To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally report what I believe to be unfair, deceptive, and exploitative auto repair practices by One Stop Auto Service, located at 9409 Rosecrans Ave, Bellflower, CA 90706. On Thursday, January 16, 2026, I brought my vehicle to One Stop Auto Service for a radiator repair. I was charged $1,300.00 for the radiator, an amount I later learned was significantly higher than standard pricing for this type of repair. After payment was made and my vehicle was released to me, the check engine light was illuminated. This warning light was not on prior to bringing my vehicle in for service. I was later informed that the repair had not been fully completed, and I was told that I would need to return and pay an additional $1,000.00 for further work in order to resolve the issue--despite having already paid in full for the original repair. I subsequently took my vehicle to an Infiniti dealership, as Infiniti is the make of my car. I was advised by their service department not to return to One Stop Auto Service, as the repair work was either incomplete or improperly handled. I am a female customer and strongly feel that I was financially exploited and taken advantage of in this situation. At the time of service, I had recently undergone surgery, which placed me in a vulnerable position and limited my ability to advocate for myself or seek immediate alternatives. I am also a local resident in the surrounding community and trusted this business based on proximity. I believe the conduct of One Stop Auto Service demonstrates a lack of transparency, misrepresentation of completed services, and an attempt to charge excessive additional fees after payment had already been rendered. This experience caused me financial stress, inconvenience, and emotional distress. I respectfully request that this matter be reviewed and investigated. I am seeking accountability, appropriate resolution, and assurance that other consumers are not subjected to similar treatment. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter. read more

My mom took her car to this mechanic shop to clear a check engine light and they told her that they needed to automatically replace the radiator to clear it which they charged her over $2000 and the light still didn't go away. I've been coming here for over 20 years and after the new ownership took place I really wanted to keep coming and like this place. After getting an oil change, I noticed oil leaking on my driveway, I looked underneath my car and saw a bunch of oil that wasn't wiped when the oil change was done. I figured it was an honest mistake, went back a few months later and same thing. I got a brake job, 2 months later they were squeeking like crazy, I took it back to them and they couldn't figure out why it was squeaking. I YouTubed how to change brakes and spent $60 did it myself, noticed the 2month old brakes were worn out. So disappointed with them that I will no longer take any of my cars there and the trust is lost. I've been here three times now. I mostly go to an auto shop closer to my place of residence that my family has been loyal to for years now. But I'll come here when that shop is too busy, I want a second opinion, or am closer to this auto shop at the time I need service. While it may look chaotic or crowded on the outside looking in, I've showed up in the morning or afternoon and left within a reasonable amount of time every time I went even when there were multiple people who had gotten there before me. I credit that to their speed of service, ability to prioritize jobs well, and effective communication between team members. In front of my face; The OWNER ask the employee "how much do we charge this dude to install these PIECE OF SHIT PARTS ON HIS TRUCK?" He kept using this language the whole time he was referring to me. Then he said 600 for the front and we don't know how much for the rear until we lift the back and see if these pieces of shit fit your truck. My dad referred me to this place. Upon arrival I was ignored. There was no one behind the front desk, had to physically go up to a mechanic working to get someone's attention. Went because my car reeks of gas when I start it in the mornings. Joo told me he doesn't work on my car (Mercedes) well he told my dad he doesn't work on range rovers BUT I definitely seen him working on a Range Rover.. sooo. I told Joo my dad and I believe it's the high pressure fuel pump hose causing the problem. Joo responded "your dad always thinks he knows the problem, why doesn't he fix it then" RUDE. Since I didn't have a check engine light on he said I should check with the dealership because it's no point of running diagnostics w/ no warning light. Went back (my dad talked to them, told me to come in the morning). Waited patiently, still no one addressed me, had to find someone to assist me. Parked my car where I was told too, then a Hispanic man was asked to move my car. I'm trying to explain to him how to move it (it's a lever on the steering wheel) he's ignoring me hitting the middle council module. I'm trying to explain the middle doesn't put the car in drive the lever does! He not listening. I TOLD HIM I'LL MOVE IT MYSELF because you not about to be hitting my car like that! Then Joo gone tell me he doesn't speak English that's why he's not listening. Nah he doesn't care and is ignoring me, that's why he's not listening. I went knowing EXACTLY what the problem was, Johnny looked up under the hood, waved his flashlight around, said he smelled gas & to leave it for a few days and they'll try and see what going on, but no guarantee. I have older model cars so bring them to One Stop for all sorts of fixes and regular oil changes. They are the most honest mechanics I've ever dealt with and even fixed a couple things with no extra charge! Yes, when you arrive you sometimes need to wait or find the tech but partly that's because they are always busy and have limited staff. There is no fancy waiting area or greeter person, which is probably why the prices are reasonable. I needed my vehicle back quickly with my most recent repairs and they had it done hours before anticipated. I recommend this repair shop often. read more

