Took my 24 eclipse cross in for a oil change. While it was on the lift they had me go out to the garage to see that brake pads need to be changed. They had the pads out of the calipers and caliper taken off. I told them that I would do my brakes myself and put it back together and just do the oil change . I did the brake job this weekend and I found that they massively over torqued the caliper slide pin bolts. One side was ok, on the driver side I need a 3ft cheater pipe to get the 14mm bolt off. Should never happen naturally with a car that's only 2 years old. Either negligence or spite are the reasons that this could happen. I would not trust bringing my cars there for service. read more

Cornerstone Mitsubishi - Rounded bolt head - Car Dealers Near Me - Wilmington, Massachusetts

They worked with me through the whole process. Financing was easy. I test drove it today and took it home. Awsome dealer

Do not buy from Cornerstone Wilmington MA. They promise you everything and do not follow up. Mom and pop dealership but they are not in tune with other family-owned workers. I owned a 2023 Mirage that was totaled. I got a 2024 Mirage as I moved, and it fit in my garage. My paperwork is on my 2023 not 2024. Should have been updated. I bought a package deal for tires and paint. I was not told I had to tell them I have a contract as it doesn't come up in their system. I had a blowout cost me $341.40 and I got nothing back. I was told you need to read all the signs in the shop area and tell them I have a contract. I was also told NO sign was up it was put up the day I started asking questions. I called owner who told me he put sign up himself. SOMEONE is lying. He told me yelling he would call me back and that was two weeks ago. Temper Temper. His son declined me getting any money back. Person in charge of shop said to do it but again he was outnumbered. Also paint I have a nick but was told it has to be a certain measurement, and they don't do in shop. When I had my 2023 and brought it in for some work, they asked me my mileage I didn't get so guy goes out, and he says 19,000 miles. Brand new car is two weeks old. Called owner again I said did I get a used car oh nono. I'll fix it. I'm out my tire and paint money and I have contracts I'm not allowed to use. Honestly, they need some experienced people who work and understands the business. They had to rewrite my paperwork as I needed a sticker, I guess no one goes to the registration. I called and I finally got the paperwork. Many more problems. One time I get in my car work was complete. Why was a piece of my car under the steering wheel? Guy says oh it goes under the seat, and he put it back. I might have more another time. BE AWARE PROBLEMS. One more thing I left my car once and as a courtesy it was brought back to me by a shop worker. I started to drive, and he said oh do you need help in your place give me your number. I said I have help I'm all set. Before he leaves, he said give me your number I said again I'm all set. I've said enough for today. read more

My husband and I have been loyal customers of Cornerstone Mitsubishi for more than a decade, and for good reason: they offer fantastic cars and have a team of professional, friendly salespeople who never make us feel pressured. Tori, Bill, and Will were exceptional; they were so professional and a pleasure to work with. As we were concluding our leases on our 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander Sports, we decided to lease two Outlander PHEVs, which we hadn't even considered before. Tori and Bill provided us with valuable insights on the impressive performance of the PHEV and explained how it operates. Personally, I don't believe New England is quite ready for fully electric vehicles, but I must say the Hybrid is an excellent choice. Having both electric and gas options turned out to be much better than we initially thought. We are extremely satisfied with our new leases. Thank you, Tori, Bill, and Will, for guiding us through the leasing process and making it so easy. We look forward to seeing you for maintenance and again in three years when our leases are up! read more

Claimed there was a hole in my muffler and didn't know how I passed inspection. They wanted to charge me $900 for a new muffler. Brought my car to a muffler repair center. First of all they would have only charged me $400 for a new muffler. However I didn't even have to because there was no hole in my muffler. Very interesting... Use local repair shops!!! read more

I am VERY happy with the level of respect, professionalism, and honesty I received from cornerstone Mitsubishi! My experience with Justin the salesman, Richard the general manager, and even mr Camino the owner has been phenomenal! This dealership was the last to have the vehicle I was looking for. I had never purchased a vehicle out of state, but they made it easy. All of these people worked with me to get the car I wanted and to get it purchased the proper way so it could be registered in my home state. They are even coming in on a Sunday to meet me, since I'm flying in to pick up the car. I felt like they really went out of their way to make me a happy customer, and I felt kinda like family. They had ZERO shady antics! Buying a car in Florida can be horrible........, but in Wilmington??? It's magical! I cannot sing their praises enough! This dealership , and this little town of Wilmington, will be my first choice for finding my next car in the future. read more

What a wonderful place to do business. I purchased a car and the experience was wonderful. The Roberts brothers where great. If looking for a new Mitsubishi, check them out. read more

