He took the time to explain how my tailgate and its different components worked, even printing out a diagram for me so I could clearly understand my options. We discussed ways to prevent my tailgate from being tampered with or stolen in the future, and he explained what would be my best options based on safety, longevity, and cost-effectiveness. He took time after I had already left to research the right parts that would achieve what I wanted without unnecessarily driving up the cost. It's the behind the scenes work like this that I appreciate the most. His recommendations were confident and knowledgeable, but I never once felt pressured. For example, Francisco let me know that I needed an oil change, but he never tried to push me into getting one that day. He understood that my immediate concern was the tailgate, and he respected that. I was actually the one who asked whether he performed oil changes. Suffice it to say, I'll be skipping Valvoline this time and bringing my truck back to Francisco and Pearl. Pearl made sure I was comfortable while I waited and offered me full bottles of either cold or room-temperature water. That may sound like a small detail, but it meant so much more than meets the eye. Those thoughtful touches are what separate businesses that genuinely care about their customers from places that make you feel like just another person in an assembly line of others who need help too. Pearl is such a warm, personable person, and making conversation with her was genuinely lovely. I'm currently in a tight spot financially, and both Francisco and Pearl were sensitive to that without ever making me feel embarrassed or treating me differently. I never felt like a dollar sign. I was treated with dignity and given the same time, care, and respect as anyone else who walked through the door. As a woman, I've experienced a sexist gap in how I'm treated when dealing with automotive work. I've had unnecessary services pushed on me, been ignored when asking questions, or been made to feel like I shouldn't try to understand what was being done to my truck. That was absolutely not my experience here. Francisco explained everything clearly, answered my questions, and made sure I understood my choices. It's impossible not to feel safe and taken care of when he is working on your vehicle and walking you through your options. When I recently noticed a problem with my radio, I immediately called FNP to ask whether Francisco could look at it when I return to have a safety guard installed on my tailgate. He added it to my notes, and now I can let go of that worry knowing he'll examine it and tell me honestly what the best next step is. Their administrative workflow has been perfected to allow for notes like this, quotes being sent and accepted/denied, etc. The process is smooth, start to finish. I have never had a better experience with an auto repair shop. Francisco and Pearl truly went above and beyond. Trust me: you will not regret going to FNP. I had already purchased an OEM replacement handle from an authorized Honda parts dealer, and initially planned to have the dealership install it. However, the dealership quoted me a very high labor cost and required me to leave my car overnight due to their busy schedule. After doing some research, I found Action Auto in Cypress and spoke with Mark. From the very first phone call, Mark was friendly, professional, and transparent. Best of all, his quote was about half the price of what the dealership wanted to charge. The convenience was a huge bonus. They told me I could bring my car in anytime between 8am-5pm (and even Sundays 8am-3pm). I dropped off my car at 8:30am, and it was ready by lunchtime the same day. On top of that, they even offered a complimentary shuttle ride home--something the dealership no longer provides. The entire experience was smooth and stress-free. Mark's customer service was outstanding both over the phone and in person. The shop itself was clean and well-organized, and I noticed several repeat customers while I was there, which says a lot about their reputation. Back in August my car stopped going in reverse and I knew it was time to replace transmission. I message around to a few vendors on YELP. Most of the vendors were were asking for double or tripled the amount for rebuilding transmission. Daniel suggested buying an used transmission which cut down on the costs significantly. Once I had the car dropped off he was constantly updating me with texts/photos of the car status. I also had him replace the real main seal (since transmission is already out) and replace the motor mounts (transmission and engine) and control arms with ball joints. They also tested the used transmission to make sure it held up. They were able to do all that work in 2 days. The car needed to run a while to break in the new/"used" transmission. Daniel and his team did an excellent job with the repair work, communication, and the pricing. The pricing was quite reasonable (Daniel did let me know ahead of time the pricing/quotes for potential work). I would take my current and future cars to him for any repair work. My previous go-to mechanic tripped me with a quote of $575 for the valve gasket cover replacement (I assumed they meant the entire thing, not the rubber seal). So I went to this place due to reasonable prices. Their labor prices are also more competitive. The only downsize is that they don't do appointment. Otherwise; so far so good.

He ordered the part directly from Acura and quoted me a fair price. My car was ready the following day, but when I arrived to pick it up, Francis informed me that my vehicle had been involved in an accident while in his care. He explained that another driver had been speeding through the parking lot and crashed into him. He gave me the other driver's information, and I contacted him immediately. The other driver gave a very different version of events. He stated that he was backing out of a parking space and did not see Francis. He also told me that Francis provided his driver's license information but refused to share insurance information. Now, more than a month later, I still have a damaged vehicle and have not received insurance information from Francis despite multiple phone calls, text messages, and outreach from Mercury Insurance. I trusted this shop to take care of my car, not return it to me in worse condition and leave me responsible for a $500 deductible. What has been most disappointing is the lack of accountability and urgency. Francis acted as though this situation was not a major concern and repeatedly assured me that the other driver would "take care of it," which has not happened. According to the other driver, Francis even asked him to change the story about what happened. I chose this business because of its strong reviews and the image Francis presents, but my experience has been extremely stressful and disappointing. I believe customers deserve honesty, transparency, and responsibility when their vehicle is in someone else's care.

