Several years ago my family went through something very traumatic that left me holding on mentally for dear life. So physically I went downhill and gained a lot of weight. I tried other gyms and other trainers to help me out of my rut over the years. I tried many diets too. Nothing clicked. None of it helped physically AND mentally. It only seemed to help physically which would lead me in a downward spiral mentally after a few short weeks. BBD works with all ages and all athletic abilities. They require you to commit for the long haul. No more fads, no more trying to get skinny. It's about building a new and improved you from the inside out while also seeing physical results that follow. Fred has taught me a whole new way to workout that has given me so much more confidence than I thought possible. My only regret is not finding this place sooner! Holy squats! Her class is high energy, fun, and challenging! This should not be a deterrent!! Ana is a wonderful instructor; she's passionate, motivating, and keeps you on your toes. She watches all the newbies to make sure everyone is doing well. She is very interactive and will go to you mid-dance to correct your form and cheer you on. I don't think I've ever had am instructor like her. What's even more impressive (crazy), she teaches 16 classes a week and she never seems tired! I've tried her Zumba class, her 90 minute Saturday Zumba, and her Zumba toning classes and they were all fantastic. I think I'll wait to try the Insanity class until I'm sure I won't pass out. I can't really walk after the toning class, but that's how I know I had a great work out! Classes are $5 drop in rate and $45 for a 10 class punch card (the punch card never expires!). Classes are: Zumba MW 9:30am, 5:30pm, 6:45 pm; Zumba Toning TTh 9:30am and 6pm; Zumba F 9:30am; Zumba Sat 9:30-11. I don't have the schedule so I don't know when Insanity is scheduled. If you've ever been curious about Zumba, give Ana's classes a try. You won't regret it!

So you will always hone an area or machine freed up for you. My only complaints is that they blast booty rap really loud through the speakers. Like the loudest gym ever where you can barely hear the people at the front desk when speaking to them. Other times they will play butt rock which is just a tad more tolerable. Some may not survive without head phones. The men's bathroom is not the cleanest. Always smells. If you are a sauna user. It is also just mid. My other bigger complaint is that the heavy bags upstairs are unusable. They hung em on chains so high that they are pretty much unusable and they run into the ceiling frame. Kind of a safety issue on that part..... Other than that, better than most other gyms in this area of the price point

I've improved not only my strength, but also my balance, stamina, and eating habits. When I started working with Sondra I had just finished my 3rd round of chemo. I had had breast cancer and several years later, uterine cancer. My diet had gotten really out of whack and I had gained about thirty pounds. In addition, my balance was terrible and I fell all the time. I had spent so much time in bed that I had very little strength or stamina. Our first year together was hard and I didn't always look forward to training. But I liked Sondra and actually began to enjoy our workouts! At first, I wasn't used to being challenged that way and I had gotten lazy. But something in me wanted to get stronger and fitter. I wanted her to be proud of me. I missed some workouts, but I kept at it. Today I'm not the same person. I look forward to workouts, and because Sondra is so knowledgeable, she knows how to keep me engaged. Now I hate to miss a session! I've lost all the weight I'd put on and am so much stronger and fitter, with better endurance. Sometimes it's hard for me to believe. I've gone to other PT places before for other injuries and I hated that I didn't get fully dedicated time with my main PT. Many places will have physical therapists see 2-4 patients at a time so this time around, I wanted to find a place that did 1-1 individualized focused sessions. This is hard to come by but I had a friend of a friend recommend Hybrid Physical Therapy and so I decided to give it a try. I am so glad I found this place. I unfortunately got my injury 3 months before I was supposed to get married. I told Vinh my main goal was to be able to comfortably walk down the aisle and dance at my wedding. I was able to walk a lot sooner than I thought, danced all night and had the most amazing wedding day. Post wedding, I continued to work with Vinh to build back strength and I could have not done this without him. Vinh is so knowledgeable and really knows his stuff. I don't think I would have recovered as fast as I did if I didn't have that 1-1 time - it was a game changer! I also worked with Estefania a couple of times when Vinh was out and she was also really great and had amazing sessions with her. You can't go wrong with either of them!
