I love this place. The workers are amazing. I've been coming here for a few months now and Hotworx really pushed me to continue to work out. I love the classes. They have so many different ones so it doesn't really get boring. So I decided to buss a VERY legal UTURN to go check them out After meeting the lovely staff and interrupting their photography/social media day thingy they had going on for an unscheduled tour of the place, I signed up!! , I just moved from Houston a couple years ago and kept hearing about the benefits of "hot yoga" (that's how I found them on IG) and with the special they have going on, why not? **you MUST commit to 3 months, give a 2 month cancellation notice; they have a $99 cancellation option, and you can also put your account on hold for $9 a month for up tooooooo....I forgot, but they'll explain all that when you go up there! read more

Love love love HOTWORX!!! Cannot say enough great things about this place and the awesome folks that work there. If you are just curious of what the workouts are like, call up one of the girls and they will get you booked for a workout. Mat and towel are provided for your first workout although upon signing up you will be required to purchase these items to use in the saunas. Not gonna lie, my first workout there I couldn't handle the heat and had to walk out for a minute to regroup. But after going to a few classes your body (at least mine) got acclimated and now I crank it Up Up Up. The facility is super clean and you will often find the associates cleaning behind guests (certainly reassuring during these times). Masks are required when traveling between classes and upon entry and exit and MOST guest comply. If you (like myself) get bored with the same workouts week after week, with 10 different workouts - this place is fantastic! The only con is it is now pretty busy after the new year and when scheduling classes on the app, classes are booked extremely quick. read more

Be warned - Do Not sign any kind of membership agreement with this company. Their sales people get incentivized by signing members so they lie when signing people up. They will say whatever they need to to get you to sign up. In my case I told them I was moving and for that reason I wanted to go month by month so there was no membership to worry about and i would Just pay as i go. The salesperson told me not to worry and that I should sign up even if I was moving and to just let them know when i was cancelling and that would be fine to do if I signed up and that all I needed to do was let them know right before and it would be no problem. That is not the case at all. When I told them I was moving they said they could charge up to 90 days after I cancel or pay a huge cancellation fee. When I got upset about the misinformation i was told from the salesperson when I signed up and how the sales person got me to switch from month to month, paying upfront, which would not have any cancellation fee to signing on to this membership, they did not care. They blamed the salesperson and said that the salesperson was fired. Wait.... So you fired this person because they lied to members and now i have to deal with their bad employee's lies so they could make a bigger commission? Who knows how many other people they lied to. But this Hotworx is completely aware of this and they don't care. They don't care because they get their money and cheat the members who pay the price of it all. They told me ...sorry not my problem you should've read the fine print. Stay far away from this place. read more

I've had memberships with different gyms and this HOTWORX gym is my favorite. I love this HOTWORX location. The staff are so nice. I am an introvert and love the small class size (normally I am in class alone). The app they have is great to sign up for classes. The faculty is clean. The reviews about contracts is silly as all gyms have a cancellation policy and require notice (read the contract before signing). Going to HOTWORX has definitely helped with back pain and weight loss. read more

I just started a membership here and love it so far! If you have any questions about it, feel free to message me. I'm not affiliated with the company but happy to share info with you! Pros: * Variety of classes * One person max per sauna (because of COVID) * Working out in sauna environment feels great! * App to book classes ahead of time * Studio open 24/7 (but only staffed for part of the day) Cons: * Need to book your class ahead of time, and the most popular classes book quickly! * Video instructors (not in-person instructors) who cannot help you correct your form, and some of them don't give as detailed instruction on what to do/how to do it * Not staffed all hours so you may or may not feel safe working out while it's not staffed The phrase they use for marketing purposes is that there's a class that starts every 15 minutes so you'll be able to find one that meets your schedule. Technically that's true but it's only for a subset of 15 minute classes and the majority of them are actually available every 45 minutes. For example, the spin class is 15 minutes long and available every 15, but the Pilates and yoga classes are available to book every 45 minutes so they are not available as often. The membership rate is very reasonable - currently $59/month for unlimited classes - and you have to purchase a mat & towel from them which is currently $99. read more

