He took his time explaining some of the cars features and never hurried our test drive. To make a long long story short it was the valve body in the transmission that needed to be replaced. After back and forth issues with the dealer ship our extended warranty denied the claim but supposedly the dealership fixed it and the codes were cleared. About a month after the lights go on again with the same code. We had to pay to replace the valve body because we believe it wasn't fixed at all just codes cleared. Now another few weeks to a month go by and another transmission code comes up for something else and the subaru service center says the warranty claim was denied again. Our machanic who is very trust worth says the warranty company said claims for the transmission was voided back at the dealership and that the warranty will not cover the transmission unless a whole new transmission is put in with a new serial #. So now I call the dealership and was supposed to get a call back but nada.. no call back. I have to call them today to tell them they need to fix this car and find out what they did to void the warranty.. Mind you we bought this car in Feb 2026 and still dealing with this issue. My guess is they will ignore us like they have all along. I would never ever recommend this dealership to anyone and I will never go back there. Don't know what to do here because we do not have about 5k to fix this transmission and they sold us the car with this issue that was covered up.. and now it is our issue?

We were repeatedly told we were agreeing to $6,000 down, 60 months at $356/month. After signing the paperwork, we discovered the final terms were $4,000 down, 72 months at $354/month, with $2,000 of our down payment returned as an "overpayment." When we questioned the discrepancy, we were told that we had signed the contract and there was nothing they could do. One of the general sales managers also told us that we had only "shaken hands with a salesman," not a business manager. I recognize that we should have reviewed the paperwork more carefully before signing. That said, the terms we were repeatedly told during signing the documentation and the terms we ultimately signed were materially different, and that was extremely disappointing. Make sure you carefully review every number, down payment, interest rate, and loan term before signing anything, regardless of what you were told verbally. I love the vehicle, but buyer beware. I believe this was a total bait-and-switch and that they profiled me as young and naive.
