They have hosted holiday events, bingo, pool parties, fashion shows, and numerous dog family friendly events. The two owners made everyone feel like they were a part of the family. The indoor and outdoor dog friendly areas were so large that it never felt cramped or crowded. The food and drinks were flavorful from the strawberry matcha to the pumpkin spice martinis! We loved the steak breakfast sandwich and brisket waffle fries. We will miss LDC!

We were told that they do accept cash & new $100 bills, but it's store policy to refuse old bills because they are "easily replicated". I strongly advise pet parents especially those with young puppies to take their dogs elsewhere…read more My 4-month-old puppy went to Clip Joint, and my experience was awful. Every single time I brought him here, he was terrified to walk through the doors and clearly uncomfortable around the staff. After his appointments, he kept developing yeast infections in his ears because they failed to dry him properly a problem that completely stopped once I switched groomers. The final straw was when they refused to groom him again unless I put him on tranquilizers. When I asked if he had aggressively bitten anyone, they admitted he had not. He was simply a typical puppy: curious and mouthy while teething. Suggesting heavy sedation for normal puppy behavior is absurd. I took him to a new groomer afterward and gave them a heads-up about Clip Joint's claims. When I picked him up, the new groomer said he was absolute sweetie curious, loving, and never even attempted to bite anyone. Clip Joint does not know how to handle or groom puppies with patience and care. Our dogs deserve so much better than being turned away or mishandled during such a critical stage of their lives. Save yourself the stress and find a groomer who actually understands dogs.

We have a huge, fat, jerk cat (Maine Coon) and a 100 year old, demented, anxious dog. I have to say…read morethe staff here do an amazing job with both animals. The cat has hair for days, and we get him shaved twice a year. Sure, he looks ridiculous, but it cuts down on the hair all over the house. The staff shave every square inch of him, and I mean EVERYTHING. I don't know how they do it (I can't even cut the bastard's nails without him freaking out), and I might not want to know, but I do know he comes home smelling so clean and groomed. I think he appreciates it, because he walks around like he owns the place with his new look. Our dog is at least 14 (she was a rescue 12 years ago), pretty demented, blind in one eye, and very anxious (she gets around well and has no real health problems, just so you know we're not prolonging her existence). She also comes back all fresh, shaved, and smelling fantastic. She's anxious when she goes, but comes back just fine. No trauma inflicted that we can tell. Some may feel the prices are high (about $100 with tip for both animals), but it's worth every. single. penny. to us. The only downside here is the length of time it takes to get an appointment, usually a 3-4 week wait time. So I suggest making your appointment ahead of time.

My foster dog recently was groomed at Grateful Pets, and I was so appreciative of their professional and kind service. My foster is a husky mix who had experienced neglect and had lots of matting, and had likely never been groomed. The Grateful Pets staff really put me at ease and communicated throughout the process so I knew what to expect. They were so patient and loving with him, and really treated him like one of their own pets. I would recommend Grateful Pets to anyone looking for caring groomers!

When I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the owner and then introduced to Ryan, who would be grooming Rocco. She took him back and let me know I'd receive a text when he was ready. When I came to pick him up, Rocco was happily playing in a playpen and having an absolute ball (pun intended!). The staff told me he did great and was a joy to work with.