I decided to try a class with a friend who has a membership. From the moment I walked in Lisa was very friendly & helpful (not pushy at all!). Jeremy one of the owners went out of his way to introduce himself; he was very genuine! I tried the cycle class and loved it. Came back for a core class and I was sold! I am a competitive athlete and love this unique way to detox, burn calories and gain strength in infrared heat. Also...only a 3 month commitment with freeze options etc. Love that! My first HOTWORX class today Liked it so much I did two classes -- Hot Iso and Hot Row. Classes are done in an Infrared Sauna and are super efficient for a more intense workout in less time. The sauna heat was very comfortable- even at 125 degrees. And I don't know that I've ever sweat so much. I must have lost a few pounds in just water weight, and I'm ok with that. Plus - I learned the infrared workouts are great for detoxification, anti-aging, sports recovery, weight loss and about a dozen benefits in total.. If you are curious- now is the time to sign up. They have a $10 special in the works and no annual contract! Since the RR location isn't open yet I tried the location in Montgomery, TX, but this preview center looks great and the convenient location on 79 is perfect for me. Hope nothing medically ever goes wrong. You contact this location to let them know they convince you to go to nine dollars a month and confusingly tell you you're covered through May 1 which you would assume covers you through May because you're billed on the first. Got billed for May Was planning on coming back but since they decided to charge me for all of May, I have to come in and pay a $99 cancellation fee. All this while being billed $60 a month for four months that I didn't walk into the studio. They don't care about you. They care about your money. I referred to people and they are going to cancel their membership at this specific studio. One of them I'm making sure they don't go to the studio. Wouldn't even take into consideration that I can't do anything strenuous and it took me a month to get over there to go sign something in writing. They don't care about the people they care about their money. read more

My experience, so far: CONS - Customer service is a big womp womp (so much so, that if they were staffed all day I would not consider joining. Definitely trying tkavoiding staffed hours, but am nervous about if/when something comes up.) What I mean by under par customer service: condescending attitude. Carelessness with COVID-19 measures (no mask, no social distancing, no evidence of frequent hand washing or disinfecting areas after themselves. Regardless of what your personal believes are, this behavior is simply bad for business). Also, omitting important aspects of joining like one week free or pressuring to buy things as if no other options exist. It felt like a bad car salesman experience with hard sells, annoyance in addressing customer questions, and rushing to close the deal. Overall the interaction was very uncomfortable and resulted in immediate lack of trust from the customer. - Facilities appear clean, but it a brand new facility and due to the carelessness displayed by the staff and my shaken peace of mind, I cleaned before and after my workout. Wipes are provided. - I also wonder how well facilities will be generally maintained past the grand opening weeks. I asked the question about how often the facilities are thoroughly cleaned (you know large amounts of sweat and stuff) but my question was ignored. Update: Things have much improved!!management is more mindful of wearing masks indoors (maybe the RR mandate helped). More importantly, I've not seen the person who originally gave me the tour. Every employee I've encountered thus far is friendly and very customer service oriented. I feel welcomed each time I come in and don't feel the need to work around their operating hours. I plan to remain a member for the foreseeable future! PROS -The workout is amazing! I cannot stress this enough! Five stars for the workout experience!!! - VERY close to home. 10 minute walking distance. - Perfect duration of workouts (15-30 minutes) so you can workout on your schedule! - Awesome variety of workouts with Virtual Trainer options if you want to focus on certain areas of the body OR the standard workouts that run on a cycle on the sauna TVs - 24 hour access with new workouts starting every fifteen minutes! -State of the art equipment and saunas! In sum, they need to grow their customer service approach and improve on their safety and cleanliness measures. COVID or no COVID, it is a gym and maintenance and cleanliness is super important. The workout sells itself! Stop selling so hard! Bring people in with friendly smiles. Give them some free stuff and a free session so that they can try it out and they'll stay! It appears as if they're trying to make up for lost revenue? but the hard sell approach and inflexibility is off putting and will definitely turn people away. At best, they're locking people in for a few months but, without improved service it will be incredibly difficult to create loyal customers or build a sustainable business. Put a mask on and stand six feet away. Help people feel comfortable inside of your facilities. No matter how good of a product you have, if people from all walks of life aren't comfortable going, they won't go! I really want to love this place and tell everyone I know about it! I actually liked going but want to hold during summer as it's very hot outside and being in a hotbox isn't great. They will not cancel my account, continue to charge and are insisting I come in to cancel. If I could make it in I'd still be working out there. They also NEVER told me this was part of the cancellation process. Went to my first free classes to try the very beginning of 2021 & joined the SAME DAY! Staff is Amazing nice, the saunas are ALWAYS clean. Staff will work you in a sauna if a "guest" doesn't show which is extremely helpful like today when I was in this icy traffic longer than expected. I LOVE this gym and will go no where else!
