On google maps and apple maps, they appear under "Goodyear" but is actually an independent shop. The manager is very rude, and when I called the next morning just to see if my car was started or not they hung up the phone lol. I called back four times and it rang and went straight to voicemail. Also had my boyfriend call and the same results. I just wanted to call and inform them that I changed my mind and wanted to take my car somewhere else for a cheaper price. As I arrived here, my car was out of the garage and parked in the middle of the parking lot with my windows down and my key in the ignition. They knew I called when I got there. Very confused on why anything couldn't be discussed over the phone... but ima going to just assume they don't like being bothered.. read more

Terrible business. They don't know how or when to patch a tire and covers it up by saying "everyone makes mistakes" I came in and VERBALLY SPECIFIED how I NEED my tire patched. The 3 incapable MEN behind the counter took a very Quick Look at my car and not one but two MECHANICS came back and told me they don't see a puncture in my tire just for me to walk out to my car the very next day to a flat. They should be out of a job for this negligence. In fact this location should be shut down. All of the money I spent could've been avoided because I literally brought it to them and the either made it worse or didn't care to patch my tire. Either way COMPLETE NEGLIGENCE NOT A MISTAKE. When I spoke to the manager on the phone his response was "if my guys didn't see it then they didn't see it" obviously he doesn't know how to conduct business. I trusted 3 men and drove off when my gut told me that the nail in my tire was unsafe. I then fixed my tire with the real MEN at wal mart and let them know about the idiocy here and they LAUGHED when I showed them the pictures because it was OBVIOUS the nail was deep and they were so kind about it. *IF YOURE IN THIS AREA FOR A TIRE REPAIR GO TO WALMART!!! THE GUYS OVER THERE ARE RESPECTABLE AND PROFESSIONALS!!!* THEY KNOW WHEN TO PATCH A TIRE. I drove back up there to get their number to corporate and I let the manager know I'm the one he spoke with on the phone and this man walks up on me and tells me everyone makes mistakes as if I asked them to fix my engine. It's a tire patch as a man do better because you're a joke defending something so avoidable. If I was a man you would've did what I asked. But THE MEN HERE DONT RESPECT WOMEN. OR BLACK WOMEN. The customer service at this shop is terrible. Picked up vehicle and the owner got insulted because I asked him what service was completed for the vehicle. "He said I will tell you once you pay me. " someone who can't answer a question for you when you are a paying for a service is out of line. Once I looked at the bill I'm seeing I was charged $160 an hour to change the thermostat and $160 an hour to change a water pump. The car was dropped off by my 70 year old dad and I went to pick it up to see why it was so much. Just because we got ripped off doesn't mean you should too, my dad agreed to pay for the amount because he's old and doesn't know how to do the work. This is a late review but I wanted to give credit to the wonderful service and owner. Last month I left my home for work and heard a scraping sound coming from my car. I pulled over and noticed there was a part from under my car dragging. I was sure this was going to cost hundreds of dollars to fix. I drove in the nearest shop I saw open (it was 730am). I saw Pit Stop Auto Centers and pulled in immediately. I was told that the I must have ran over a curb and caused the cover under my hood to come lose. The man who helped me stated that I would either need to fix since it was completely destroyed or just remove it. I decided to remove it and they removed it in less than 15 minutes. The man who helped me said it was free of charge. I forgot his name but he said that him and his dad ( the first man who helped me) were the owner. I didn't have any cash on me and was unable to tip but I wanted to give a great big thank you to the wonderful, honest service that I received. Thank you!!! read more

After Armando left this place has been going down hill fast ... Ernesto will not stay consistent with prices ... I've had 3 different prices on an oil change on the same vehicle. If you pay cash he doesn't give you a receipt. I was coming because of the Costco discount but he is selective in when he will allow you to use the discount. He is very short in communication & poor customer service. I was told my brakes would be $570 all around with rear rotors done .. i only did the back & was charged $350 for rear Ernesto told me get front done asap before its metal to metal .. upon my return 3days later to do front brakes i was told only 1 side needed a rotor turn unlike the back where both was needed & done & he would be charging me the same as the back. Well I was just told that the same service done with only 1 rotor to be turned will be $450 only because he thought that's what he charged me 3days ago. After explaining that he didn't & its for this very reason I asked for a receipt he got a little hostile & said the cheapest he could do it was $440 ‍ I understand it's holiday time but trying to get over on customers that you've had since 2010 is ridiculous read more

Great location for any car needs. I used to take my Sentra to the Nissan dealership but found this place and it was much more affordable. The staff is super helpful and straightforward, they tell me what my car needs, what work can wait, how long it can wait, and always quote me before doing any work. They also take the time to explain what the issues are with the car or a specific part and will show you what they mean. I come for oil changes and for larger jobs, the staff is hands on and will test drive a car with you before and after service if you want to point something out or to make sure everything is better. I think a guy named Armando is the manager, he's the best! Oh! They also have starbucks coffee in the morning in the waiting area, can't beat that for customer service! read more

They will examine your vehicle and recommend only what is needed, give you a heads up on future possible repairs/service. If you do not need it done right now, he will let you know. AND, they only use manufactory recommended parts for your vehicle, no substitution. I travel cross towns to get to Pit Stop, bypassing the dealer., because of the their honesty and integrity. First time coming to this auto center which I found through AAA. First impression is great compared to other auto centers I've gone to in the past. I came for an oil change and a check up on my car. Ernesto didn't try to up sell products or services which is always a plus. He gave his opinions and recommendations which was professional and I expected and agreed with what he told me. His prices are comparable/reasonable to other places and always kept me informed and doubled check what was used on my car instead of just assuming. I do not really post much or give reviews but this time I had too. I normally always take my car to get fixed to the Honda Dealer but was recommended to bring it here. I can say do not regret it. They did a great job. They are affordable and quick. Ernesto is very knowledgeable and very honest. Being a female it's difficult to find a good mechanic but this place I can say knows what they're doing. I will definitely make this my permanent shop to do repairs on my car.
