My experience at Eddie's Mufflers shop was for sure an interaction I'll always remember. Upon reaching his shop I had woke up to my catalytic converter being stolen right from under me as I was sleep. To my demise I thought their was something ultimately wrong with my car due to the loud noise it was making. When I looked on yelp for specialist in this field Eddie stood out because of his reviews so I thought to try him out after all what do I have to lose. When I spoke to eddie on the phone he reassured me of a lot of concerns and stresses I was thinking of and dealing with. I'm not going to lie once reaching his shop I didn't know what to expect plus I was dealing with anxiety from the whole situation. Little did I know meeting not only made my day better but he also fixed my car by exposing me to alternative solutions. He truly turned a day that appeared like a nightmare to me more of a blessing (learning lesson) and made me feel kind of dumb for how overworked I was about this particular situation. Called another shop and brought my car into theirs. They also had great reviews; It took less than 5 minutes for them to tell me my muffler was shot and they couldn't help me unless I replaced the whole rear system. Fabrication shop said it would cost me the same to repair as the new one would to replace. The car was rattling in every gear at every RPM. F87 M2 Axle back systems cost upwards of 2 grand! I didn't want to get rid of the MPE exhaust system either. Saw Eddie's a solid 30 minute drive away and went for the Hail Mary. Gave him a call and he assured me he could help out. It took him less than 5 minutes of looking at it to confidently tell me that he could not only repair it, but have it ready the next day (it was already late in the day when I took it in). He dropped the system, cracked it open and welded up everything loose (even the things I couldn't see and didn't know about), and put it all back together looking spotless! He top repaired it so you can't even see the fixes! Car sounds amazing with 0 rattles now. Couldn't have had a better experience and will be recommending his shop for all exhaust work to friends in the future. Seems that Eddy has two new workers that help him now before when I first went there it was a solo operation. He really knows what he's doing, never ceases to amaze me, that whenever I have a exhaust problem he's able to solve it. I went this time due to my exhaust rattling again so I had seen a picture of someone who had the same exhaust as my car and had another brace welded. I took the part and showed him a picture and in like 10 minutes he had welded the part and completely solved my rattle issue. As I was getting the rattle issue resolved, they noticed that the exhaust gaskets were burnt out and leaking. The next day I went and got couple of new gaskets they installed it but one of the gaskets that connects to the catalytic converter was a different size. He was able to put a donut gasket that he had and solve the problem. He always is able to solve whatever problem you have. He is such a nice guy and always charges a very reasonable price or dirt cheap compared to other shops for the work. Beware that he now opens latter now at around 11am and stays open latter. Any exhaust, muffler or header issue or install Eddy will do you right. I read more

First, I needed my catalytic converter replaced so I got quotes from several auto repair shops. This was the cheapest one by far and the repair was also the fastest by far. Saved me hundreds of dollars and a lot of time. Highly recommend! Eddie is super nice and helpful as well. Honest guy who does great work. He helped me out on another occasion too. I had just gotten an oil change at a Jiffy Lube and then found that my car kept dying. This was highly suspicious as they had just cleaned the corrosion off my battery terminals. The mechanics over at Jiffy Lube said I might have a bad battery or a bad alternator and quoted me over $500 for a replacement alternator! I didn't trust them, so I called Eddie and drove over to his shop. Lo and behold, my alternator was fine, my battery was fine, and the only issue was jiffy lube had not tightened the terminals after cleaning... Eddie tested everything, tightened up the positive terminal for free with some pliers, and I was on my way in no time. What a relief. Thanks so much again! Once again I'm back! This time for my MR2. We changed my muffler that had a broken glasspack to a Dynomax Super Turbo and also installed a used midpipe. After facing some fitment issues with the midpipe, eddie and Chris took care of things promptly! They even took some innovative steps to create a gasket for the aftermarket piece since the original one did not fit. Over and over I can't be happier with their work and will continue to come and recommend friends here! Update: it's 2020 and Eddie saved me again. The flex pipes on my cat/mid pipe were going bad and leaky which made horrible noises, smells and also caused backfires and poor idle due to the O2 sensor reading incorrectly. It wasn't easy but Eddie found a way to get some new ones on... and save me from having to buy a new cat. Car drives great now. Thank you Eddie! read more

Was in LA on a vacation and was out sightseeing. Was a big N.W.A. fan growing up so i decided to ride through Compton. Caught a flat tire and immediately started thinking I always make bad life decisions. Lol Anyway, I pulled into the shop and car was immediately put into a bay. The technician showed me that the tire wasn't repairable and offered me a used tire at a decent price. Got the tire mounted and balanced and was on my way in about 15 mins.
