I've been coming to this location since they opened. I have never seen such a lack of diversity in regards to staffing. However, when my bi-racial teenage daughter expressed interest in responding to their now hiring advertisement, I encouraged her to apply. I was very disappointed to hear that the hiring manager (aka the owner's girlfriend) berated her for being a high school athlete. (DV girls basketball) She got irritated and told her "I don't hire high school athletes because you're never available." She then proceeded to rant and rave, yelling about how she can't stand trying to work with their schedules. She then turned to my daughter's white friend and offered her an interview for the next day. She kindly declined. Ironically, I had been in to buy shakes a month before for a Desert Vista cross country fundraiser. Don't pretend to support the high school sports teams when you clearly only support them when it benefits you by bringing business in. I would love to give more stars based just on the shakes and other products offered. I am however unhappy with the level of customer service this place has occasionally. Never felt the need to put in a review until today. I am a manager at a business in the area. Myself and my staff members frequent this location for conviene. We are literally there almost every day and get multiple shakes per visit. Today one of my employees made a "shake run" and was treated with the worst service we have had in a very long time. Most of the young men working there are nice and say good morning/afternoon no question. Today however was another story. A caucasian guy was rude and silent as she greeted him. Thankfully there was a second Hispanic guy that was very friendly to help her. What bothered me most is the 1st guy commented that we be charged full price. Not once to the best of my knowledge have we asked for a discount. They already have a free shake program after a certain amount of shakes purchased. No big deal. But he thought she didn't hear him while the blender was going. Customer service is what people go into a business for in addition to the product. Great place to get all your nutrition supplements! Staff is very knowledgeable in the products sold and what's best for what I'm looking into. On weekends after family hike or bike ride we swing in for shakes... I enjoy the post workout one. All in all better than any other place I've tried and highly recommend! I stopped here after a quick workout at LA fitness because my son begged me and swore this place has the best protein shakes. It was around 8pm it was quite and the guys working the place didn't seem thrilled to have us there but whatever. I don't expect young adults to understand the importance of stellar customer service. (Side note: I preach customer service all the time, so my son WILL know the importance). We place our order. My son informs me that these guys get trained on shake nutrition so they know what they are doing (fact or fiction?) They kindly did split our $6 peanut butter shake since I didn't want a whole 20(?) oz. (i forgot what size) It was good. I'd go back to try something new and hope that I'd get a smile next time at least. My son did not want me to post anything negative cuz he loves this place and doesn't want it to close down. Expensive. They won't match prices. Their version of customer service = conceited indifference. Stopped by here today for some protein powder. They have a great selection of products crammed into this little spot. And, the staff seems really knowledgeable about supplements too. Kudos. However, when I found the protein powder I was looking for it seemed priced a little higher than it should be. So, I pull out my phone to check local, in-stock comparisons (thank you Google Shopping), and indeed they were priced much higher ($34.95, or about 20-25% higher) than everyone else. I politely inquired if they match prices and also informed them that they were priced higher than nearby competitors. Their response: I was waved off with contempt. Okay. No problem.... I drove only ONE MILE away to their competitor, and the SAME EXACT protein powder was sitting on the shelf for $28.99! That's six bucks cheaper -- actually, it's $5.96 cheaper, but you get the point -- SIX DOLLARS CHEAPER! A lot can be had for six dollars: two gallons of gas, or two bottles of Trader Joe's wine, or a fast food meal...or whatever the heck I want to spend my $6 on. But, it's my six dollars, and why waste it unnecessarily? I don't like to mention other business names in reviews, but this other place is only a mile away, on Ray Rd, and its initials are H.H. I'm sure you can figure it out. It's too bad that they don't care to earn customer's business here at One Stop. There are in fact other stops one could make...and a lot less expensive ones at that. read more

