Went today around 6:30 order the number three combo not even full-size chicken gave me basically the bottom of the barrel call in basically they couldn't help me because I just didn't have my receipt! Never again to this location !!

Food is always good quality and fresh. The shrimps are large and tasty. The portions are on par and not cheap at all. Great for a quick home cooked type meal at a good price! We love it so much, the husband goes weekly for just the mac to add to his meal prep lunches! Thank you, gabi

Stop by this location for some chicken bbq. Ordered the bbq chicken plate. Good portion of chicken. Could use a little more veggies. The rice was ok. Needed to be washed a few more times to make it more fluffy and less wet. Grabbed a side of masube. Haven't had one of these in a long time. Took me back to when I was in Maui last year. Not exactly the same flavors, but close enough. The dining room was clean. Staff members were very nice and welcoming. Great spot for a quick some bbq chicken overall. I didn't give it 5 stars only because I originally wanted the spicy chicken bbq plate. But it was going to take an extra 15 minutes. Other than that. I rate it 4.5 stars. Enjoy!

First and foremost, they have poor customer service. On top of that, you receive coupons online, just to wheel you into the restaurant. I tried placing my order online and by the time it loaded, it said they could not process my order, so we went into the restaurant. The young ladies at the cashier gave us a dirty look when we were walking in, as it was 15-20 minutes before closing. I understand they wanted to clean up and go home, but we are still within the business time. I explained that I was trying to use the coupon online and it didn't matter. So we placed our order. When we got home, we started eating the food, and the fish was raw and not fully cooked and the rest of the food tasted and was burnt! Terrible! I was so disappointed as this meal was not cheap! I will be reaching out to the manager. As this was not a good experience! Thumbs down!

Came here Friday night because this particular location had a drive-thru even though there was another location closer to me. I ordered the bbq chicken & bbq beef combo. There was hardly any meat. I paid $14 with tax for the meal. I tend to go to other Hawaiian bbq places and get twice as much food for the same price. I will have to find a good Hawaiian bbq place in this area.

    Rude Drive thru lady

Manager and girl at drive thru window were very rude.Brooklyn the cashier took care of me inside while the manager and the drive thru girl working this night made me get off my car to order the island chicken fire. Literally have ordered this item from the drive thru before and now all of a sudden they can't make it. I understand the extra wait to cook and i was fine waiting there being 3 cars ahead of me my food could've been ready instead of making me get out of line and come inside to order.

I only ever really order the Katsu Chicken plates so I'm not sure how the other items compare but they always do a good job on this dish.Chicken Katsu

I loved the food. Ono never disappoints. The service here was great! I got my food in a timely manner and the staff was very friendly! I even got a cute tote bag from inside :)

I usually get my food to go as I don't feel that it's that nice or comfy inside, but I've dined in before when I was in a hurry and it was fine. If I were to suggest one thing, it would be to allow for greater customization of the plates. You get your protein laid out on a bed of steamed veggies, a few scoops of rice, and a scoop of Mac salad. As far as I know, they don't allow substitutions. I eat brown rice but not white rice, so I would prefer to be able to swap it for extra veggies.

We ordered the Island Fire Chicken plate, grilled chicken breast plate (I selected teriyaki instead of the lemon pepper), guava pie, and a large drink. It's worth noting that unless specifically listed, they use dark meat chicken. Both plates came with 2 scoops of white rice, 1 scoop of macaroni salad, and 1 scoop of steamed veggies. Island Fire Chicken plate (6/10): my husband ordered this. I did not try it as I do not eat dark meat. The staff likened the spice level to higher than Sriracha. My husband was disappointed it wasn't as spicy as he was anticipating. Keep in mind spice is subjective. He wasn't a fan of the charred bits of chicken as the texture was too tough. He said he'd order it again, but it's nothing to rave home about. Grilled Chicken Breast plate (2/10): I ordered this as it was the only item in the menu with chicken breast (white meat). It was a disappointment. This is completely subjective, but to me, it was giving processed chicken. Like Tyson in the frozen food aisle. Also, it was not cut on the bias so it was difficult to eat. I gave up after one bite. I'll be giving the rest to my dogs. Macaroni salad (7.5/10): tasted good at first, but as I got closer finishing it, it started tasting fishy. I had just raved to my husband about how happy I was that it did NOT have ham. Just to find out it has tuna instead. I do not eat seafood so this was a disappointment. It wasn't great until the fishy taste overpowered it. My husband (who loves tuna) was a fan. Steamed Veggies (5/10): Frankly, it's hard to mess up steamed veggies. I was expecting more broccoli or other veggies on my plate. I got a bed of cabbage and ONE tiny broccoli floret. So did my husband. No shade to cabbage, but I expected more variety based on the menu photos. White Rice (10/10): The only saving grace was the rice. It was as expected. Simple, steamed, white rice. Hula Guava Pie (4/10): My job dropped (literally) when I saw it wrapped in plastic packaging. It was just sitting on the counter between the registers. I guess my greatest disappointment was in expecting it to be like the hand pies at Jollibees or McDonalds. They're obviously not made fresh in house, but they're warmed up and packaging nicely like a sweet little gift. So my expectations were shattered when I got this overpriced pop tart. You can certainly taste the guava on the inside, but it tastes quite processed. I'm a guava snob so I understand I'm being harsh. It did have the same texture as a pop tart. Plenty of parking outside. It's in a private lot in the same complex as a Target and Chick-fil-A. It felt a tad pricey. Without the coupon our total would have been closer to $38. With the coupon we paid $22.80 which felt like a great value since the portions are generous. I love that they have katsu and teriyaki sauces readily available. There's a pump with little cups so you can help yourself. The katsu sauce is vinegary which I'm not a fan of, but my husband enjoyed. We both enjoyed the teriyaki sauce. It wasn't too thin or too thick in texture. The staff was friendly and helpful. My seating recommendation if you dine, as soon as you walk in the door, sit on the right side. The left side is near the restroom (down the hall). I have a very sensitive nose and could smell the cleaning products. It's a non issue if you're not sensitive. Overall, I personally would not be back for myself, but husband enjoyed it. If you're into dark meat, or willing to try a different protein, give it a try and see for yourself. But personally, I've learned Hawaiian food is just not my cup of tea.

It's in a somewhat suburban area, so there's street parking and you may have to walk a bit, but we were able to find parking just right across. Park Avenue is a mini mart and shop, along with a restaurant. Hot foods, baked goods, shirts and apparel, jewelry, imported snacks and sweets, canned and jarred foods, and a fridge with some drinks and to go goods too. I was already super full already, but we were able to try a bit of the food and take the rest to go. Pretty generous portions and very unique food that is a bit more difficult to find elsewhere. We got the Taupou Plate which is a 3 item plate order with 2 side items. For this, we chose the lamb, turkey tail, and curry and for the side items we got the banana and taro. Interesting mix of sweet, creamy, savory, and umami. I'm not the biggest fan of turkey, but turkey tail isn't a very common "cut of meat" to order. Really rich, tender, and a bit greasy, but if you love turkey, this is perfect for you. Nice mix of flavors with this order and has the most variety. Definitely get this if you want a little bit of everything. Lamb meat was also moist and rich as well. Unique eats and great welcoming service as well!