Family owned and family run....every single person on the sales floor is family. Went in there with my fiancé to trade in he car and ended up leaving with a new car myself. No pressure sales tactics....very upfront, helpful and knowledgeable about the products they are selling. Highly recommend them. read more

This is hands down the best experience we have ever had. From the salesperson to the owner, we thought they were absolutely awesome. We never felt as though we were dealing with a "salesperson." They were transparent about the vehicle options, financing and pricing. We have leased many cars in the past and this is the first time that we weren't asked what we could afford or what we were looking to spend. Think about that...instead they asked what options I currently have in my car and we started from there. THEN we spoke about getting the best price...imagine that! No high-pressure sales techniques - just a family man (the owner) trying to get you into your next car but he wants you happy with your purchase. We called another local dealership to compare pricing and guess what!?! The salesman was your typical "If you can get it for that price, then I would go with them!" guy. It only proved to us how genuine the people at Cornerstone Mitsubishi truly are because the pricing was significantly different (less) on top of the most friendly service we've ever received. read more

Let's face it, car shopping usually sucks. Kinda like going to the dentist. You gotta do it once in a while, but it doesn't mean you like it. Well, unless you have a place like Cornerstone Mitsubishi. John L. put my wife into a 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport in silver color and it looks sharp. The Mitsubishi dealership that was near me in South Portland Maine was no longer selling vehicles. Since I wanted a Mitsubishi, I did some research and found one in Wilmington Mass that was really well reviewed. I made the drive down, took a test drive, signed the paperwork and drove that puppy back, happy as a clam. Rides smooth, the all wheel drive will come in handy in the Maine winters, and I couldn't be more impressed with how well I was treated at Cornerstone. I usually don't recommend many car dealerships... again, I'd rather spend my time doing more important and FUN stuff... but when you gotta get a new ride, you gotta get a new ride. SO glad I took the time to research and find John L. at Cornerstone, and even happier I took the time to drive down and get my 2018 Outlander. If you're in the market for a quality and very affordable all wheel drive SUV, give a call or better yet, stop by Cornerstone Mitsubishi and see John L. You won't be disappointed! read more

Two weeks ago, I set out to find the Jeep of my dreams. After having no luck finding one where I currently live (Vermont), I reached out to Brian Doherty of Cornerstone Mitsubishi (Wilmington,MA) on a whim, after seeing they had a 2017 Jeep Wrangler with only 5,600 miles. Brian reached out to me immediately after I inquired and listened to what I was looking for. Brian and his team went extra lengths to ensure an easy trade in process with my old car. Once arriving at Cornerstone Mitsubishi, the process was effortless. I was immediately greeted by Brian, the owner and quickly moved on to financing and was on the road before I knew it. I can't thank Brian Doherty and his team at Cornerstone Mitsubishi in Wilmington, MA for helping me find my dream car. I highly recommend this place and will be sending friends and family down from VT to meet this awesome dealership! Brian, hope to see you in the future for my next car!! read more

Great and friendly service from the sales to the service department. Really good folks! Much better than the old Grava Mitsubishi we used to go to. read more

This is a rarity in the automotive sales world. I purchased my Mitsu from Cornerstone and they were great here. Zero pressure and nonsense. The people here will do what it takes to get you the best deal on a new car. Service department is good as well. They have a facility that can handle the sales that they make. read more

I would like to say thank you to Bill and to his team .I appreciate what you did for my boys to make things right and we will be back.During our purchase ,you and your team did make us feel like family and I will not forget that experience. Thanks again Larry Sr. read more

I've usually had a somewhat decent experience here however today I took my car in to get serviced and multiple employees were not wearing masks. I saw mechanics coming and going from the garage without masks, the man at the front desk (which had a glass separator) was not wearing a mask and multiple other employees were walking around inside and out without masks. This is extremely concerning and made me very uncomfortable. read more

I have a 2007 Mitsubishi eclipse convertible. A few years ago I saw the dashboard separating and I mentioned it to the dealer service department. They said there was nothing that could be done for it as the glue does not hold. Recently someone in the service department told me to call Mitsubishi corporate as it is a safety concern being that the airbags could be affected and corporate said that since it is now past its warranty there was nothing they could do about it. I'm frustrated because when I mentioned it the first time it was still under warranty. Service department now wants $1,500 to put in a new dashboard. I'm not a happy customer as I purchased this car brand new from them back in 2007 and you would think they would honor a known defect no matter if the warranty is just a year past especially when the problem occurred while it was still under warranty. read more

I showed up on time at 8 AM for a 15K oil change, they turned my car around in about an hour. They also vacuumed the interior. Good price, friendly family dealership. read more

