Had my car brought here due to them saying they can do a liability claim... yet they were unsuccessful and told me I had to pay $1500 to get my car out lol what a joke. Once that was done & I told them I didn't want to pay that. I told them I wanted my wheels they gave me them back fucked up and it looked like slashed my tires & over filled them with air on purpose. ( The mechanic doesn't like doing things for the office ladies is my guess ) every time I asked him to get my wheels he told me couldn't do it or "I'm not obligated too. I truly was saddened lol, and although Xclusive never got to work on my car, their customer service was still great! I was able to get a rental car through a company Xclusive referred, which was great. I got a new car now, thankfully (my mom car)! So if anything happens; God willing, NOTHING does happen, i know of a body shop now! although sorta far from Orange County, they were very efficient! I recently got in a car accident and my car was towed to Xclusive Auto Collision. When I arrived the place was crowded with workers and vehicles and every employee said hello as I passed. There were many vehicles in various states of repair but all looked like they were taken care of where they sat or were being diligently worked on. Once I got to the office the staff was so kind and helpful, Marisol was my representative and Julio the General Manager both took time asking me if I was OK, offering me water and asking what happened before even getting down to business. They all made the process so flawless and quick and I really appreciate that. Although my vehicle will probably be a total loss I will go back and I suggest the same to you. My husband had a bad accident a few weeks ago and the tow truck driver recommended us to Xclusive. We'd never been involved in a car accident before and had no idea what to do nor had the time to sit in the middle of the freeway Yelping for good places, so we went with his recommendation. As soon as we arrived, Joanna and her team gave us step-by-step instructions on what to do and made us feel at ease. They even assisted us in getting a rental car while this whole mess was figured out by the insurance. We ended up hiring a lawyer to assist us with the process so we wouldn't have to be dealing with the pushy insurance agents playing hot potato and see who was going to take responsibility. After a week, we ended up finding out that the car was deemed a total loss. We've only had that car for a little over 3 months and did not purchase gap insurance, so we were not prepared to hear that kind of news. We contacted Joanna and she scheduled a meet-up so we can pick up all of my husband's belongings from the car before it was removed from the lot. After a few days later, we haven't had any updates from the insurance regarding a settlement. We were told by the lawyers that the hold-up could mean that the car hasn't been picked up yet. I sent Joanna a text requesting verification if the car was still there and she responded right away...and yes...the car was still there. We called the insurance to see what was the hold-up and Joanna did the same thing for us as well. Sure enough, this little push got them to pick up the car the very next day soon after that conversation. Even though we didn't end up using their services due to the estimators deeming it totaled, we were so impressed by their genuine caring attitude that we would bring our vehicles there for any future issues we might encounter. I was involved in a collision on 12/24/24. Tow truck came and picked up my car and brought it to this shop. They reached out asking for information and when I'd be ok with them starting repairs. Since I have insurance I opted out told them that my insurance arranged a tow to a shop that works with them. As soon as I said that I got a phone call from someone named "Cristian" telling me that my car was more than likely going to be a total loss, insurance would probably not pay me what my car is worth, AND that he would help me get the true value of my car. All I had to do is go to their shop and he would show me "videos and testimony" of other people he has in his words "helped". I've never been in an accident I was scared and nervous about hearing the words "total loss" on my new car. I told them I'd get back to them ans hung up. When sharing this information with my husband and a family friend who is a mechanic they told me to run so I did. I took my car to a shop that works with my insurance and it's now waiting to be re-painted with all repairs done. I feel this is all I need to say about this business. If you are in any situation that's nerve wracking please do as I did, take a step back, breathe, think it over out loud, and talk to someone you trust. UPDATE (July 16, 2024): Less than 24 hours after the original commentary, I was contacted by the business asking