I took my car in because I had an oil leak, so I started off by getting the oil pan gasket fixed (I knew this was the problem from the start ) so they change it and tells me it's still leaking oil, then suggest a valve cover gasket. I do it then the car is still leaking oil. Dennis (the mechanic) recommends a rear main seal replacement but I don't do it and 6 months later I decide to get to the bottom of why my car is leaking oil and I see it's still the oil pan gasket so I decide to switch it out myself and i see how bad of a job these people did and tried to scam me into doing more work than needed. The oil pan gasket was the problem from the beginning I seen the gasket they used and it was a make your own gasket (later if silicone or something) very messy work some of the gasket was inside of the pan and inside the upper oil pan apart from that it was ripped and still leaking oil. Just be careful check your work before leaving the shop. I paid over $500 for the job to be done with very cheap materials. read more

I guess I was excited and wrote my review too soon. My AC worked amazing only on the day it was repaired 4/19/25. After that it was just shooting out air but never got cold no matter how long I let it run. I've been meaning to bring it back in but it's hard because they're closed Sunday and only open a few hours on Saturday. Weekdays they close at 3pm and I don't get off until 5pm. Finally brought it back 5/24/25. Left it there an hour while took a walk. Turns out that the part they replaced is leaking. He said they will repair it at no charge. I SHOULD HOPE SO!! I hope I didn't pay almost $800 to have AC for just one day. I'm supposed to take it back on Wednesday 5/28/25 so I'll follow up this review next weekend. read more

Oh, they're just the greatest, and I think everyone knows it, already lol. They're pricing is fair, they're super patient in telling you exactly what's going on and what they're going to do (they'll even give you tips to keep your cost down). If there's a funny noise, someone may take a ride with you to pinpoint what it is. Tips: People really like them, so don't try to take your car in when a holiday is coming up- they won't even have time to talk. The earlier in the day, the better. They really do open at 7:30. Oil changes run about $60 and typically take an hour or two, given the first two tips apply. read more

I've been bringing my cars here for over 10 years. Dennis and Lee are great. They're honest about the work needed and the price is always fair. There's an open air waiting area in the shop if you need to stay and wait for repairs. It takes me a while before I trust an auto repair shop and I trust this one. I was having a weird noise coming from the rear of my Chrysler 300. I thought it was either a bad wheel bearing or my differential going bad. Looked on yelp for an auto repair shop that was close to where I live and came across Ace Auto Services. Took my car over and talked to one of the mechanics(Asian guy) about the noise I was hearing. Right away he said he'd take a look at it. I gave him my keys he put my car on a lift with the rear end lifted so the car can run with wheels in motion. Another mechanic came over and grabbed a mechanics stethoscope and did his thing with the stethoscope for 30 seconds and figured out what it was. Turns out my axle bearing is what was making the noise and needs to be replaced. the first mechanic I spoke to got on the phone right away and 5 minutes later gave me a quote for the part and labor. $245 not bad at all. Plus they didn't charge me for them looking at my car. These guys know what they're doing and are super quick especially the Asian dude haha. I've been taking my moms car here for years and never had a problem. They are very up front, fair, and honest.

I went to this place since it had excellent reviews. My check engine light was on i already knew an oxygen sensor needed yo be replaced. So i called they told me to take it in sure enough they poped the hood check the engine and as they had already connected the obd2 and yes it was my oxygen sensor. The quoted me 195$ dollars. I needed to get it done asap so i agreed. Left the car there i Told them i had to go to work so i would pick it up after work they said sure no problem. When I'm at work i get a call saying that my car is done BUT they found that my radiator was cracked and that it was leaking coolant. I was like what? They checked the engine in front of me before i left the car there the engine and radiator were dry! They also told me that i needed to change my timing belt water pump and all the belts. If not my car was going to get damaged. So i asked how much for the extra work and parts? They told me that it was going to be an extra 1900$ dollars WTF! I said no leave it as it is I'll go pick it up. When i got there i looked at the engine and the radiator was wet with coolant all over and yes it was broken not cracked. They damaged it when they were changing the oxygen filter. They denied it. I drove off in my car and about 3 blocks away my car started smoking really bad. Called a tow truck towed it to my house. Got another mechanic to do the job and sure enough he confirmed that they broke it when the were changing the oxygen sensor. I will never use this place ever again. They are not honest do crappy work and lie to get more money out of you. BE CAREFUL DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMENDED..... read more

I've Never left reviews for anything! But I just had to leave one for this place. I've been getting oil changes here for a few years now. But I've had a few problems lately with my Xterra the first time I took it there I explained what was happening they said no problem they looked at it gave me a quote at first I thought it was a little high in price but after talking to a few ppl they was like nope that's pretty reasonable. Within a few hours they called to tell me my truck was ready for pickup! They even dropped me off and picked me up! That's good service to me. The other day I took my Xterra back for another repair they told me what was wrong and a price quote. I was like okay that's fine. Dennis called me and told me I can come pick my truck up it was ready but due to it being windy there credit card machine wasn't working and that it was okay to come back the next day to pay! If I could give no stars I would. Dennis the older man is an angel. Lee is the worst mechanic I've ever dealt with. He's extremely rude and doesn't listen to your concerns about the car that YOU drive. I brought my 2012 civic to ace because it was having issues which I think are electrical/emission and this place has good reviews. My car was overheating so I changed the radiator anyway out of paranoia because the car was not reading a code for it, after I changed my radiator my car started driving worse than it had ever driven. Lights all across my dash INCLUDING the TEMP hot light. My engine has now started to misfire, car wont start, rough idling, and horrible gas mileage I brought it back because I suspected the feel injectors need to be cleaned or replaced. I couldn't even get a word out before lee disregarded my concerns. Oh and if you have a job don't bring your car here unless you have someone to drop you off and pick you up. They expect you to leave your car all day and then pick it up after 8 hours and it drives exactly the same. I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN HERE AGAIN. please save your time and go somewhere else. MONEY TALKS BULLSH*T WALKS. I guess they don't want to get paid because I would've spent whatever to have my car back running. Now I'll be spending else where. read more

I went to this place bacause of the great reviews here in yelp. My car was making a weird noise coming from the ride side of the engine. When i arrived they checked my car and went for a test drive so i can point out the noise i was refering to. Since the noise was very minor and didnt show signs of machanical failure they were really honest and told me that it is too early to diagnose the problem. The didnt charge me anything and advise that i came back if the problem gets worst. They really showed me how honest they are. read more
