My car is acting up, possibly fuel pumps again. This would be the third time in a year dealing with the same problem. Long story short, brought it to G & J Auto Repair Shop to have George inspect it because I feel that he is honest. Spoke to him in March of this year when my fuel pumps gave out again. I had warranty and so I decided to take it back to old shop. Another mechanic changed the spark plugs/coils but the code was still popping up. G&J was able to diagnose that I had a bad vacuum hose. They replaced it, and the code was cleared. For AC repair, George quoted me on the cost for AC compressor and fan replacement (parts & labor). Pricing was very good. Next day they had my car ready for me to hit the road. I pulled off the lot with my AC blasting ice cold, engine codes cleared, and car running Great! So thankful for George and team taking care of me. Remember to always ask if bringing in your own parts is okay, because not all shops will allow it and not all shops will warranty the part/labor either. You must respect what the shop says/does.

I had been looking to fix the TPMS on my 2012 Toyota Rav4 for over a year and had been turned off by the estimates I received from the Toyota dealership and Pepboys, my two go-to options for the maintenance and repair needs for my two old cars (I also have a 2008 Toyota Yaris). I felt the price quoted to me was not worth the value of having working TPMS sensors, so I was just resigned to having the TPMS lights turned on for as long as I had the vehicle (which I intend to keep for life). For some reason, I thought I'd give it one last try and I found GTS on Yelp. They were very responsive when I first asked for an estimate and it was much, much lower than what Toyota and Pepboys quoted. So I went ahead with the service, and when they found out that one of the sensors was still working, they told me it didn't need to be replaced and thus brought down the cost even more. Do you need towing service to bring the car. So my vehicle was towed to his location that Wednesday afternoon. On Saturday morning Francis contacted me and asked me, "Who replaced your front axle drive shaft? I had it replaced on September the 3rd. Francis informed, me they install the wrong drive shaft. To make it really short, Francis asked me the information of the repair shop that worked in my vehicle. From there he took over, contacted the repair shop owner, explained what he found and caused damages in my car transmission and directly dealed with the other shop. Fortunately, the other shop that replaced the drive shaft, took full responsibility for the repairs needed (drive shaft replacement and transmission repair). He replaced the radiator and water pump, repositioned the external transmission cooler, and replaced the tail housing gasket on the transmission. My truck has never run cooler transmission temps than it does now. Francis is very knowledgeable and actually understands how these older trucks heat up when you're towing or sitting in traffic. He explained what he was doing and why instead of just slapping parts on. If you need cooling or transmission work done right, take it to Francis.
