Ube-tter latte
Marceline J.

I went in the evening on a week day and there was only one girl working in the counter who also worked in the back. So sweet. She made both my drinks pretty quick and there were plenty of seats to work/study. The Ube-tter believe it latte had a good coffee taste to it but the ube was pretty mild to me. The onten classic is a Thai tea with espresso and I loved it. The drink size is well worth the price too. WiFi is validated for 3hrs in the parking garage

I was there on a Sunday around 3 PM. They were busy. Food was pretty good. I had the 4 of the hand rolled sushi rolls and the tonkotsu ramen. The rolls were a little hard to bite through, had to really dig my teeth through to separate the bite from the roll which also cause a lot of the ingredients to fall out. The ram tasted great but a lot of the noodles were clumped together. When you order they also prompt for gratuity, I left 20% on a $47 check for just those two items with no beverage. The down side is that there is no service. They call out your name and you have to get up to pick up your food and then get up to place your used dish ware in a bin. I didn't like that. I feel like the grat prompt on the tablet which was 18-22% should be in line with service that reflects them brining your order to you and clearing your dish ware. Very nice ambiance, but overall I feel like there were some opportunities with the service. If I went to a sushi or ramen spot and spent that or less I would have actual service. I didn't bring up the food opportunities because I would have had to carry my items back to the counter in a busy space and then carry it back to where I was seated. Suggestion would be to adjust the suggestive grat or align service with the current grat suggestion.

Matcha with salted peanut foam

The Matcha with salted peanut foam was absolutely phenomenal! It was on the pricier side $9.50 but still enjoyed it. The place was aesthetically pleasing and pretty roomy with a lot of tables and chairs. Service can vary on how fast-one time was within 5 minutes and the other took about 10. They also offer free parking for three hours right down below them when you scan their QR code inside.

It was a cute place and cozy for the omakase. We had gotten the 13 course omakase for $89 and if you want the 18 course it would be $128. It was a very intimate vibe where they are very attentive toward you. The workers are great and very nice and helpful. We got lost trying to figure out where to park but they answered every question we had when we called multiple times to figure out where it was. So the parking is a bit confusing but they validate parking for 3 hours while you are there. The food was fantastic. The fish was fresh and the flavor was phenomenal. We absolutely love the salmon with hay and the miso black cod as our top favorite ones. The size of everything was great and we were full by the end of the 13 course. It was a great date night vibe area. The front of the shop has pottery and there is even a cafe for them which was such a nice vibe!

We came here on a Friday night during their soft opening, and let me just say... a TIME was had! FYI: They are currently BYOB while they're still working on getting their alcohol license, so plan accordingly! Before I even get into all the details, let's just say THE FOOD WAS AMAZING! The fish was incredibly fresh, and the chef was absolutely top-notch. He was full of energy, hilarious, and kept us laughing the entire night. You could really tell he loves what he does. It made the whole experience that much better! The first course we got was the oysters, and OMG... HEAVEN! It was the perfect bite with oysters, uni, and ikura. Now, I usually don't like ikura because I've had it at other places and it was way too fishy for me, BUT these were actually GOOD! I was pleasantly surprised. Moving on to the rest of the dishes... ALL of the fish were amazing. You could actually taste how fresh the fish was, and I loved that the sauces didn't overpower the natural flavor of the fish. One dish that really stood out to me and honestly caught me by surprise was the Madai. The chef added chili crunch on top, and that was something completely different for me. But MANNNN... it was a HIT! Different but SO GOOD! I also added one extra item the Big Mac and BOYYYY, that is NEVER a disappointment! It was the perfect bite! It's not currently on the menu, but y'all should DEFINITELY ask for it as an add-on. Trust me on this one! Overall, everything we had was delicious and absolutely worth the price. We did the Premium 18-course for $128, and you really can't beat that price for the quality and experience! And this place isn't going to be just about sushi. They'll also be serving coffee and tea during the day! It wasn't open yet when we visited, but I'll definitely be back to check out lunch AND, of course, come back for another omakase experience.