They noticed my hybrid battery cooling fan was missing after I told them I just had it "replaced" at another shop. That's the kind of information you don't usually get from a repair shop. They ended up not needing to drop the subframe, so they adjusted the labor instead of charging me for work they didn't have to do. It still took the amount of time they said it was going to take, but still discounted me a little bit which I thought was cool. I also had them do an oil change while it was there, and even that was less expensive than what I normally pay at places like Jiffy Lube or Valvoline. If you own a Prius or any hybrid, I'd definitely recommend checking them out. More than anything, I left feeling like they genuinely know these cars and took the time to educate me, not just fix it. I'm so thankful ChatGPT directed me to Tire Outlet. The moment I pulled into the parking lot, I was greeted with smiles and employees who were eager to help. The manager personally took care of me, and from the very beginning, everyone was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. The speed of service really impressed me. About a year ago, I brought my car to a different tire shop in Fullerton for another leaky tire and ended up waiting 2 1/2 hours before anyone even looked at my car. Today's experience couldn't have been more different. While I relaxed in Tire Outlet's clean, comfortable waiting lounge and got some work done on my laptop, they had everything taken care of in about 15 minutes. Then came the biggest surprise of all. They told me my tire didn't need to be replaced after all--they were able to fix it easily by hand. And when I went to pay, they insisted on not charging me anything. I was about two hours from home, and ended up with a hole in my tire that needed fixing before I could drive back. They told me to arrive by 6:30 p.m. since they closed at 7, and I got there just in time. While the actual replacement process was smooth and the tires look fine, I only found out from the paperwork afterward that they were supposedly "balanced". Unfortunately, the car hasn't been driving right since. The steering feels off, it's jerky, and turns are more difficult than they should be. Clearly, something is wrong with the balancing or the installation. I'm concerned that because I arrived so close to closing time, the job may have been rushed. If they can't do a thorough job that late in the day, they really should stop taking new customers earlier rather than rushing through the work. In short, while the staff was accommodating in terms of timing, the end result was that my car doesn't drive properly now. For that reason, I wouldn't go back.

After inspecting it, he identified damage (caused by rats) to the transmission wiring harness, which had unfortunately caused internal damage. Throughout the entire process, Ed was easy to communicate with, always professional, and genuinely helpful with his advice. What really stood out was how he went above and beyond after the repair. I was told this type damage might be covered under my comprehensive auto insurance. Because of his effort and experience, the claim was approved and the repair ended up being fully covered. That level of service is rare these days. When I questioned why I see that it's recommended online he says that dealers will recommend this service all day but if you check the Toyota maintenance manual it says you don't need it. Man! It's a bit more expensive for an oil change than other places that have quoted me, but I like that they use factory parts including Toyota oil filters. Stay tuned.... 6/29/26 - Brought my Sienna in for an oil change + complimentary 30-point inspection (since it was my first time there). Jared took the van for a spin, brought it back and lifted it up. They found a little oil seepage coming out of the transfer case. I let them know that I did see a transfer case drain/fill on the CarFax report before I bought it. Jared thinks they just didn't torque it properly so they were going to retorque and clean up around the area and keep an eye on it. Worst case scenario, they would need to order a new drain plug gasket and I'd have to come back to get it replaced. Thankfully, the drain plug just needed to get tightened. I was in and out in almost exactly an hour just as Robert promised. Thanks The Toy Shop team!! Pro Tip: they are booked out at least a week in advanced so make your appointment ASAP!

Hello, I'm been dragging my feet on getting this done. I was at your shop on June 23,2017 and the service person that assisted me, Mike was awesome. First of all when he answered the phone he was so professional. His voice made me feel that I was going to get the best service possible. I told him what the problem was and that I needed to bring the car there because I was afraid it was maybe my water pump. I told him I didn't have a way back and he said "no problem" we can take you back to work(St Jude). He was in a meeting most of the morning and I was pretty anxious because I wanted it fixed before my husband and I were to leave town. He made several calls around because the car is a Suzuki Verona and they have very few places/parts that we can get. He finally found the part and when I called him that afternoon he said the car was fixed. Praise God. I had such a wonderful experience at this Pep Boys. Something was wrong with my brakes. Came here to get it fixed. Cost me about $160. 1 Month Later......same issue with the brakes. Took it to a different place. They told me that whoever "tried" to fix my brakes pretty much had no clue what they were doing. Had to get the brakes fixed so I took the part back to Pep boys to show them. They laughed right in my face telling me all sorts of excuses. Fortunate for me, I brought a friend with me who fixes up cars for a living. He told me that he had never heard soo much BS in his life. Anyways, I asked for a refund. After fighting with the guy for about 30 minutes, the manager walked away and told me to get lost. I called the cops and I got my refund. Discount tire and many other tire companies use a separate company named FixGo, which I used to purchase and schedule a tire install. My step dad goes in and the person at the counter is giving him a really hard time saying there is no order, and he didnt order the tire through them so they can't help him. Only to eat his own words later saying, oh it's in the system. Don't go to this location, they hire people of low IQ here for sure.

Shortly after leaving the facility, the vehicle began jerking, losing power, and displaying multiple warning lights, including a P2101 Electronic Throttle Control System malfunction. The vehicle became unsafe to operate and required emergency diagnosis and repair. I submitted my service records, diagnostic information, invoices, photographs, and videos to Valvoline's claims department for review. Unfortunately, my claim was denied. My concern remains that intake-related components were accessed during the service even though I only authorized an oil change. I requested clarification regarding the work performed and the basis for the claim denial. I encourage customers to carefully review their vehicles after service and retain all documentation should any issues arise. This experience resulted in significant inconvenience, unexpected repair expenses, and a lengthy claims process.

All fluids topped off, tire pressure set correctly. Everything was inputted to my carfax. We drove in and out in 15 mins. Full synthectic oil change was about $130. There are local coupons you can use. Yelp check in saves more than a local coupon. Zero pressure to do extras. I know I needed an air filter because its been a while. I ended up getting one. This is a great alternative when you dont want to make a dealer trip. Its close to home and opens early and closes late. Ask for Eddie.