I went to Cornerstone Mitsubishi this past weekend to help my Mom go through the usually grueling experience of buying a car. It was the last day of the month and we were nervous to see what we'd be dealing with. From the moment we walked in, Margaret greeted us and set us up with a test drive of the exact car my Mom was hoping to purchase that day. The entire team working that day did everything they could to ensure my Mom was getting the best deal. They helped us finish everything within about 2 hours and eliminated any stress she had felt about buying a car. Thank you Cornerstone Mitsubishi for helping us! We wish we found you sooner. We'll be back! - Courtney Dinsmore read more

I've been coming to this dealership for the past 2 years for service and they are great! They always treat me well and they are always honest and priced fair. I've come in last minute, twice with serious service needed and they've been accommodating. I recently moved and will drive 30 miles out of my way to come here because I trust them. I highly recommend Cornerstone Mitsubishi. read more

My car was recently totaled so I decided to look at Lancers. I went to a dealer in NH who told me they had "TONS" of manual transmission Lancers to drive. They called several times and when I got there had NONE. I called CORNERSTONE and Bill told me they were closing soon but if I wanted he could wait til I arrived. I got there, they had several cars, I drove one and he gave me a fair price. When I picked the car up, I was in and out of there in about ten minutes. I have purchased many cars in my day and have NEVER HAD SUCH AN EASY, PLEASURABLE and NO HASSLE purchase. This place is great and has a huge selection. read more

The car I bought from this dealership is sooo awesome. The dealers gave me a good deal overall. The reason for my poor review is more about the car dealers themselves. They are understaffed, and made me go out of my way too many times. They told me to take the car home before they had the title, then my insurance ran out..yadayada, One of the owners yelled at me over the phone so much that he made me cry...I would give back my cute little car in a minute if it meant I would never have to deal with the compassionless car dealers at this business :( read more

Service department let me down. Brought car in to have brake noise evaluated. Tech sanded and cleaned left rear brake drum. Charged $90 for 25 min of work. When I left the car was vibrating significantly. I had no time to return to the shop the same due to my work schedule. I had the vibration evaluated by a local tire shop and the wheel the tech serviced was found to have a badly scalloped tire which can be dangerous. If they caused it they should have told me; if not they should have noticed it (I saw the issue as soon as the tire tech showed it to me) and informed me. I feel like they did not pay attention while working on my vehicle. read more

Took my car in for 15k mile service . Oil change, also they fixed a wheel imbalance problem that caused my car to shake like a bucking bronco when driving at highway speeds. Their Price was reasonable and work was done properly. Same day prompt service and no problems. Would return again. read more

Everything I heard about this dealership and their integrity is 100% true! They are truly a lost breed of dealership. Right form the start they listened to our needs and never once tried to up-sell us on anything we were not looking for. Both Maggie and Bill went out of their way to get our son into an affordable used vehicle they knew he would be safe in. Then gave us a great deal on a trade in to boot!!! They may not have the fanciest building, but you certainly know what they value: an honest sales department with a sense of pride. We will definitely come back for our next purchase. Thank you! read more

Brian Doherty did a great job selling us a new Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV.

Came in today to get my 30k mile service. Great service and reasonable price. Will be going back in the future.

The salesman was very nice but my whole experience with this dealership was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. If it wasn't for the car I would have went somewhere else. For claiming they are the number one mitsubishi dealership in New England I expected better. First time I actually had to chase down a salesman just to buy a car. I was lucky if I got threw to him and when my calls were finally returned it was very late at night. No one there seemed eager or genuine. The finance guys attitude completely changed and seemed rude/pushy when I decided to not take any additional options on the car. They kept rescheduling services on me . It was just gettin laughable at how many times something would go wrong or change. It's safe to say that I will never be back for a car or service. read more

I have been going to this Mitsubishi Dealer for years and I will always go back. Can't beat the service and the sales members are incredible. No pressure and they always fine a good deal that will work for you. You won't find many places like this. You feel very welcomed and I honestly enjoy going when I need to get my car serviced. Went from a Lancer ES to a Lancer GT now I'm in a 2015 Evolution. Outstanding service everytime! Thanks too Eddy. Billy. John and all the other Mitsubishi service workers read more

I have never been impressed with their service department. I had an appointment for a recall on my vehicle. Isn't the point of having an appointment so that your car is worked on when your appointment happens? It took them 30 minutes to take my car to start working on it. It's not like a doctors office that gets backed up, it's 8:30 in the morning on a weekday. 5-10 minutes late, fine. 30 minutes, not so much. read more
