If you are looking for a club that feels like family, with owners who truly support your child and want the very best for them, this is the place for you. Both of my daughters have played with Country Fire, and our experience has been nothing short of amazing. My older daughter played for six years and grew up in this program. She was taught solid fundamentals early on, and as she advanced, the training and competition grew with her. By her later years, her team was consistently competing in out-of-state qualifiers and national tournaments, exactly the type of high-level experience you would want for a serious athlete. The coaching has been top-notch at every level. At the younger ages, the focus on fundamentals gave my daughter the foundation she needed to succeed. As she moved into the higher age groups, the training was led by a Hall of Fame volleyball player who is also the club's coaching director. Their structured training format was key to her growth as a complete player. Organization and communication are also a huge strength of this club. Schedules are shared well in advance, with a detailed preseason calendar that makes it easy to plan family vacations and commitments. We've never had to guess what was coming -- everything is laid out clearly. What really sets Country Fire apart, though, is their focus on developing character along with athletic skills. The Christian values, team bonding, and off-the-court activities shaped my daughter into not only a stronger player but also a stronger person. Some people may think that focusing on these values might take away from competitiveness, but it does the opposite -- it builds complete athletes who are driven, resilient, and team-focused. The results speak for themselves. My older daughter was recruited through the club's one-on-one college recruiting help and has recently committed to play volleyball in college. My younger daughter is now beginning her second year in the club after coming up through CF's camps and clinics, and she is already growing tremendously by following in her sister's footsteps. This is not a "convenience club" -- it is a competitive, structured, and values-driven environment that has been life-changing for my girls. This was 4 years ago and we are now just ready to visit more about it. We had a similar experience to Brian and their family. Started out as a very good program. Daughter got selected via coach's tryout with coach Morgan only to have the team change coaches and ended up as a reserve player(for Coach Jason). She was right at the end of her freshman year, and that whole experience pretty much turned her off to volleyball for the rest of her career. School and club. A lot more favoritism and folks that have a history there more than judgment based on talent. Huge glimmers of hope. But would not recommend if you need stability or solid organization in a program. read more

This review is long overdue. I want to begin by acknowledging that Country Fire (CF) can be a positive starting point for introducing young children to the fundamentals of volleyball. Their beginner camps and early-stage programs offer a welcoming environment for that demographic. However, beyond that level, the shortcomings of the organization become apparent. Our family was with CF for four years, and while our first two years were relatively positive, the last two revealed significant concerns about the club's leadership, stability, and priorities. Over time, CF has experienced a noticeable decline. They have struggled to retain coaches, maintain teams, and deliver on the competitive environment they advertise. Two seasons ago, they had multiple teams per age group (two 17s, two 16s, two 15s, and one 14s). That year, one entire team quit mid-season, and in the following season they struggled to field even one team per age group. Half of our daughter's team quit after that season. We recommended she consider another club, but out of loyalty to her friends and coach, she stayed. Unfortunately, CF reassigned her coach to a different age group, leaving our team without a coach until just weeks before the season began. The coaches assigned to us were unprepared--at our first tournament, they delayed the start of a game because they did not know how to submit a lineup. Throughout the year, the coaching lacked consistency. The team used over 30 different lineups, and rather than following the competitive "play-to-win" approach we were promised, players were rotated equally regardless of ability or performance. Communication with the club director, Jason Tootles, was slow. Requests for private training often went unanswered for weeks, and when sessions were offered, they were at inconvenient times (e.g., 5:30 a.m.). In prior years, weekly private sessions with our coach were easy to schedule. When we asked for more diverse training experiences, the response from leadership was dismissive. In our experience, CF prioritizes convenience and cost-efficiency over individualized player development. They promote Christian values publicly but do not consistently uphold those values in practice. Certain families appear to receive preferential treatment, including mid-tournament coaching changes at their request, while others are ignored. From a competitive standpoint, CF rarely places teams in higher divisions or attends large, recognized tournaments. Instead, they often register for smaller, local events to reduce travel and expenses, which limits player exposure and development. Despite promoting their ability to help with college recruiting, during our time there not a single player advanced to college-level volleyball through their program--something competitive clubs routinely achieve. Finally, the leadership's professionalism is questionable. After our final season, my wife replied to a public social media post from a parent asking about club options, simply stating: "We are leaving CF after four years. If you'd like to hear our experience, feel free to DM me." No negative statements were made publicly. Within hours, Mr. Tootles sent my wife a text threatening to publicly disparage her and our daughter if he heard us speak negatively about the club. This was particularly disappointing given that he had ignored a previous message from her asking for clarification about our daughter's treatment. In summary, while Country Fire Volleyball Club may be a decent starting point for young players learning basic skills, it is not the place for athletes seeking a truly competitive, well-structured, and professionally managed environment. In our opinion, their priorities lie in protecting profits and convenience rather than fostering the long-term growth and success of their athletes. read more

Both of my daughters love being involved with Country Fire Volleyball. We started with camps, the Fall Fundamentals and ASA. Now they are looking forward to being a part of the club teams. We cannot say enough great things about the coaches, and the girls improvement. They are learning and improving, not just "getting the ball over the net". Their growth has been amazing. read more

I've been a member of the country fire volleyball community for a few years. I'm truly impressed with the coaches and facility. It's a truly family friendly environment where the coaches truly care about the kids and do an incredible job of teaching the kids advanced skills. My younger grandchild has been able to be competitive with kids a number of kids older than her. Her fifth grade team recently completed in a seventh grade team tournament and won a bronze metal. Their skills were as good or better than many of the other teams. If you want a place for your kids to learn and get great at volleyball and feel cared for, this is the place. read more

CFV offers a lot of camps. Some even free! These camps are perfect as an introduction for the young kids (both boys and girls). Every camp is different. The coaches do a great job with their variety of exercises. I've seen improvement in skills. Most importantly, kids love coming back! read more

We attended a volleyball tournament at Country Fire this past weekend that was impressively well-organized and ran right on schedule. There was plenty of friendly staff assisting from parking, to check in and throughout the schedule of games. The venue boasted a very nice design, including a snack bar/kitchen and was impeccably clean. The teams were evenly matched, bringing a great competitive energy to the games.
