The are clear and up -front about investigating and fixing the issues. They explain the options in an understandable way. And, we have found them very affordable and friendly. Every. Single. Sam was very honest. I brought in a car that the dealership was unable to fix the issue with the brakes. He told me that the new ABS unit was leaking therefore not holding pressure because one of the lines installed by the dealership mechanic was cross-threaded. Once corrected, Sam replaced the master cylinder and sensor, bled the system three times, and viola! Go here for all your auto repair needs. Pricing was also right on point. read more

My family has been taking our cars here for years. I have moved to Northern California and I STILL bring my car here. I visit multiple times a year. So I am still able to bring my car here when it needs anything. read more

First time here with my car and I don't think I will be going anywhere else. Speedy and honest job. The prices here are super reasonable and for the service I received I thought I would be paying more. I went in initially for a brake pad replacement (what i thought i needed) and left with that and new rotors that were necessary! Thank you for keeping my car safe read more

We recently moved to the area and needed a good mechanic. We tried Best Auto based on their reviews and couldn't be happier. Smooth, thorough and professional, Sammy and Fransisco are two A+ guys. My Jeep had a mess of issues and they were there every step using only genuine factory parts, no aftermarket or cheap "quick" fixes here. Best part is I didn't have to break my bank here, prices were fair and work was done reasonably quick. 10/10 Would go and will go back for any and all my auto care and repairs, thanks guys! -Jericho read more

I've been going to Best Auto Care for years. Sam is a good honest mechanic. He will explain what's needed and show you the problem if he can, so that you can fully understand. When I got a new car I thought I needed to to go to a new shop, as it aged i slowly came to realize that this big name shop didn't have my best interest in mind, only my money. I went crawling back to Sam with my tail between my legs. He was gracious and understanding. Looking for a mechanic can be intimidating for many, but if you're looking for a mechanic you can trust and does good work, give Best Auto Care a try! read more

Sam and Francisco had taken care of my 3 family vehicles for about 17 years. I can't think of any other place to go for car repair needs. If you are looking for an honest mechanic shop, you found it. Best Auto Care is the only place I'll take my car. The Owner, Sam, is the most honest mechanic I've ever had. He gives great, fast and efficient service. He treats his customers like family. This is for the experience I had with this place back in 2007. Yup, we were fresh off the boat and just bought our very first car in our entire life. (you do not need a car in asia). We took our car here for an post-purchase inspection. They lie through their teeth on the inspection report. Our car doesnt have a "fan belt", it has electric radiator fans. Guess what they wrote on the inspection report. Yup...fan belt needs to be replace..... read more

Very unhelpful and rude staff (especially the owner). Seems he was more interested in closing up shop when there was still about 20 more minutes till closing instead of assisting a customer with a quite simple request regarding an OIL CAP! Definitely wouldn't recommend this place at all . A**holes run this establishment... read more

The most honest auto repair shop ever. The BMW dealership wanted to charge me over $1000 for front and rear brake pads and rotors and Sam got it for $650 with better service and care and told me I didn't even need an oil change and I could wait a couple more months. Will definitely only come to him going forward. read more

The best auto repair shop in OC, hands down. I have been taking my cars for regular maintenance and repairs at Best Auto Care for years. Sam is a great, experienced mechanic and best of all he's a very honest person that offers a 5 star service. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my cars. A good example of the kind of service you get at Best Auto Care: I had a check engine light on my BMW, in Sam was able to diagnose the problem order all the right parts and complete the service in no time for a great price that is probably half what the dealer would have charged me. I can't say enough to tell how pleased and extremely satisfied I am every time I have to service my cars at Best Auto Care. read more

I've been bringing my cars to Best Auto Care for years now and should have posted this review sooner. It's not very often you are blessed to have a great mechanic. Sam is as straight forward and honest a mechanic you will find. He always tells you what the problem is, what are your options and what the cost is upfront. He will always get your okay first before making any fixes. Sam and his assistant Francisco always provide the friendliest customer service. We have 2 older cars a 2001 Mitsubishi and 2004 Honda and both run great since Sam started making all the repairs and have not to worry about replacing them with a newer car. We have saved lots of $$$$ money. read more

My car was bought at 108k miles this year, and it has been nothing but problems. I took my car to three separate mechanics for one problem (clutch flywheel swap) and had my own parts purchased on "offer up". The parts were damaged and not safe to use, and Sam let me know and ordered me new parts the same day, the car was turned around in a weekend with several other problems solved and diagnosed for the next stop (control arms, bushings, motor mounts, ect). Basically, I brought a storm of problems here and I got excellent help, my car runs great now, and I walked out with a smile. I paid considerably less than the competing mechanics and I will be coming back regularly (hopefully not because I have to) but as my car needs work I only trust one shop now to do the best job at the best price. read more

Best auto care? More like worse auto care. Me and my buds trucks blew a tire and we had no jack to change our spare. We asked the manager if he can help us change our spare by using his jack. He agreed only if we payed $15. So we agreed however once he started helping us he started cussing us out and told us to get off his property. Honestly we have no idea what made him snap at us but it lost him customers...... read more