Very nice service with it being very welcoming. The chef was so nice and warm with asking us about what we liked and our preferences. Fish was extremely fresh and delicate while still being filling and refreshing at the same time. Definitely worth the experience and food especially.

matcha latte with miso brown sugar syrup and ube cold foam

On10 was a great cafe experience! There was a long line (about 30 min wait) but it was likely because of Shaky Knees. They had an amazing promo where if you buy 1 ceramic cup you could get a drink for free! The ceramics and handicrafts were all beautiful and fairly priced. I believe the baristas said the ceramics were all imported from Thailand (I could be wrong though). I got a matcha latte with miso brown sugar syrup and ube cold foam. The drinks was delicious and the matcha was freshly whisked. Looking forward to coming back for their omakase experience!!

Had an amazing experience at On10. The food was fresh, beautifully presented, and every bite was delicious. Good people, great service, cool atmosphere, and the sushi was definitely a hit. Would absolutely come back or anywhere else Chef Joe goes!

My favorite sushi in Atlanta hands down. Been here 10 times or more (not joking). I'm worried that…read moreif I tell too many people about it, they'll get too popular and possibly raise prices. Law of supply and demand. But given the elevation in quality of life this establishment has provided me with across the years, I feel I owe them some good marketing through a review. If there was a sushi coefficient of freshness, quality, quantity, and cost, this place wins everyday. C= (Fr*Q*q*c) Fr: 9 Q: 8 q: 10 c: 10 C(Yokohama)= 7200 Don't get me wrong - the competition is fierce for delicious sushi (Fudo, MF sushi, Nobu, all the Omakase scenarios popping up in town). What this means is the cost (c) is way too high, giving it a low 1-5 in the equation. Also, quantity (q) is low, about 4-6. So, the resulting coefficient is very low overall. From my understanding, the fish here only comes from Japan, so it's good stuff - and they really load up the rolls (a lot of the time), and they have this deal on weekend for special rolls (25% off I think). So you do get the quality, quantity, and decent price (about $12-15 per specialty roll). The regular rolls are good too, and loaded with fish. E.g. spicy salmon/tuna. So, if you're looking to go crazy on some good sushi without restraint and without breaking the bank completely, this is your spot. family owned I believe, very nice and efficient service. Cozy/casual, not too fancy, but feels comfortable to dine in. No delivery unfortunately on any app, but that makes quality control better IMO. Thank you for your attention to this manner.

What a great deal - my friends and I decided to check it out and we had a great dinner. Servers were attentive and the food came out in a timely manner. I ordered the Samurai Roll, as well as the Chicken Karaage appetizer. The chicken was sooo good - perfectly, lightly fried with sauce to dip. Tender and flavorful! The Samurai Roll was substantial and I appreciate the generosity of the roll. It was topped with salmon, and usually when rolls are topped with fish, it's usually a pretty thin slice of fish, but these slices of salmon were quite thick in my opinion. The pieces of sushi themselves are also fairly thick - it was a big bite for me to eat each piece in one. I made a reservation in advance and the staff already had my table ready even though I was a little early. The table was already dressed with menus, chopsticks, and some small plates/sauce dishes. Love it when restaurants are on top of it!

After researching…read moremany omakase restaurants, I chose Omakase by Yun because my first visit there was truly memorable -- and once again, they exceeded all expectations. The 15-course menu was a masterpiece from start to finish. Each piece felt like art -- stunning presentation followed by incredible flavor. Every bite melted in my mouth, and the balance between the rice, the fish, and their special secret sauce was perfection. One of the highlights was the Kimi Oboro, prepared using a 200-year-old vinegar technique -- simply remarkable. My sister loved every dish, even falling in love with the pickled ginger! The service was outstanding as well -- two servers took care of us throughout the evening, always greeting us with genuine smiles and impeccable manners. This was probably the best omakase experience I've ever had -- and I've had over a hundred. I'm so glad my sister's first omakase turned into an unforgettable memory. Huge thanks to everyone who served us last night. Highly recommend this place to both first-timers and seasoned sushi lovers alike!

