I have been searching the website for a good, used JDM engine for my 2011 Prius. Nick was the first to call and follow up with me. He hooked me up with a clean motor and provided free local shipping. The motor arrived at my garage and after inspecting the spark plugs and the oil, I was impressed with how clean it was. Even the electric water pump and ignition coils were in great shape, I decided to keep them intact. I installed the engine myself with new fluids and few gaskets and seals. The car started as expected and has been running smoothly so far.

Rear bumper fit perfect didn't switch out the trunk but color matched perfectly

Called a few places for a Miata trunk and bumper the guys here gave me the best price. Gabriel helped me out and went through the trouble of letting me pick the best one out of a big lot of Miata parts and was friendly. Definitely recommend this place.

Best customer service in the motor swap industry. Finally someone understands the business. STEVE is the man!!! Motor blew out doing some canyon runs. In the search for an F23A. (Locally) I was looking for someone to deliver since this is my only car... Steve was extremely helpful in every way. Since this covid-19 is going around. He managed to take the time to send videos and pictures of the motor. F23A compression Test 240PSI across the board. Just by those text and delivery service. I was sold. Say no more Steve! Please TAKE MY MONEY! NEXT DAY SERVICE! Oh yeah guess what?! They drove 40 miles up north to drop off the motor for me. Best money can buy. Took me 2 days to install the motor into my car. This is my 4th swap onto the car. The cleanest used motor I've ever installed. You guys got my business. Thank you Steven and IchibanJDM.

If I could rate this place a 0 I would they gave me a old engine and it cracked when I was about 2 but it on I told them bc I have 90 warranty they tried saying I broke it and dropped it I show them pic of no other damages and they still wanted me 2 pay half so please don't buy from this company they are a waist of time and money

Was out for the day looking for a 1.8 L Miata engine and the owner was rude af! He cleans, paints them and they look nice but may be shit on the inside. When you ask him about numbers he gets all offended and wants you to pay before any tests are done! Save your time, money, and attitude you get from this guy and go to JDM West Coast. Way better customer service!!

My Shitbox 4Runner and JDM engine before installed.

Picked up a 5VZFE literally 1 year ago for my 1996 Toyota 4Runner. Put about 10k miles on it since and have had no issues what so ever. I would trust my engine to drive to New York if I had to. Thanks Chris and his tech Ruben. They gave me a damn good deal installed. I recommend these guys and would return for another engine for my FJ when the time comes.

Visiting Mr. Wayne at Dr. Detail was an amazing experience. I have lived across the street since…read morethe store opened but never stopped in due to a false belief that they only catered to professional detailers and car wash businesses. My black ten-year-old car was definitely starting to show its age. Despite car washes every other week, waxes every month, and attempts at hand polishing, the clearcoat was starting to oxidize and the paint was looking tired. I had gotten quotes for paint correction from a few mobile detailers and businesses ranging from $400 to $600 depending on how far I wanted to go with the restoration. Wayne greeted me from his corner office and after two minutes of me trying to explain my concern he was outside with a bar of clay, a spray detailer, and some compound. My main concern was that the clear coat on my car was too thin and that any further attempts at "cutting" or abrasive polishing would wear down the paint. Mr. Wayne assured me that I had plenty of clearcoat left and proceeded to test a small portion of the hood, bringing it back to a nice shine in a few minutes. The entire time he was educating me on products and methods on how I could achieve this in an afternoon with the right tools and supplies. After going back in the store, Wayne lined up products for me on the counter but I NEVER once felt any sales pressure. Hesitantly, I even mentioned that I had some Meguires polish at home and Wayne recommended that I use a Meguires compound as it will work best as a system. Normally, this type of comment would yield an irritated response from seasoned shop owners, but not in the case of Dr. Detail. He recommended that I purchase a dual-action polisher from Harbor Freight despite having a wall full of them in his store. He then even coached me on which pads to use with which product and the method by which I should hold and maneuver the polisher over the panels of my car. In the end, I left his store with only a bar of clay, a spray detailer, glass cleaner, but most importantly the knowledge and confidence that I could tackle this job on my own. Cut to this past weekend, after about four hours of pretty tiring work my car looks better than it has in YEARS. It most certainly isn't a show car but those were never my expectations for my daily driver. I was able to remove 90% of the oxidation from my hood and roof and attribute the remaining 10% to my own user error with the products and tools. We need more shop owners like "Dr." Wayne, he is a wealth of knowledge and I look forward to seeing him again soon!

What I appreciate most is how they treat you like a person, not just another customer walking through the door. They are friendly, patient, knowledgeable, and always willing to take the time to listen and help. Every time I've needed assistance, they've made me feel comfortable asking questions and have gone out of their way to make sure I was taken care of. Josh, Noah, and Rocio each bring their own personality and warmth to the store, but they all have one thing in common: they genuinely care about providing a good experience. Their professionalism and kindness are the reason I feel confident coming back to this AutoZone. I really appreciate everything they've done for me. Great customer service can make a huge difference, especially when you're dealing with something as stressful as car problems.