for the opportunity to "make it right." Ultimately, it was just another chance to reinforce the POOR DECISION to bring my vehicle to THIS location! Identifying himself as the 'Regional Manager', who REPEATEDLY stated, "I cannot argue with your comments." "You are absolutely right, we dropped the ball. "I have no excuses for any of the points you made." "I want to make this right." All followed by a series of 'assurances' they were going to correct the multiple deficiencies and INEXCUSABLE delays - which included reimbursement for added expenses and problems resulting DIRECTLY FROM THE INADEQUATE SERVICE AND CONDUCT of this business. It only took an ADDITIONAL TWO WEEKS to complete the job, but they DID NOT HONOR THEIR PROMISES to correct and remedy all the resulting issues related to this encounter. In fact, two days after retrieving my vehicle, the same 'Regional Manager' called, ASKING ME TO REMOVE THIS REVIEW, assuring that the remaining corrections would be remitted. I followed up to ensure the 'manager' received necessary documents he requested were received. He guaranteed that the agreed-upon corrections would be forthcoming. They never did. In fact, after TWO follow-up attempts, it has become clear that the remaining remedy was just simply to 'ghost' me! No return calls; no return messages, complete SILENCE! I was asked to give them an opportunity to "make it right," What they accomplished was a REINFORCEMENT of my original impression: this business merely offers 'lip service' and ultimately WILL NOT HONOR promises made, EVEN WHEN THEY BEAR FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR UNPROFESSIONALISM AND INADEQUACIES. Do yourself a favor and choose ANY of the MANY OTHER repair facilities in this area. Just as predicted, the decision to patronize this business will be a regret LONG AFTER I retrieved my vehicle! ******************************************************** ABSOLUTELY the WORST auto repair decision I've EVER made...EVER! I'll explain... Right after the collision, I called AAA for a tow. The tow driver offered to take my car to this location, stating they were "the best repair shop in the area." While I typically don't buy into hyperbole, the driver had a business card and they were very close to my home. Thought it would be worth the recommendation (especially coming from a AAA driver). Of course, my first visit to the shop to make all arrangements and complete paperwork, they were EXCESSIVELY helpful, welcoming, and expressing their concern for providing a speedy, top-notch repair. That was the LAST positive interaction. After TWO WEEKS of ZERO CONTACT or updates, I attempted to call on THREE separate occasions and not a single call returned. I had to resort to a physical appearance at the shop just to be informed that my designated 'representative' was not available and was seemingly the ONLY person capable of providing a status update! When I FINALLY receuived a call from 'Cindy', sher informed me that the parts were being ordered that day (yes, AFTER TWO WEEKS OF HAVING THE VEHICLE) and she would be able to giv me an update on the following day. TWO MORE WEEKS passed by and I had to make yet another call to get an update. When I finally received a return call, Cindy was only able to state that the vehicle was STILL not complete ("Production fell behind" was the excuse given) but that she was NOT able to provide a completion estimate until the following day! In short, they have had my vehicle for more than a MONTH and STILL have no completion estimate; they waited over TWO WEEKS just to order parts (subsequently DELAYING the repair job); repeatedly ignore (or simply choose NOT to respond to) multiple phone calls/messages; and WHEN I DO receive a return call, they are completely UNABLE to provide any realistic update or progress report, other than, "NO, THE VEHICLE IS NOT READY...BUT I CAN CALL YOU TOMORROW WITH AN UPDATE." Of course, I can see all the positive feedback on the Yelp website and I am certainly happy for the satisfied customers that have expressed their experiences...not sure why I get to be the proverbial 'outlier', but rest assured, every single word of this review is absolutely a true and accurate account of my experience. Given the quality of responsiveness, customer service, and their ability to clearly communicate with THIS customer, I am NOT anticipating a high level of satisfaction or a thoughtful, professional, quality completion of repairs. In fact, given the totality of my current experience, I fully expect that will likely resort to some form of retribution or further excessive delay in completing the work. Aside from the initial visit to this shop, EVERY other interaction is STRONGLY indicative that the decision to patronize Xclusive Auto Collision is a decision I will continue to regret LONG AFTER I finally receive my auto back! read more
