I tried other gyms and other trainers to help me out of my rut over the years. I tried many diets too. Nothing clicked. None of it helped physically AND mentally. It only seemed to help physically which would lead me in a downward spiral mentally after a few short weeks. BBD works with all ages and all athletic abilities. They require you to commit for the long haul. No more fads, no more trying to get skinny. It's about building a new and improved you from the inside out while also seeing physical results that follow. Fred has taught me a whole new way to workout that has given me so much more confidence than I thought possible. My only regret is not finding this place sooner! They really know their stuff especially when it comes to preventing injury and they work closely with you to modify the work out if you have preexisting injuries. This year I joined Fred's crew and he checked in frequently on my preexisting back and knee issues. We made sure to modify movements like lunges and dead lifts to movements that worked out the same muscle group but didn't aggravate my back and knees. Now that those muscle groups are much stronger I can do much more than I have ever been able to in the gym. The small group training format gives you the feel and attention of a personal trainer but is much more affordable. I moved away 3 years ago and when I came back I was at my heaviest I have ever been. BBD welcomed me back with open arms. I dropped a lot of weight, I feel better than ever, and I can't stop checking myself out in the mirror. I would give BBD 6 stars if I could.

I've improved not only my strength, but also my balance, stamina, and eating habits. When I started working with Sondra I had just finished my 3rd round of chemo. I had had breast cancer and several years later, uterine cancer. My diet had gotten really out of whack and I had gained about thirty pounds. In addition, my balance was terrible and I fell all the time. I had spent so much time in bed that I had very little strength or stamina. Our first year together was hard and I didn't always look forward to training. But I liked Sondra and actually began to enjoy our workouts! At first, I wasn't used to being challenged that way and I had gotten lazy. But something in me wanted to get stronger and fitter. I wanted her to be proud of me. I missed some workouts, but I kept at it. Today I'm not the same person. I look forward to workouts, and because Sondra is so knowledgeable, she knows how to keep me engaged. Now I hate to miss a session! I've lost all the weight I'd put on and am so much stronger and fitter, with better endurance. Sometimes it's hard for me to believe. I like the way I look and feel and I can do so much more than I once could. I plan to keep training with her. I think Sondra is the best! I recommend her unreservedly.

Holy squats! Her class is high energy, fun, and challenging! This should not be a deterrent!! Ana is a wonderful instructor; she's passionate, motivating, and keeps you on your toes. She watches all the newbies to make sure everyone is doing well. She is very interactive and will go to you mid-dance to correct your form and cheer you on. I don't think I've ever had am instructor like her. What's even more impressive (crazy), she teaches 16 classes a week and she never seems tired! I've tried her Zumba class, her 90 minute Saturday Zumba, and her Zumba toning classes and they were all fantastic. I think I'll wait to try the Insanity class until I'm sure I won't pass out. I can't really walk after the toning class, but that's how I know I had a great work out! Classes are $5 drop in rate and $45 for a 10 class punch card (the punch card never expires!). Classes are: Zumba MW 9:30am, 5:30pm, 6:45 pm; Zumba Toning TTh 9:30am and 6pm; Zumba F 9:30am; Zumba Sat 9:30-11. I don't have the schedule so I don't know when Insanity is scheduled. Yes, my daughter looked forward to her training, in the Texas heat, in July! Coach Bryson made her sessions enjoyable with his chill vibe (my daughter's words) and good-natured sense of humor. He made her laugh through the pain. LOL! After every session, she was pumped and confident! My daughter ended up receiving a lot of great college offers to play soccer, and she committed to her dream school! The facility was clean, and the coaches and other members were very friendly, making you feel right at home! You can tell the coaches really enjoy what they do. THE BLACK AND WHITE: I generally only come to this gym when my local gold's doesn't have a Golds Fit class and boy is this gyms class a good one. Dedicated space and good equipment. Rest of the gym includes the GGX cycle, gold's burn, yoga along with the countless machines and decent number of free weights. Tons of cardio machines ranging from treads to ellipticals to rowing machines. Bathrooms are relatively clean (as clean as a gym goes) and has a big sauna. THE FINAL BAMBOO: Overall a very nice gym with tons of machines and classes. I'm a sucker for the Golds Fit class and I'm glad this gym has a good one.

It took a lot of discipline for both of us, there were many days when he felt like he just wanted to nap or a break. Some days his asthma triggered bad but there's no excuse unless if he ran a fever. Mr. inhaler became his best friend. These are my Top Ten…read moreReasons I Love CoreSpeed & More with Sonia! 1) It gets me to lift weights that I otherwise would not do on my own 2) I get to keep up on toes and in rythm which i have not for more than a year. 3) It's totally reasonable when you sign up for a session 4) By signing up & paying for for a 6 week session, I've made a commitment to go so I'm much less likely to sit/fall asleep on the couch instead. (although she has arrangements for drop ins if that's your style) 5) It's a manageable commitment for a busy person as it's only 1 hour a day and it only takes me 5 minutes to get there! 6)Enjoy her playlist which she changes quit often which makes me more happy to dance for a new number. 7) It's great company. The classes are max 7 or 8, sometimes smaller, and generally all women. Lots of moms. Great conversation every time. 8) There's an on-line scheduler so it's easy to to check on your class for the day. 9) Sonia is a great person! 10) Sonia is an awesome trainer!
