Nobody locallyis more knowledgeable about automotive detailing than Doc Wayne! Professional-grade supplies, even if you're a DIY'er will make a huge difference in labor saving and final results, and Wayne won't sell or upsell you on something you don't need. I find it much better to get an in-person sense of what I need versus guessing about something online read more

Came in day after Christmas for some interior cleaners. Surprised he was open during the holiday and rainy season. I'm not the most knowledgable about cleaning/detailing and he gladly took time to inform me about cleaners, how to use them, and maintain my microfibers. He truly cares about his customers and making sure they leave with the right supplies and knowledge they need. Let me mention his prices are great as-well! read more

Wayne provided me a wealth of information and is knowledgeable and you can tell he loves what he does. I walked out with a several items from his shop and now beautified my van last night. What a kind man and so easy to deal with, no sales pressure at all. Thank you so much. Take care. read more

Visiting Mr. Wayne at Dr. Detail was an amazing experience. I have lived across the street since the store opened but never stopped in due to a false belief that they only catered to professional detailers and car wash businesses. My black ten-year-old car was definitely starting to show its age. Despite car washes every other week, waxes every month, and attempts at hand polishing, the clearcoat was starting to oxidize and the paint was looking tired. I had gotten quotes for paint correction from a few mobile detailers and businesses ranging from $400 to $600 depending on how far I wanted to go with the restoration. Wayne greeted me from his corner office and after two minutes of me trying to explain my concern he was outside with a bar of clay, a spray detailer, and some compound. My main concern was that the clear coat on my car was too thin and that any further attempts at "cutting" or abrasive polishing would wear down the paint. Mr. Wayne assured me that I had plenty of clearcoat left and proceeded to test a small portion of the hood, bringing it back to a nice shine in a few minutes. The entire time he was educating me on products and methods on how I could achieve this in an afternoon with the right tools and supplies. After going back in the store, Wayne lined up products for me on the counter but I NEVER once felt any sales pressure. Hesitantly, I even mentioned that I had some Meguires polish at home and Wayne recommended that I use a Meguires compound as it will work best as a system. Normally, this type of comment would yield an irritated response from seasoned shop owners, but not in the case of Dr. Detail. He recommended that I purchase a dual-action polisher from Harbor Freight despite having a wall full of them in his store. He then even coached me on which pads to use with which product and the method by which I should hold and maneuver the polisher over the panels of my car. In the end, I left his store with only a bar of clay, a spray detailer, glass cleaner, but most importantly the knowledge and confidence that I could tackle this job on my own. Cut to this past weekend, after about four hours of pretty tiring work my car looks better than it has in YEARS. It most certainly isn't a show car but those were never my expectations for my daily driver. I was able to remove 90% of the oxidation from my hood and roof and attribute the remaining 10% to my own user error with the products and tools. We need more shop owners like "Dr." Wayne, he is a wealth of knowledge and I look forward to seeing him again soon! read more

So after watching enough YouTube I decided that detailing my own car was within my capabilities. Autozone and Walmart trips left me more confused as to what to do for the project I had at hand. Luckily this shop came up and I paid it a visit. I was greeted by Wayne, who I can only assume is the owner for this shop. Wayne is down to earth, easy to talk to and knowledgeable as hell about the products he carries. He guided me through the supplies I needed, and the stuff I didn't need. I left with the products I needed to get the job done on my project and found an awesome shop at the same time. This store is the kind of small business that you imagine when you think "small business" and that is a great thing. You get the knowledge of someone who knows what he is talking about without all of the gimmicks. Could you find the prices lower elsewhere ? Maybe. But only marginally so. Stores like this are more than just getting your crap and leaving, especially for a novice. I'll be coming back again soon as the need arises and I'm sure I'll be learning something I couldn't learn on YouTube university. read more

I'm sold. I come here to buy my supplies. It's far from my house but he has something I love when I detail my bikes. Highly recommend this place. read more

Plus I love detailing and Wayne is great to talk too . Thanks Wayne for the help and see you real soon . Wayne has a wax museum which is very cool, has a lot of very old polishes and waxes and it's his own meguiars classic line collection read more

For anyone wondering, this is NOT a detailing service. What this shop sells, is detailing supplies and oh boy, is it the best (and only). So there I was buying a new car 2 weeks ago, staring at her in all her glory until I realized the worst. She was dirty. Damn dirty. I needed help, serious help. Maybe I'll take it to a car wash? Maybe I'll pay a mobile detailer? Or maybe... One Google search later I found this place and decided that I was going to detail my brand new car myself. I show up at the show and am gleefully greeted by the owner, who couldn't be more helpful and courteous. I told him that I was completely inexperienced in auto detailing and that I wanted to get a "starter kit" if you will. He explained each and every product that I would need, how to use it, what to use it with, and a bunch of other stuff I kinda zoned out on. But hey, I knew he knew his stuff so I trusted him. This is a man who truly appreciates his craft. The prices were pretty cheap, especially since I can wash my car at least 10-15 times and full detail it about 5 times with all the goods I bought which ended up costing me around 150 dollars. If anyone's had their car detailed before, that's usually the price of ONE detail. Anyways, if you're a professional detailer or the average Joe who wants to dip their feet into the auto detailing world, then there is no better place to start with than Dr. Detail. Overall: good prices, good service, good communication, and good products. Stop looking at that filthy excuse of a car and head here now. read more

After making the mistake of not washing off bird poop off my car immediately, there were brown stains that the car wash I go to couldn't wipe off. I was devastated and kicking myself in the rear. My poor white car now had about two dozen blemishes on it courtesy of the rats of the sky. Well my luck changed when I found Dr.Detail on Yelp. Drove up to his store and met the good doctor himself, he did a couple of test runs from the mildest chemicals up. Found one that took off my stain and I was sold. Some elbow grease and a microfiber towel later the hood of my car looks like a teenager without acne now. All for less than $20. Thank you Dr.Detail. read more

This is the place for driveway detailers and pros! Stopped by today to check this place out. Have been purchasing items from the usual: amazon.com, autogeek.com, Walmart... I would rather spend my $$$ here. Bought a couple of micro-fiber drying towels and I will be back. Complete product offering, excellent prices, friendly place and excellent advise. Worth your time and money. Support local business. Loved the car care product museum. Thank You Doctor!!! read more

Compounds, buffers, chrome polishing, pin striping paint, air freshener. You name it he's got it! read more
