I was going to this location and having 2 of my cars serviced here for about a year. I usually always brought my own oil and filter and had them perform the labor. My most recent visit, I had brought my Mercedes and had them perform labor only for an oil change, they charged me $70! For only labor which was ridiculous mainly because I had my other vehicle serviced for an oil change and had them use there products and was charged $80. Will never come back again. read more

Everyone that works here is awesome. Im always treated well and this is one of the few places you can leave your car without having some salesmen try to take advantage of you. Whether you know about cars or not, these guys will take care of you and be honest. Their mechanics Julian and Miguel are smart, fast and detail oriented. I used to go to other shops but always ended up with small finicky problems. Ive been going to this shop for 3 years now and every service has been perfect. Dont try to haggle with these guys on price, their pricing is always fair and honest and if you call around you will find its correct and backed by quality. Im sure you can call enough shops and eventually find a cheaper price, but you will get crap work and pay twice. These pricing here is backed by one and done work. Their turn around time can vary based on how packed you see their parking lot or how extensive the jobs are that are ahead of you. If its an oil change and tire rotation ive had them squeeze me in between jobs to get me going. If you bring your car for a very technical job and they need extra time to get it done, let them! Been coming here since I can remember! Unfortunately I used to always go to places that would damage or didn't care about my car. Finding community service auto repair three years ago has been the best thing I ever did! They continually take care of my cars. I'm here monthly for basic maintenance service with no wait! Community Auto Repair Service not only LIED ABOUT THE SERVICES I NEEDED but they also DAMAGED MY CAR. I came here to get my car inspected for some maintenance and get a SMOG check. They did a diagnosis and found several things that needed to get fixed that sounded reasonable at the time but they kept calling and calling about more and more things they supposedly found. Determined to get the SMOG check done and passed I said yes to the repairs. There were a few general maintenance items that needed to be done as well. Among them was replacing the brake pads. Fast forward a few months later and I'm hearing screeching noises when I brake and vibrations throughout the car. It didn't happen all the time but it was very shaky when it did. Concerned, I went to another mechanic to get new tires and also have them check the brake pads. They called me, telling me that the brake pads were not installed properly and were not fixed in place, they were moving around. The rotors were damaged because of this. It's important you avoid CAR for at least two reasons: they will tell you to get more repairs done, they will charge you a lot for those repairs, they will PURPOSEFULLY DAMAGE YOUR CAR, and I suspect if you go back they will have something new for them to fix and charge you more. Or, they have inexperienced and subpar technicians. I can't believe a small business would be so shady. Do yourself a favor and choose any another business but this one. They are criminals. read more
