The first time…read moreI had Cquartz finest installed and a partial clear bra. 3 years later, I had them do some more correction and then install Modesta BC-04 (better than Cquartz) and then do a full hood, bumper, side fenders, side view mirrors, and the lip underneath the trunk opening. JC and them did a phenomenal job. His attention to detail and knowledge is amazing. Get information from him and then compare to other places. Other detailers ignorance is astounding, and it will anger you that you've been washing your car wrong this entire time. Especially when I take mine into service and ask how they wash. They just were not taught how to wash. JC and his guys will tell you how to maintain, care, and beautify it for years to come. He won't upsell you and wont overcharge. You can tell that the team's heart and soul is in every car. But there should never be a question about whether to go or not. Merely when. It is more than a regular "detail" shop. I researched everything online from C-Quartz, Modesta, Paint Correction, Wraps...you name it. Needless to say it can be confusing, frustrating and overwhelming with all of the different products available on the market. Then, I came across Jean-Claude with DD Auto Spa and thank goodness I did. I met him at his shop one afternoon and he explained all of my options and the pros and cons of each. Since I had done so much research, he was extremely patient and forthcoming with his recommendations, but never ever pushed anything on me. After some time to absorb after our initial meeting, I decided going for the full car coverage of XPEL Stealth Film. Now, while it may cost more up front, it was worth the investment knowing I will hold on to this car long-term and this was the most protective, yet least maintenance option and gave me the look I was going for. Initially it was estimated 5 full days for install, but after they started tearing down and installing the first panels, it ended up taking another week, but JC kept me up to speed with his daily progress and was always in constant contact. While that could be upsetting for some, to me it said that this is a person who is not rushing through just to get paid and move onto their next job. When he does it, he does it right and will NOT compromise quality for quantity. Truly hard to find that type of dedication these days. When I picked up my car today, we went over every part meticulously. JC pointed out spots that contained some pockets of air, but that they should work themselves out while the film settles in. We scheduled a follow up call a few weeks out to assess any concerns or areas that may need attention. If you want a first class auto detailer, you must call Jean-Claude as I could not be happier with his professional crew or outcome of my six! SirusXM doesn't work unless you buy an adapter and I wasn't told this until after the fact. Knobs are now hard to turn and sticky. I asked to be fixed and they informed me they will loosen up over time. Overall good clean install and a big upgrade to my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I would use Monster Customs again. I had almost fooled myself into believing that they were toast and that was a good enough reason for me to go in debt and replace them. After speaking with my man Javi (Store manager) I decided to allow Luminex the opportunity to bring them back to life with a new gun metal powder coat with clear. Might as well go ahead and have them put some Candy Apple Red on the brake calipers while exposed. Couldn't be more happy with the finish product. I had an appointment on a Saturday morning at Alpha (sister shop) but when I arrived, it was…read moreclosed. I texted the main number and got an immediate call back from Mo over at Luminex who apologized and ask me to come to the Luminex shop and they would get me taken care of. The shops are within a mile of each other so no trouble at all. I purchased a Groupon for the Nano Ceramic on the front two windows. I saw a previous review that stated Groupons can only be used during the week. I did not have this experience. There were no issues using it at all. Note: Groupons are good for I believe 35% tinting. You can upgrade this for$50. Mo was great in showing me all options and even let me look through the back windows of his car so I could see the amount of light blockage. It was overcast at the time so it was super helpful because it made me realize, what I wanted to do for my back windows would be much too dark for my vision issues and night time driving. He wasn't pushy or tried to upsell aggressively as some places normally would. In the end, I decided to only do my front windows and windshield to start with. I wanted all windows to be uniform so did 20% on the front windows to match the back, 70% on the windshield and added a 5% strip in the top 6 inches of the windshield. Great news is that there's a 3 year warranty! So I was able to purchase worry free! The windshield was $175 and the added strip was $50. The prices are great in comparison to what I've paid for tinting on other SUVs. From the outside it looks excellent. From the inside you definitely feel the temperature and light difference. Right now it still needs to cure so there are some blurry spots but I was assured with leaving it in the sun for as long as I can this would clear up. Tips I was given was to not roll the windows down, don't use the defroster, and only use the foot level AC for a few days. It's also really nice they placed a DO NOT ROLL DOWN sticker across the window buttons as a reminder. If the tinting doesn't clear up, I'll comeback and amend the review but I have all faith that they will be great! Thanks, Mo!
