Amid the panic of COVID19, my partner and I were on a desperate hunt to find Gouda a very specific bone. Gouda has been loyal to bones that imitate/resemble wood and at only 6months old, we knew we needed to replace the nub of her old bone. Owners welcomed us when we walked in, gave us space to look around, and then engaged with our dog. Easy to chat with and knowledgeable. Fantastic variety of toys, treats, food, etc. Though in the past I've spent days finding this type of bone, they had the EXACT type of bone we needed! Not the best for rats or fish. We are fish enthusiasts and are looking to become rat owners as well. When we came into the store to inquire about pet rats, they said they did indeed have pet rats for sale. They then took us to a cramped closet and pulled a glass aquarium full of feeder rats out of a bottom shelf to show us. The males and females were kept together, even though some of the rats were of breeding age. They tried to convince us to buy a feeder rat as a pet because we'd be saving lives, and then encouraged us to "pick a smaller one so it probably isn't pregnant." Next, we asked about what kind of cage they recommend for rats. As it turns out, they don't sell rat cages, or any cages that could even be suitable for rats. They showed us a hamster cage​ but told us if we plan to buy two it would not be big enough. This means they would likely have had no qualms about selling us a solitary rat, even though rats should only live in groups of two or more. While we waited for them to look up the pricing on getting a rat-appropriate cage on order, we took a look at their aquariums. The gourami tank had a dead fish floating in it, clearly dead for days, and the rest of the gourami in the tank were looking sickly because of it. The visit ended without us knowing how much the rat cage would cost because they couldn't find out between their vendor catalog and website. Between the sad state of the aquariums and their attitude towards pet rats, I don't think we'll be going back. Their dog and cat sections seemed fine, though. read more

Over the years I've had the pleasure of taking care of all my pet car needs at a single location. The owner use to breed Pugs; my Lucy & Bam are products of his late stud Nitro. I've bought mice to feed my snake & alligator, dog food, snacks, leashes, fish, hamster cages, animal toys and much more. They stock all the healthiest food brands and supplies best for your breed. Pet Connections is more than a pet store it's almost like an extended family how at home you'll feel doing business here. I hate I no longer live close enough to visit as often as I use to. Pet Connection doesn't have the most welcoming exterior or interior. In fact, it's a cluttered mess (faded posters on every inch of the walls/windows and stuff everywhere). But, they have a nice selection of tropical fish, birds, reptiles, small animals and pet supplies. I am extremely impressed with the selection of dog food. They carry brands that focus on health and price, not marketing. I have shopped around and I have not found the same quality of healthy food at this price point anywhere. read more

They have a nice selection of high end, healthy organic food here that our cats love. The staff is very friendly they are very chatty. Wonderful store. Can not say enough good things about it. Not sure what dog food to buy for your doggy? They have more dog food than I have ever seen, and the gentleman asks you what type of dog you have, whats your budget, do you want grain free etc. to make sure you walk out with the best food for you and your dog. Very knowledgeable. Toys, doggy treats, leashes so big that I can not even imagine what type of dog that would fit (most likely a polar bear lol) Girl behind counter was really helpful and cheery. I love walking into a store where people are smiling and genuinely seem happy to help you. They had a bunch of reptiles and fish but those aren't really my thing but I know there was a lot of them.
