So consider that if any of these reviews are old. This is now one of those shops that don't want to actually do labor and try to fix things, but rather just replace everything with new parts. They told me my car needed a lot more than it really did. Their alleged price for parts was out of this world. I asked what their labor rate was and was told they didn't know. The guy who helped me at the counter, and worked on my car shouldn't deal with customers. There were also about half a dozen people just standing around eating pizza. Maybe their high costs reflect running a heavy crew? Came here because I thought it would be quick and convenient. Ended up sucking it up and actually making an appt elsewhere and my car was fixed for less than half Towne Lube Express quoted me. My personal opinion is this is a "drive in" "convenient" state inspection place that feels like once they have your car they have the upper hand. Don't be passive and just accept their quote. Don't be bullied. Now I am VERY curious what happens to this place after January 2026 when allegedly New Hampshire stops requiring inspection stickers. Enjoy just doing oil changes for the people too busy to make appointments elsewhere!

Amazing service. Called them at 6:30PM on a Wednesday when my battery light came on. I knew it was…read morealternator because my 2008 Toyota Tundra voltmeter was down to 12V (normally 14V). Jeff answered phone and told me to bring it in the next morning, couldn't promise to get it done on Thursday but that he'd look at it and let me know. Thursday afternoon Jeff texted me saying that it was the alternator, he had the new parts, but that he would probably finish it on Friday as he was working on his scheduled appointments. Friday afternoon he texted me that he was in progress and that he would try to finish it before closing but that the Tundra alternator is NOT an easy replacement (I already knew this by searching for Tundra alternator replacements on YouTube). At 7:30, Jeff texted me saying he just had finished and it was ready to pick it up. His parts prices were exactly what I expected from checking on line parts prices AND his labor cost was VERY reasonable. I cannot say enough good things about Valet Lube & Auto! He got me in right away and worked his BUTT OFF to get my truck back to me for the weekend! For now on, all my work on my truck and wife's car will be done by Valet Lube and Auto in Kingston.
