I've passed this pet store several times and finally decided to stop in. OMG I fell in love. First the staff is so nice. Asked if we've been before then explained things to us about the store. As we walked around and had additional questions based off what we observed, staff was available and answered our questions and then some. This place has so much to offer. First off, the staff here is absolutely awesome. Always polite, will assist you with your needs. They have a dog washing area that is pretty nice (although I will they were a little taller). You can sign up for the Dirty Paw club. You get a punch card, and it saves you cash. Towels and soap, conditioner are also supplied. The roaming vet that comes around twice a month or so is VERY reasonable. read more

I used to be a big fan and had my dogs order on autoship. They didn't have my 1/2 of my order in stock and cancelled it while I was out of town, so I came home to my dogs being out of food! I called the store and the woman I spoke to was incredibly unhelpful and said they didn't have the food, didn't know when they would get it, and wouldn't help me find it at another store. So frustrating. I was using the store brand and my dog has a very sensitive stomach and doesn't do well with switching foods. The food has been out of stock many times and usually the staff is helpful and lets me know when I can expect it or helps me find it at a store close by. I guess the supply chain issues have increased so I definitely won't be using their store brand in the future and will switch my dogs to something that's more readily available at stores with better customer service. Sad that this place went downhill! read more

Pet Supplies Plus is our favorite dog store. We get the OptimPlus Adult Lamb & Brown Rice Formula With Tender Shreds Dry Dog Food which is their own store label dog food. Our dog loves it! We used to get the Purina one but they stopped making it, and the switch could not have been better for us. We had initially called and the manager helped us find a great alternative to the Purina one and even helped explain the byproducts that were in the Purina one, which are not in the OptimPlus food. You can tell they really care about animals and what they are fed! They have homemade treats, bags of treats, toys, and anything else your dog might need, including a self wash station! Not to mention, they almost always have some sort of deal or coupon. Today they had an Anniversary party & every order was discounted. I absolutely love this location and especially the employees!!! I can not stress how welcoming, informative and extremely helpful and nice the employees are. Amazzzzzing customer service!!!!! I called to inquire about a particular item that the Warson Woods location was out of stock. I happened to speak with one of the managers. He was soo friendly and funny. As soon as I walked into the store, I was immediately greeted. As I made my way throughout the store, an associate, Noah, checked on me and assisted me with my needs. I love the variety of items at this location, extremely impressive!!!! They offer some of everything. I just hate the distance, but it's soo worth it. They do not offer grooming but there is a lady that clips nails for the fur-babies. I love how they always have some type of sale. The prices are beyond reasonable and the options are beyond plentiful. The store is clean and well stocked. I call it a big small store. It's not as large as the Warson Woods location but offers more of a variety of products. The store is located in a strip mall, which offers plenty of parking. On March 6th, I called in to my local Pet Supplies Plus to tell them that I had made a mistake and ordered the Non clumping cat litter instead of my normal order of Clumping cat litter. Ordinarily, this would not have been a major issue, and I could have returned the litter and replaced it with the correct one. However, I am disabled with damaged shoulders from a fall. While Pet Supplies plus normally helps me out and loads my car for me, and I have another friend unload the items for me. This time, however, I had them take the 40 pound bag to the basement for me, where I have set up the cat litter room. I cannot lift more than 7 pounds without assistance. The thing is though, in the same fall, I got an abdominal tear, and my surgery for it was 530 am today, on March 7th. I wont be able to move about for the next 2 -3 weeks. I called and first talked to Alexis Lowenthal. She told me that she would talk to the store manager and that she would personally deliver the new cat litter, take it to the basement for me, pick up the incorrect litter and take it back to the store, and that I would only have to pay the $6.09 difference in cash. The manager agreed, and within the hour, Alexis showed up to my door with my 40 pound box of cat litter. She was able to exchange the items on the spot, and helped me out so much! She wished me well for my surgery in the morning and gave me a hug. Alexis Lowenthal went above and beyond her normal duties as a Pet Supplies employee and really showed kindness and care for a disabled customer. I would like to recognize her and the rest of the team that made this possible. This kind gesture did so much for me, and made my life so much easier for the next couple of weeks, when I needed it the most. I am now home from the surgery, and it all went well, and although I am in a great deal of pain right now, I can focus on healing and not be worried about how to solve the issue that I ran into. A Small act of Kindness made the biggest impact in the life of a customer!! Thank you Alexis, for all that you did. I seriously appreciate you! read more

We bought two Guinea Pigs from here in February. We bought them with a pen, food, bedding, and everything else needed. I knew we could get a lot of it cheaper online but we wanted to support a local business. When we bought the Guinea Pigs the associate told us the store would clip the Guineas nails for free for the life of the Guinea Pigs, all we had to do was bring them into the store. I even asked if I needed some sort of certificate and the associate said that wasn't needed. This was true for the first 7 months but the last time we brought them in the manager told us that they changed their policy and we now have to pay for nail clipping. I like supporting local but unfortunately this business doesn't stand by its promises. We've started ordering food, bedding and toys elsewhere. read more

They always help me with what ever I need, usually picking out food, or care items for my dog and bird, and gathering them into a cart, then putting them in my car.
