I had bought a 2007 Subaru Forester and have had too many problems, do not buy a car. The initial price is great, but the quality of the work performed is poor at best. The front of the car was wrecked and the title was salvage, I knew this. The car rode OK so I decided to buy it. Problems? The week I took it home the AC stopped working, I brought the car back and they recharged it, it does not work still. The two fenders that were painted black turned a white color, brought the car back and they blamed the bad temperature in the garage, so they buffed it and it looked good for a few months, now they look horrible again. The paint on the front bumper is poor and the rain is actually washing the paint away and it looks horrible, so I bought a car bra to hide the heinous job they did. The paint on the roof is peeling off and rusting. Within 2 months of purchase, I was told I needed a new drive shaft, and my mechanic mentioned how it was broken as a result of an ACCIDENT, this was 1,000$. I also needed the front struts and strut mounts replaced, and upon inspection my mechanic mentioned how the parts looked like they were taken off a JUNK car, which matches perfectly with this place because they take "good" parts off crappy cars and pass it off as acceptable, this cost $500, now 6 months later and rear struts and strut mounts need replacing, (another $500) and now their is a gasket oil leak that will cost $2,000 to fix because they need to take the motor out to fix it, and they need to replace other parts like the timing belt, water pump as a result of this, even though supposedly these things were replaced before I even thought the car. Now at 6 months, and 8,000 miles later I am taking a huge loss and getting rid of this piece of crap. DO NOT BUY A CAR THERE! Yes, the price is good, but you will pay more in the end. read more

My girl friend bought a 96 Honda accord less then 50k miles from them and within a 2 days it was leaking gas.... The gas tank had a hole, the brake line was deteriorating. I called to Ron about the vehicle and to see if we could get it fix. I told him about the issue and he told me that he's going to charge us for checking for the leaks and any repairs. So I told him that the vehicl should of been check before it leaves the lot. Then he told me that I better change my tone of voice when talking to him, I was shocked and extermely offended at this point. Then he told me not to call there again and hung up on me. Needless to say I didn't know anything about the lemon law and if I did I would have brought that to his attention, but I end up paying out of pocket to repair the car. If you're going to do business with them please becareful, I wouldnt recommend this guy to anyone. And I hope with our mistakes will help protect future consumers who's out shopping for a vehicle. read more

The epitome of a shady used car dealer. Everything that comes out of Ron's mouth is a lie and it's no surprise that the owner is worse. In addition, they never upheld their promise to resolve the many issues on the car. The car was a lemon with nothing but problems. On top of everything, the car was delivered with an empty tank of gas. When I asked them to fill it up, they told me to come back tomorrow because they didn't have any cash. When I asked them the next day, they gave me another excuse. Ron just keeps saying "don't worry, don't worry" and then does nothing to help resolve your problems. I would not do business with this dealership ever again!!! There are so many complaints out there that I could not even explain the expense I have incurred buying a used car from them. And please do not be fooled because they are an inspection station and claim they will inspect the car and pass the inspection... You may find that it would not pass the inspection at another inspection station and if you make it the year without any major repair problems [sic.], When you go the following year to have the car inspected, you most likely will realize that you should have read the several negative reviews were your warning to stay clear.. Awful! They are very very nice when they want to sell you a vehicle. They screw up the payments and incredibly rude when you call them out on it as if you are the one who made the error. I wouldn't even give a star. I purchased one vehicle there when I was on a tight budget and could only afford a buy here pay here vehicle. I got what I paid for. I made a purchase of a vehicle for $9000 and that car had the engine light one, wouldn't start every time and stalled out when the gas gage showed a half a tank, yet was empty. If you are on a budget, and only need a vehicle for short distances from time to time, than I guess it's fine. But, if you need a reliable vehicle, steer clear! read more

I purchased a vehicle not even a year ago and the car has so many issues that are safety issues. When i put the second set of new front tires on the vehicle and getting an alignment done the mechanic informed me that the 2 coil springs in the back are broken and the car never should have had a sticker put on the car. There are so many more issues with the car. But i guess that is why you have to go to their garage for the first sticker. When i purchased the car i agreed to make payments for the car not for repairs as well, ( not repairs that should not be wrong ) I will never return to, or recommend MERROW'S to anyone i know. read more
