Great place to browse around. I really enjoy looking at all their supplements. Excellent customer service. Lots of interesting sparking waters to try. I really liked it there!

    Only .10 cent bananas

This is a nice healthy grocery chain out of Colorado. The store was clean well organized and well stocked. I was really happy to buy 4 large bananas for only .10 cents each. Cashier Kaitlynn was professional and courteous. I subtract one star for very high prices and below average value aside from my banana purchase. Recommended.

Great Saturday morning..! In my sojourn of adjusting my nutrition and more importantly my eating habits, "it" like many circumstances during the grind can be extremely trying but yet rewarding. Just trying to be more mindful-cautious about over-indulgence & munching! Balance. /stepping off soap box/ Natural Grocers is one of my favorite grocery stores. It's a potpourri of tasty treats and delicious foods. A blend of trader joes meets sprouts . They also provide education on healthy eating and cooking. Prices aren't bad at all- considering the product/s and service they provide. A smaller store, so you don't get lost in aisles but lost in ingredients. No crowds=no long register lines. Stop on by!

Cute little store carrying select grocery and fresh food items to accommodate specific diets and allergens. I've been coming here lately to purchase certain gluten free items such as Jovial brown rice pasta. They have a great little section of everything- similar to sprouts but more variety and expanded products within brands. Such as a bigger selection of Bob's Red Mill. Definitely worth a stop if you're looking for specific dietary staples.

This Colorado based grocery chain is kind of a cross between Whole Foods and Sprouts. Taking up residence where the Fresh and Easy used to be, the focus is on healthier, more sustainable/ethically sound food and products. There is a small but very fresh produce section that has all organic foods, but the main bulk of the store is focused on prepackaged goods such as vitamins and grains. The fresh meat section is also small but has high quality products such as Mary's farm chicken, grass fed beef and Niman Ranch pork. Service was warm and friendly. Overall I love the concept and hope this store is here to stay!

    Bulk items... refrigerated!

This feels like a scaled-down grocery store, so it's appropriate that Natural Grocers set up shop in what used to be a Fresh & Easy. I was surprised to see how limited the selection of fresh produce was, but even more surprised by the prices. Although you can find a great many of the same products at Sprouts, the prices here are more comparable to Whole Paycheck (cough!), I mean, Whole Foods. So that was the disappointing part of my first visit to Natural Grocers. That being said, there were plenty of interesting aspects of Natural Grocers that distinguish it a bit from its competitors. For one, the bulk products are pre-packaged and refrigerated, which doesn't mean much to me, but a co-worker commented on how she insisted that her flour be refrigerated (presumably because of the Phoenix climate), and so she was a big fan. Also, they have a respectable supplements department, which offered some different products that are somewhat underrepresented at Sprouts. However they still don't carry the awesome flavors of Plant Fusion's protein powders (Cookies N Cream or Chocolate Raspberry). For that, you have to make a special trip to Mom 'n Pop vitamin stores like Healthy Habit. I found a couple of treats that made my visit complete. They had an almond hummus (or is it properly called a Romesco sauce?) that is delicious on just about anything, and it's called "Bitchin' Sauce". Cheers for that... It is indeed bitchin'! And I liked that they recycled cardboard boxes for packing your groceries. I'll be back to browse some more for oddball items, but I can't be inclined to do any regular shopping here when I know so many things are overpriced.

They had a meeting mid day, only one register opened. And I got stuck behind an extreme couponer.

Eh, this market is so tiny and definitely needs more love to grow…read more We mainly went to go check out 10:19 coffee. And the line was CRAZY long! Clearly, this was the big draw for many of the people coming to check out the market (or we just had poorly timed our visit with when the free yoga class was over). We did look around, but sadly, ended up not getting anything from the handful of vendors that were there. It's a great location and has so much potential. There just needs to be more vendors/booths and maybe even a bakery that offers bread would be major plus to improving this market. Will be back, but I don't know if it will be anytime soon.

10/04/2025 Visited the Downtown Chandler Farmer's Market for…read morethe first time. It wasn't located in its usual spot that day due to a different event. It was quite small compared to other farmer's markets that I've been to. Vendors were selling AZ honey, sourdough, baked goods, skincare, charcuterie boards, sandals, farm fresh fruits and vegetables, and more. The strawberries from the farm were a beautiful red and looked so good. There was also a BBQ vendor selling sandwiches that smelled really good. I got a pretzel from one of the sourdough vendors, and it was delicious! Loved the texture. I stopped by 10:19 Coffee to check out their menu, and everything sounded so good! I love matcha and blueberry, so I got the Boo-berry Cloud. The barista asked for my sweetness preference and if I like the taste of matcha. Based on my responses, she recommended half sweet with an extra shot of matcha, and it was perfect for me! It was also adorably decorated with a "spooky ghost" that I assume was made with cream (see the photo!). That day was also the first time that the market had young entrepreneurs participate as vendors. I heard that they plan to do it once a month now. There were 7 kids booths selling snow cones, Halloween items, glassware, lemonade, dog treats, cookies, bracelets, and other trinkets. The one selling snow cones also hosted a few contests with the young entrepreneurs, with the prize being a free snow cone. All of the kids looked like they were having fun. Overall I had a nice time walking around the market with my mom. I will definitely come back as the weather starts to cool down!

As a health food vegan, I am always on the lookout for food like this: whole foods/plant-based, including some oil-free options. Their whole menu reads like a list of my favorite food buzzwords: buckwheat, lentil cauliflower scramble, sunflower seed meat, local fermented sauerkraut, freshly milled Sonoran wheat; tempeh, sourdough, homemade seeded bread, homemade cashew milk, etc. etc. It was legitimately hard to decide what to get. I went with the baked(!) strawberry banana oat buckwheat pancakes. Super tasty, and a generous portion. I also couldn't resist an oil-free sunbutter cookie (with its wacky bluegreen tinge that was apparently from the sunflower seeds) and also loved the cold brew coffee with cashew milk.

It is a little pricey, however, it's worth the cost. As I mentioned, everything is healthy and made fresh. You can't get that without paying a bit extra Their bread is so good, the chutney is awesome, their little side salads are so tasty. I haven't tried anything here that I have not loved. They are a small husband and wife run business, which is always great to see. They are very friendly people who clearly love what they do. There's limited seating indoors, as it's inside Barnone, but you can easily find places to sit outdoors as well.
