Just wanted to update pictures for the menu/prices. Food on point never disappoints. 10/10 recommend

Fried rice with chicken and mushroom
    Marissa K.

Ordered the chicken and mushroom fried rice and it was so tasty. The rice had great flavor and that perfect slightly crispy texture you want from good fried rice -- not mushy at all. The chicken was tender, the mushrooms added a nice savory depth, and everything was seasoned just right without being greasy or too salty. It's one of those simple dishes that's easy to get wrong, but they nailed it. Super satisfying, comforting, and I'd definitely order it again.

Update date on 3-15-26. Last time I posted was in 2024. I ordered the mushroom chicken. This time I told my husband let's go back since I was at longs drugs across the street and ordered Chinese chicken salad. Well with the picture I took says it all. I didn't realize that it was BBQ Chicken slices with the salad vegetables. I said wow who makes this kind of salad. Only thing was good was their salad dressing. Oh well I could find other places where the chicken salad is what I want to eat.

Update on One Plus One Drive I ordered their regular chicken Katsu plate it is massive. It comes with 2 layers of chicken thighs over 2 scoop rice and Mac salad . At least you can see the chicken compared to most places that sell Chicken Katsu

This place has a lot of variety and Chinese food is one of them. We did the same thing we do every time we come here. Ordered the chicken katsu mini. Still awesome bargain and tasty. Yummy yum yum. The katsu is cooked perfectly and the mini only gives you one scoop of rice three layers of chicken and Mac salad. There's only four tables to dine in. We go here before the UH games. The place accors the street is delicious. It there more value at this place. I am always in search for good food at a reasonable price and small family own places is how we want to support.

Garlic chicken is only hint of garlic....won't order this again at $15.95...not for catering option either. I'll slowly taste test some options in the future. Too bland. Front cashier's...too stoic Ambiance is somewhat busy...a little noisy with loud conversations from 4 Chinese people alone....Lol!

Hungry? This place will fill your stomach and some. 1+ one Drive-in offer is great local plate lunches and a very reasonable price. Their house noodles with barbecue chicken can feed four people! And the barbecue mix plate which consists of one hamburger steak, one piece, teriyaki meat, and a choice of beef stew or beef curry with two scoops of white rice and a macaroni salad will definite you put you to sleep for days. The food here is very consistent. The noodles are stirfried very well and you can get that wok taste . Whatever protein you choose they have a perfect balance of the protein and noodles. This place can get a little busy during lunch. I would suggest going off times like after 1 PM.

This places is solid! Super fast service and plenty food. The pricing was super reasonable too, especially for the amount they give you. And the food taste so good. We got the chicken katsu with beef curry and upgraded the rice to fried rice. Was ono! And the chow mein was super good too. Just the one plate is enough to feed my family. Two plates, feed you for days.

Great little neighborhood spot. I eat the same thing every time I come here. I just love the way they make their garlic chicken. There's no breading, just chicken and garlic. The recipe has evolved from before when you could see all the garlic pieces to now where you can't see it but you can still taste it Either way I just love it! I love eating it with rice. Not sure why but I need a lot of rice I ordered the mini, no salad, all rice My mom had their Teri beef saimin. To her they add a lot of Teri beef and it makes the broth even more yummy My mom also loves their fried rice and she also recommends their house noodles with Teri chicken They're really quick and they have a place set aside so you can enjoy your food there rather than just taking it home My mom and I give this place 4.5 stars Took .5 star off for their tiny parking lot Parking is limited, shares the lot with a liquor/convenience store.

Christmas Day and I arrived early but needed to eat. Not sure what was open, and I tried Chinatown but parking was impossible, so I just headed to my bud's place on King. I saw that 1+1 was open and I wanted to try them, so why not. Small parking lot, but found a spot on the street. When I walked in... Me: Can I order something to go? She: We only have barbeque chicken or fried chicken...no combination plates Me: Barbecue chicken works! Mini please. The woman looked tired and probably annoyed with all the Christmas Day orders. Doesn't anyone cook anymore??? LOL! I was eating dinner around 5 pm, so I didn't need a big lunch. Food came out quickly and it was the perfect size. Two large pieces of chicken thighs, rice and mac salad. Just perfect to cure my hunger pains. Prices seem reasonable for the times. Would love to come back and try some of the other dishes. Mahalo One Plus One!

My favorite place for a quick plate lunch. Will never not be hard to find parking but well worth walking to from the street, etc. Lots of indoor seating, unfortunate that they're not open more days of the week!

This plate is known for their affordable plate lunches with generous portions. The majority of their patrons are repeat customers from the community. The best thing about this place is their party menu. It's a good balance between price, quality, and generous portions. They have the staff to crank out tons of food, but be warned on Friday and Saturday nights a single order of plate lunch could take a while because large quantity of party platters have been pre-ordered. During Chinese New Year's, they offer one of the best Jai in town because of all the ingredients they put inside. See photo of all the ingredients she puts in her Jai. This is the owner's family recipe.

Do they delivery for catering parties?

I was told (by the cashier, who asked the chef) they will deliver if the order is the biggest package (approx. $300) and they will also charge a delivery fee.
