Our pup loves coming to Grateful Pets for daycare! They are open from 6:45am - 6:00pm which allows enough time for drop off & pick up without disrupting my work schedule. The staff here are so friendly and clearly love all the dogs! Their monthly pass is affordable compared to nearby places.

A great little place to take your fur baby, Itsy Bitsy, for the day while you explore St Louis. We went to the Gateway Arch and took a Riverboat cruise on a very hot humid day. It was a relief to know our dog was safely being cuddled in an air conditioned environment. Our Itsy Bitsy is only 6 pounds and hung out at the front desk with the owner all day! At only $30 for the day it was very chap price to us.

This place is the best. My dog has been going here since he was just a pup (3 years) and I am so sad that we are moving. Richard provides excellent training services and the staff is always friendly. Rebecca is amazing at dog grooming and even though I didn't regularly have my dog groomed there (I always forgot to make an appointment) when he did get groomed he came back so clean, had his nails trimmed and even had a cute little bow on. I always knew he would be safe and well cared for here and that peace of mind is worth every penny.

Somebody is excited to start daycare!

Like most pet parents, our life revolves around our four legged fur baby. But, in order to afford his life of luxury- my boyfriend and I both work full-time. And our lines of work call for a sometimes erratic work schedule. Finding a doggy daycare that is flexible, and one that doesn't nickel-and-dime you- is tough. "Oh, you want us to pet your dog while he's with us? Thats an additional charge" Grateful Pets is truly a gem, and one that Soulard and surrounding areas has needed. Their facility is great, their pricing is very reasonable and the fact that they have 5 star grooming AND training services is just a huge added value to the business! Moose loves going to see Richard and Rebecca, and we love the peace of mind knowing he is in such caring hands.

Nice and worn down after a rough day of playing.

Took our Shih Tzu, Bailey, for her "spa" treatment for the first time today with her "stylist" Rebecca (owner).

They had him in a very small cage after they were done grooming him; and he had an uneven groom and many an irritated area. They're surface-level friendly here, but I don't think they were very friendly to my dog. Kennelwood is a better value.

Best price of anywhere, but the service is still the very best. I mean it. And we always tip…read morebecause they do such a good job. Now I see why this building has successfully been here for decades. Edit: I read the review from 3 days ago from an "unhappy customer" well I just want to say my cat gets shaved Everytime too, and they say they can't trim his fur halfway. I believe them, I mean they could do that, but for the price a shave is reasonable. The owner does have enough customers and demand (most affordable place around) that she DOES get to dictate which customers she will take and how she will take them/what services she can reasonably offer for said price. If you want your incredibly shaggy and huge dog to get trimmed up the way you want you'll have to find somewhere else, and it'll be $200 minimum, plus tip. So yeah, for the money I do what Ms Anderson says and we all leave happy. Especially my cat. Whoever said the customer is always right was dead wrong. And these "shaming reviews" where "I left in tears" make me sick. Nost people leave happy and they won't leave a review because they are happy to get along with their lives. When people are unhappy they are much more likely to review, meaning reviews are always skewed negative. Ignore the fussy customers and try this place out. It really is the best bang for your buck. The owner really can say no to customers - she literally has a line out the door every morning I drop my cat off Second edit : man so many people here want these fancy haircuts. It's an affordable grooming service not a luxury spa. People just want an arm and a leg for the price of a finger. Jeez. It's $75 bucks. Most places charge over $100, and often well over. Off topic but I'm also tired of seeing all these foo foo haircuts people want. Maybe cuz I'm a guy I like my pets to be animals and not a supermodel. I don't own a pet for the way it looks I own a pet for companionship. I got my cat shaved so he doesn't shed so much. Maybe men are just functional and women are more concerned with looks. Some call it internalized misogyny but it seems they are treating their pets like models and not animals.
