Nowadays it's hard to find honest, knowledgable people who will truly help you without trying to con you into buying products you probably don't need. I came to Dr. Detail after driving by and side swiping another vehicle. I was pretty sad about it because I just got this car this year and this happened. Anyways, after reading all the great reviews, in particular Juan J's, I decided I needed to come here. I went in and explained my situation. Dr. Detail said he heard of this often. After taking a look at the damage he proceeded to use a detail spray and another solution to wipe away what there was. Turns out what I thought were scratched were actually dirt that hit the top coat of my car. I was asking how to use the products correctly so I could do it when I got home but he said he would just do it for me. I then explained to him I had a stain in my fabric seats (cat had an accident) and he used a spray and brush to remove the stain and explained he used a degreaser. I was amazed at the excellent customer service and was ready to buy all the products he had used but he actually told me he wasn't charging me for anything because he had taken care of it. I insisted on buying one product, a detail finish that's like a waterless car wash, which I thought was really cool and gave my car a great shine. But it was under $10. This business has been in Fullerton 4 years but Dr. Detail has been in business for 29 years! He definitely knows his stuff and won't con you! As a female, I truly appreciate that because I feel like most shops in general see me and start making stuff up! Thank you Dr. Detail, you made my day!! read more

So many great things to say about this guy! I first met him years ago at the Long Beach high-performance car swap meet. I Always waited a month until the swat me came around again to buy stuff. That was until I was smart enough one day to look at his business card.. What the heck this guy has a shop in the city I live in haha. So Now I just stop by anytime I need anything or anytime I have a question with a problem I'm having from headlight restoration from dressing for tires and inside interior which to are wash soap by the way he turned me onto Maguires hyper dressing this stuff is awesome! I've been in other detail shops and I got to tell you some of these guys you talk to make u feel like you are bugging them because you're not well educated on product like they are. You will never get this from Dr.Detail very knowledgeable guy on all the products he has. thanks for everything buddy see you soon. Went in for some oxidation on my trunk. Before selling me anything he went to my car and demoed the product. Unfortunately I waited too long and it has to be repainted- but I thought it was awesome he would do that rather than sell me stuff and hope for the best. Ended up buying some wax and cleaner to prevent it from happening to the rest of the car. Would definitely go back and highly recommend! read more

Going here was a very pleasant experience. The guy I talked to (who I think is the owner) took his time to explain the products he had and at the end told me what I already had was better, a very honest store owner!! He even printed the instructions on how to do what I wanted. Wow doctor was great!! I had a bit of markings on the side of my car and came to Doctor and he was the best. Before buying the product he tested it out on my car to make sure the markings would come off. He not only gave me great customer service but also seemed genuinely concerned. He saved me money and took another stressor away from my day. Unlike most places he didn't try to take my ignorance to an advantage, and was honest about the simple and low cost products Id have use to fix my car. Definitely my go to. Took his time answering my questions. Never once tried to sell me on one product... Infact he did the opposite when he misquoted me a lesser price than what it sold for and because he accidentally did, he honored it. He had my business at that point.. But as we checked out standing in line he gave my 4 year old daughter a rubber duckie because she had made a comment about them. Very nice of him and it definitely made my baby girl happy. But wait theres more.. I mentioned the free towel for checking in on yelp except i couldnt get my phone working for some reason... so i told him its ok and ill probably be back soon to get something else thinking id check in then..
