My name is Victor,I went to these guys after reading a lot of positive reviews on yelp. They were amazing,after waisting $1400 trying to fix my a/c on my 2017 gmc Acadia at another repair place I went to them. They had to replace the evaporator behind the dashboard,truly a big job,they did the job quickly and at a very reasonable price considering the magnitude of the job,it's been a month and still blowing ice cold. It's not Lynn's anymore, they should take the sign down. Stopped buy to see if the could recharge the AC system in my classic car since the real Lynn's had serviced the car before. They asked me if the car is using R34, told they no, the car has a modern vintage AC brand system and uses R134. The guy has to go ask someone, I don't think he knew what I was talking about when I said the car has a new "vintage brand" modern AC system. The word vintage probably threw him off thinking it was old. He came back and said they don't work on anything that old. I had an appointment a week in advance. Dropped off early morning and took an uber to work. I called 3 times to check the status. was told that it was almost done twice, only for me to call end of day for them to say it was never checked. After wasting 50 bucks on two Ubers they didn't even open the hood to work on my vehicle. Waste of time and unprofessional place. read more

This is not Lynn's anymore. They wanted $1500 for an aire conditioning hose!!! A hose!! Then they dropped it to $820 because they would adjust a hose to fit . Since I turned it down, they charged me $200 for the inspection. The place is being remodeled and got 4 new hydraulic lifts. I believe they are trying to recoup the money for the remodel. Replaced compressor 2004 sienna 6/2023 about $1k and blew super cold on hi while idling 42-45 degrees at vent fixing front and rear van air. 6/2025 $130 check up. Very hot spell. Maybe not as cold. Only blowing 51 degrees at vent with full vacuum no leaks. Cleared debris from cabin air filter to fix problem and blow cold again at 45 degrees. read more

Good service. Brought in my 93 civic VX for trouble shooting (AC blowing hot.) Vehicle was found to have leaks at the compressor, lines, and firewall. At the shops suggestion I went ahead and had the compressor/ condenser replaced , retro-fit valves installed to convert from R12 to R134, and new seals to accommodate the R134. AC now blows cold and the problem is fixed. Will definitely visit again if I have issues. Overall good experience. Fairly pricy but I understand that parts for old cars are getting hard to find and AC work is generally expensive! read more

The folks at Steve Luzzi Automotive referred us here since Lynn's does both R-134A *and* R-12. (Thank you, Steve Luzzi guys.) We weren't sure what we had. McDreamee likes to tinker and repair his own stuff most of the time, but he also knows when to leave it to the pros. Lynn's is one of those places I've driven by at least 100 times yet didn't really know much about it. Come to find out, people from all over SoCal come here for their air conditioning needs. Old cars. New cars. Big rigs. Motorhomes. Classic cars. Collectors like ours. These dudes were straightforward with us. They underpromised, overdelivered. That's my jam. The dang heater control valve rusted open on our Riviera. It was $99 to replace it on the spot. With the diagnosis which included a leak check, our total bill was just over $215. Pretty flipping good for same day service. Service with a smile. No issues. Got a couple friendly phone calls while our precious was in their shop. Ben and Marco are both a pleasure to work with. TIPS + Be there at 8 a.m. for a probable all-day or at least half-day drop-off. + They do NOT make appointments. + Keep your receipt in the glove box or in a file at home. I was finally successful on my 4th attempt and WOW am I glad I was persistent. I had gotten an estimate at Purrfect Auto who claim to specialize in AC repairs, they quoted me $2100 !!! I had them fixe my 2016 Silverado after the condenser failed for a known problem with GM condensers. Great experience and my AC has been working awesome since. I took my wife's Corolla because the AC cuts out when it's at idle, they checked the car and fixed an overcharge that I had done by adding Freon myself. I wasn't charged for this and the AC works fine. Turns out Toyota Compressors have this problem. Great place to take your cars for quality AC or any other repairs. read more

This place has been open for decades and judging by the service I received I'm not surprised. My Honda Odyssey a/c system started blowing warm air, I tried to get it serviced at another shop but all the repair shop did was charge the system and take my $175.00 and the warm air returned. Even though I live in Long Beach I happily made the drive to Lynn's. I was expecting the repairs to be expensive but was pleasantly surprised by the cost and the car was fixed the same day. I recommend Lynn's.. I've taken two of my vehicles both for ac. I ask them to do an inspection and a recharged of ac. Both times they have done just that. I was driving down from Northern California and unfortunately midway through the trip my AC gave out. Although i was a walk in on Monday morning they were able to get my AC fixed in a few hours so that i wouldn't have to cook in the oven of my car driving up through the central valley. I still had the factory compressor on my car so it was only a matter of time it would need to be replaced.
