEVER delivered to my address. They state the day, time, and where my package was delivered.. Funny I was home all day that day since it was Labor day and also your website says you're closed on Labor Day... I wish that Wal-mart would quit using them. Every time I order something from Wal-mart and they ship it using ontrac it is always being delayed. I have had items delayed for up to 2 - 3 weeks. They have used the excuse wasn't delivered due the weather, a dusting of snow on the ground. Once I tried going over to Boise to pick it up and they never answered the telephone. Tried emailing them took them 3 days to reply, then they told me I couldn't come pick up the package, due to employee shortage there was no one there at the warehouse. My packages have been at the Boise facility since 9/30 and their customer service continues to say it's being escalated, however, I have talked to them over 20 times on the phone and continue to get different answers from each employee. They also don't offer to allow you to pick up your package. My experience with this company has been less than satisfactory and I still don't have my packages. read more

Had an expensive package delivered by this service and they left the package in plain view for anyone that drives by our house to see. Who leaves a package on the front step when you can easily open the screen door and place it out of view on the front porch? Especially right now around the holiday season when there are so many of these porch pirates out stealing packages. Worst service ever. My current package is 9 days late! For the last 4 days they have blamed weather when the weather is fine. They lied to me each time and said delivery was attempted- it was not. I work from home. The last package Amazon sent me was also a nightmare. The driver asked me to meet him 14 miles away since he was due to get off work, and this was after it was already days late. Hold times on their 800# are a half hour, they promise it is out for delivery, and then AGAIN blame the clear weather. Email responses are outright lies. read more