Like a lot of other omakase places the restaurant was a little hard to find since it's pretty much just a door with a small sign and a couple of windows. The service there was phenomenal and I loved the variety for dishes! We had the 17 course meal for $242/person after taxes and tip, which was a little expensive but seemed fair for Atlanta. We started with some apps and my favorite was the oysters. Then most of the courses were various nigiri and ofc my favorites were the fatty tuna and eel. I also really liked the uni even though I usually don't! The presentation for everything was gorgeous and some of the sushi was pretty unique with the flavor pairings. Dinner ended with a small sorbet as dessert and my mom and I were both stuffed. I'll definitely be back for a special occasion :)

A fan$y place to stop for a healthy bite on a layover in the E concourse at ATL Airport…read more Everything I ordered here was delicious. The poke tacos appetizer were light and flaky with a nice avocado sauce, though I wish they had more tuna and were larger. One order is three tiny tacos about two inches wide by one inch tall for $18. The spicy tuna will was also great, nice and spicy with whole tuna (not shredded) and a slight crunch. Anywhere else I would expect to pay $8-10 for that roll, and even given the inflated airport prices I thought $18 for one roll was a little steep. The service was fantastic. My server while seated at the bar, Phil, was engaging, prompt, polite, funny, gave recommendations, etc. The atmosphere is modern, dark, clean. The warm incandescent light, marble tabletops, and wood-look flooring is a nice contrast to the flourescent lit concourse right outside. I gave them 5 stars because nothing was lacking, but the pricing is a little high for what you get.

Service was great, waitress had great recommendations for everyone in her area. She also added sauce on the side for me to try. I ordered lamb couscous plate, forgot the official name of it but lamb was very tender and juicy, cooked to perfection. Couscous was firm but cooked, hummus and tahini flow with that combo very well. My only complaint about this dish is the combo of warm and cold ingredients. Everything was warmed and cooked but the vegetables that were on top, it surprised me for sure. However it was still tasty. They served food and drinks in glass and ceramics, which i am very appreciative of, no plastic water cups, i know that bar is low but that is just a reality nowadays. Good food selection, great customer care, maybe just a tiny bit more attention to the food composition. Would recommend! P.S. My ratings are based on whether I believe I could make a better or healthier version at home. If food/drinks/service impress me, I'll be happy to come back. If not the stars reflect that.

Two of my friends had spoken so highly of it, and after experiencing it for myself, I completely understood why. The food, drinks, atmosphere, and service were absolutely phenomenal. My friend and I came back about three weeks later for happy hour, and in between that birthday dinner and today, she has actually returned 3-4 more times because she lives only about seven minutes away. She has even taken the time to leave multiple positive reviews about Osha Thai because of how much she genuinely enjoys the restaurant. Needless to say, we are both familiar with and supportive of the restaurant. Unfortunately, today's experience missed the mark. As soon as we walked in, the energy just did not feel welcoming. We were really excited to come in for happy hour and sat at the bar from 5-7 PM. The restaurant was extremely slow when we arrived--in fact, we were the only guests there--yet it still took quite a while for the bartender to come over so we could even place our order. My friend was especially looking forward to the mussels, so she ordered those, while I ordered a sushi roll and we each ordered a drink. Unfortunately, she never received her mussels. The bartender, Tony, was not attentive throughout our visit, and we eventually had to get someone else's attention just to ask for our check. When we asked for the check, I made sure to mention that my friend had never received her mussels. The manager, Nick, came over, looked at the tab, and apologized. We explained the situation to him as well, but Tony was still nowhere to be found and never came over to acknowledge what happened or apologize. Nick did offer us a 15% discount card for a future visit, which we appreciated, but honestly, that wasn't really the point. It was about the principle and the overall experience. My friend and I have both worked in the restaurant industry for years, so we completely understand that mistakes happen. We're not expecting perfection. What matters is how those situations are handled, and unfortunately, we left feeling somewhat dismissed rather than valued. Despite everything, we still left a 20% tip because we understand the industry and don't believe one bad experience should define someone's livelihood. I'm sharing this because we genuinely love Osha Thai. My friend has supported this restaurant multiple times, has returned several times, and has posted multiple positive reviews about her experiences. That's why today was especially disappointing. We know Osha Thai is capable of providing the exceptional food, drinks, service, and hospitality that we experienced during the birthday dinner. Hopefully, today was simply an off day. We would love to return and have the experience that made us love Osha Thai in the first place.