Of all the One Stop locations I frequent, this is the worst. The dude who is in there when I go seems to give so few fucks that it's clear he hates being there. The store is so unorganized and there is product clogging the aisles. I went in to get more ISO-100 and they have so much chocolate and vanilla in stock and both flavors are stacked on top of the less common flavors. I had to dig through just to find anything else. What the fuck? It's also become clear that maybe they can't move their product because no employees want to engage their customers. This isn't the gym, dude... I'll start by saying, I love One Stop Nutrition for what they offer as a company, this review is based strictly off service. The staff at this location is flat out rude. I've been to 6 valley locations and this is seriously the worst. The minute you walk in, they either roll their eyes at each other or mumble something under thir breathes. I've taken 3 different coworkers here for lunch shakes and they all had something to say about the employees tones and attitudes, literally every single person I've taken here. Finally, they water their shakes down at this location. I've been getting 4-5 shakes per week for the last 6 months and every time I come to this location, they resemble a slushy more than a smoothie and not a single other location has this issue. I love this place! I was wanting to get back in shape and not sure where exactly to start. So, I asked my parents neighbor, who looks like a bodybuilder, and he told me go see Matt at One Stop. A few weeks later I hung out with a friend I hadn't seen in months and he looked AMAZING! He's in his forties and looked better than he did when he was a sufer in his twenties. Asked him what the heck he had been doing and he said I had to go see his buddy Matt at One Stop. So, I finally did. Matt litterally knows just about everything there is to know about nutrition and supplimentation. he helped me develop a plan to reach my goals. Well, it's been two months and I'm down 45lbs and I've put on 15lbs of muscle. No joke! I went my Dr., Dr. Nichols of Ahwatukee Family Medical and had everything tested. before and after. Dr. Nichols also knows Matt and he told me that One Stop is a great place. It's nice when even your Dr. give a good refferal. Check this place out. You won't be dissapointed! Thanks Matt!!!! Strawberry banana smoothies are the best. They are made fresh when you walk in the door. It's a little cluttered and no room for you to relax and sit down after a nice long work out but I guess I can't complain too much it's a vitamin shop that just happens to sell good drinks. They sell a variety of vitamins and proteins bars too for all your needs. read more

Very disappointed. Everytime I've gone the staff consists of three boys who rather swear to each other and talk about juuling. They are not helpful when I ask what they recommend, they just say "I drink everything from here" very condescending and arrogant. They also tried to overcharge me for a smoothie; the price was clearly listed as $5 and at the register they just asked for my card. I asked how much and they said $6. I said "it says up there that it is $5" he says "you're correct, I just say $6 to everyone" I believe that is wrong. I also wish they listed calories up there. Complaining about customer service is not something that I like to do because I completely get having "off" days. But I have been in this store about 6 times now and each time no matter who is working is always super rude. I go in because I need protein bars and it's the closest place to my house but I feel uncomfortable to even be in there for more than a couple of minutes. I always want to try a smoothie but I feel like I won't get any real help from them. The first time I was in there there was a little boy who was about 6 or 7 ordering a shake for his dad and the guy behind the counter could not have seem more inconvenienced. I just moved to the area and actually thought about applying there before I knew what their customer service was like. This place has a really good selection of supplements. I have been in here twice in the last two weeks. There is a younger guy that works nights and he has a lot of information. They also have protein shakes and internet available to customers. The only complaint is that most items are about $10 more than you would have to pay on the internet. I was interested in buying a daily meal replacement I could do at home so I went in to the OSN to get more information. I bought a shake and asked the guy at the front if I could buy the ingredients in the shake I had bought, He replied no... so again I explained I wanted to buy product to make shakes at home. He then said they only sell the flavoring for the shakes. I have been to the 44th location tons of times and the gentlemen that works there had told me they do sell the product- but to double check I called and asked again after leaving the Ahwatukee location (which the question was yes of course they sell the ingredients for the shakes) I'm thinking because there was like four people working/hanging out in there He didn't want to help me.l and continue his convo with the others. I have been going to nearby LA Fitness and have seen this place but never stopped in, thinking it was just another typical vitamin/health food store ala Hi-health or GNC. My husband went there one day to get a protein shake and was awed. He said "you have to see this place!" When I walked in I was really surprised..so bright, clean, great selection of nutrients. But the best part is the smoothie bar in the back and the employees. Friendly, knowledgeable and great customer service. They remember your name and what your drink is, seems like they have a great camaraderie. The smoothies are delicious and they are literally saving my husbands life as he is going through chemo and needs the protein. The owner even came in on a holiday to make a smoothie for my husband.
