Robert was professional, polite, and honest. We asked for a couple of extra handyman type repairs and he recommended other source since it is not his expertise. I appreciated his honesty. The job took about a week because he also painted my patio cover and replaced an exterior door. He takes pride in his work which results in high quality and a beautiful result at a reasonable price. The gentleman on the phone said the transmission fluid is for life unless I'm towing or carrying heavy loads. When I questioned why I see that it's recommended online he says that dealers will recommend this service all day but if you check the Toyota maintenance manual it says you don't need it. Man! I haven't even been to this shop yet and I'm already getting a good feeling about this place. It's a bit more expensive for an oil change than other places that have quoted me, but I like that they use factory parts including Toyota oil filters. I'll update this review once I get the car in for my first visit. Stay tuned.... 6/29/26 - Brought my Sienna in for an oil change + complimentary 30-point inspection (since it was my first time there). Jared took the van for a spin, brought it back and lifted it up. They found a little oil seepage coming out of the transfer case. I let them know that I did see a transfer case drain/fill on the CarFax report before I bought it. Jared thinks they just didn't torque it properly so they were going to retorque and clean up around the area and keep an eye on it. Worst case scenario, they would need to order a new drain plug gasket and I'd have to come back to get it replaced. Thankfully, the drain plug just needed to get tightened. I was in and out in almost exactly an hour just as Robert promised. Thanks The Toy Shop team!! Pro Tip: they are booked out at least a week in advanced so make your appointment ASAP!

I found Francis through an online search because of the many positive reviews, and during our first interaction he was friendly, professional, and seemed very knowledgeable. He ordered the part directly from Acura and quoted me a fair price. My car was ready the following day, but when I arrived to pick it up, Francis informed me that my vehicle had been involved in an accident while in his care. He explained that another driver had been speeding through the parking lot and crashed into him. He gave me the other driver's information, and I contacted him immediately. The other driver gave a very different version of events. He stated that he was backing out of a parking space and did not see Francis. He also told me that Francis provided his driver's license information but refused to share insurance information. Now, more than a month later, I still have a damaged vehicle and have not received insurance information from Francis despite multiple phone calls, text messages, and outreach from Mercury Insurance. I trusted this shop to take care of my car, not return it to me in worse condition and leave me responsible for a $500 deductible. What has been most disappointing is the lack of accountability and urgency. Francis acted as though this situation was not a major concern and repeatedly assured me that the other driver would "take care of it," which has not happened. According to the other driver, Francis even asked him to change the story about what happened. I chose this business because of its strong reviews and the image Francis presents, but my experience has been extremely stressful and disappointing. I believe customers deserve honesty, transparency, and responsibility when their vehicle is in someone else's care.

When I called and asked about my car, Ray was patient with my questions had some very good ones of his own. Then gave me a rough idea of what it could be. Once he got it within a short time he was able to find what the problem was and gave me a fair quote with options that could come up. He had simple and technical answers so I got to know my car better. The repair was done and when something came up he checked with me and gave me options to save money or what is best to do next. The guys that work with him have such a love for the job. The employee who brought my car up was so excited about my car and talked about all the cool things it was and thanked me for bringing it in. On May 22, I dropped my truck off at a prearranged time at the dealer to have some scratches and dings that happened on the lot fixed. I was assured this would be a quick turnaround. When Ken Grody tried to return the truck to me, it looked worse than when I initially dropped it off, there were multiple very visible defects in the paint that were not present before. This is a brand new vehicle by the way. They sent it to the body shop a second time. It came back to the dealership with more of the same defects. It went back to the body shop a third time. It came back to the dealership tonight, several days short of a month since I dropped it off initially. The body shop forgot to fix an entire area. Now it's going back to the body shop a fourth time. I've already made a payment on the vehicle and haven't even been able to drive it. On top of that: Since my initial negative review of this experience, I have been receiving threatening phone calls and text messages that are clearly coming from someone who works for Ken Grody Ford and wants to intimidate me into removing my review. I've never ever experienced anything in my life. It's shocking to say the least and my hope is that nobody else has to suffer through anything like this just because they decided to buy a vehicle from Ken Grody Ford.