We tried to give the new ownership a chance because of our loyalty to the previous owner, but they have failed in quality, value, and customer service. The timeliness of their communication was really bad on my last attempt here. I dropped off my car before lunch and I had to call to get an update, even then I received an update shortly before closing and I was not able to pick up my car to take it elsewhere. They fixed 1 problem and then they took it upon themselves to pass a smog check for me without my approval even though they don't have a license to do smog checks. One stop auto has been working on both my cars for awhile never had any problems until I took my work van in for a oil change like always. until now I picked it up and drive to my first job and my coustmer told me there was a large pull of oil under my van on her new driveway. She was very angry never had to worry the van never leaked oil until they changed it. Come to find out that oil plug was put in incorrect. when I got back to one stop the mechanic said it was put in incorrect so I took photos and come to find that there was a large gap on one side of oil plug. so I lost about about three quarts of oil driveing frim my coustmers house to one stop. almost burnt up my motor. once again there was oil again under van in the morning before I went to work. I stopped by for "glow plug" service to be specific. The female employee stated they charge for a diagnostic check. I advised her that I have the diagnostic check, and it indicates "glow plug" service needed for cylinder 2. I also advised the truck is a diesel engine truck. I asked if they can work on it. She said yes, that any charges for the diagnostic check would be applied toward the service. They kept the truck overnight just to tell me it was a the glow plug and they cannot work on it. Charged me 150 for the diagnostic check. Be advised people, diagnostic checks are now free. You can go to any vehicle parts store to check it for free. Also, the business is under new management. I have been going there since 2002. Johnny was real one. He wouldn't have wasted my time, nor taken my money this way. I've serviced many vehicles there in the last twenty two years. I had been going to One Stop Auto for over 20 years20 years. You could always trust Johny. From an oil change to major work. every time I was going on a road trip, I would go there and have them look over everything to make sure I didn't get stranded. All those years I never got stranded. Last year I went to One Stop Auto because we were going on a road trip, to my surprise Johny had sold it. Since I was already there, I decided to let them work on it. That was a big mistake. I asked them to check everything, also explained to them that my AC was not working properly. It was not working on the 2nd and 3rd setting. I knew all they had to do was change a sensor that is behind the glove compartment. I also explained that the two vents on the driver side occasionally would blow hot air. Once I turned the car off and restarted it would again blow cold air. I asked them to fix those two issues with the car's AC. When I went to pick it up they told me they checked everything and everything was working well and that they had fixed the AC issue. Just for the AC they charged me $300. I get in my car start the AC and setting 2 and 3 do not work. I go to let them know, their response was, we did an AC tune up. An AC tune up is not $300. We went back and forth and got nowhere. As am driving home the two vents start blowing hot air. I drove back and told them, the two issues that I asked you to fix you did not and over charge me for something I didn't ask for. Needless to say, I got nowhere with them. To top it off on our road trip the car over heated because they missed that the radiator had a small crack on it. We had to spend a day of our trip at a radiator shop getting a new one. That is after continuously having to stop and add water to the radiator so it wouldn't overheat, as we drove to the repair shop. It was a 45-minute drive to the repair shop, but since we had to constantly stop, it took us 2 hours. I ended up fixing part of the AC issue myself. Run a business around the area and thought I'd support a local small shop by doing an oil change here instead of big chain place. Pulled up and there was only one car in the bay being serviced, I sat in my car for a few minutes thinking someone might come out, about 5 minutes passed and another car pulled up beside me so I decided to get out of my car so I didn't lose my spot in line since I was there first. Stood around for a few minutes and no sign of anyone except the guy changing oil underneath, he saw me but didn't say a word, about 1 minute later another guy walks by and gives me a wave of "hold on", cool I get back in my car and wait. 3 minutes pass and the guy who pulled beside me decided to leave, I'm committed about 10 minutes into waiting already but I'm patient. The guy finishes the oil change, comes up from the bottom and gets in the car and drives it out of the bay, cool I'm thinking I'm next, thought wrong. He parks the car, hops in another car and pulls it into the bay, gets out of the car and doesn't say a word to me and continues to go change the oil underneath. What the fuck is going on? Am I invisible? So I get out of my car and say excuse me is anyone available to help me, guy says uhh yeah give me a few minutes I'm working on this car. Well no shit I can see that, I decided to leave as I figured if you aren't competent in at least asking me what I need or giving me an eta of wait time, I don't want you anywhere near my car.
