The first time I had Cquartz finest installed and a partial clear bra. 3 years later, I had them do some more correction and then install Modesta BC-04 (better than Cquartz) and then do a full hood, bumper, side fenders, side view mirrors, and the lip underneath the trunk opening. JC and them did a phenomenal job. His attention to detail and knowledge is amazing. Get information from him and then compare to other places. Other detailers ignorance is astounding, and it will anger you that you've been washing your car wrong this entire time. Especially when I take mine into service and ask how they wash. They just were not taught how to wash. JC and his guys will tell you how to maintain, care, and beautify it for years to come. He won't upsell you and wont overcharge. You can tell that the team's heart and soul is in every car. But there should never be a question about whether to go or not. Merely when. It is more than a regular "detail" shop. Then again these aren't people that are off the streets part time, they are truly professionals in their field and are always refining and updating their methods when it comes to skill and technology of car care. About a month ago, I started to research how to correct swirl marks and paint flaws on my BMW 6-Series. I researched everything online from C-Quartz, Modesta, Paint Correction, Wraps...you name it. Needless to say it can be confusing, frustrating and overwhelming with all of the different products available on the market. Then, I came across Jean-Claude with DD Auto Spa and thank goodness I did. I met him at his shop one afternoon and he explained all of my options and the pros and cons of each. Since I had done so much research, he was extremely patient and forthcoming with his recommendations, but never ever pushed anything on me. After some time to absorb after our initial meeting, I decided going for the full car coverage of XPEL Stealth Film. Now, while it may cost more up front, it was worth the investment knowing I will hold on to this car long-term and this was the most protective, yet least maintenance option and gave me the look I was going for. Initially it was estimated 5 full days for install, but after they started tearing down and installing the first panels, it ended up taking another week, but JC kept me up to speed with his daily progress and was always in constant contact. While that could be upsetting for some, to me it said that this is a person who is not rushing through just to get paid and move onto their next job. When he does it, he does it right and will NOT compromise quality for quantity. Truly hard to find that type of dedication these days. When I picked up my car today, we went over every part meticulously. JC pointed out spots that contained some pockets of air, but that they should work themselves out while the film settles in. We scheduled a follow up call a few weeks out to assess any concerns or areas that may need attention. First-class work. Exemplary service. From the very beginning, 6 months before I even picked up my new car at the Porsche Experience Center, I had already contacted Jean-Claude regarding options. He always made himself available for any questions, and for off-hour calls since there was a 6-hour time-zone difference then. The work scope was comprehensive: a full-body wrap along with Modesta coating, including wheels. In addition, I paid for a roughly foot x foot vinyl decal to be placed on each side of the car. This was a personal highlight for me, as the resulting image and placement were spot-on. The final result - everything - was stunning. I had chosen Detailed Designs Auto Spa based on their prior Yelp reviews, and to be honest, I was just slightly skeptical of their perfect 5-stars. I was completely blown away with Jean Claude and Detailed Designs Auto Spa. Not only by the finished product, but by the entire process. Before any commitment on my part for any work, JC spent 30-45 mins going over the entire car with me and explaining what he saw. Let me start out by saying that I am planning to show my car and did my due diligence on who I was going to hire to buff out some swirl marks and minor surface scratches and install the clear bra on my 2013 Shelby Cobra GT500 with black paint and white stripes. I personally met and interviewed several other guys in and around the Atlanta market who are the so called experts at installing clear bra's on Porches, Lexus, Lambo's and other exotic expensive cars. What I came to find out was they all service car dealerships as their main business and do what they call side jobs for guys like me. What I found out in talking to them was they were all busy servicing their cookie cutter dealership cars and would try and work me into their schedule after hours and things like that. What I also found to be most interesting when I asked them "how long will it take to do the front end of my car and the answer was always around 3 hours." And to beat it all, all of them except Jean Claude from Detailed Designs recommended they just install clear bra in one solid piece over the white striping on the hood and bumper which would end up looking really bad in the areas where the white striping ends because there would end up being a gap where the clear bra overlays where the striping and paint join and would end up showing really bad due to the height differences of the stripes and paint. After doing my homework on who I was going to hire to do this job, I decided to take my car to Jean Claude at Detailed Designs. He is very professional and explained everything to me and told me that my car was not an easy job dealing with the stripes, emblems, front bumper, etc... and he knew up front that I was looking for a show quality finish. He had my car for a week and when I picked it up, I was amazed at how it looked and the job he did. One thing I learned is there are cheaper guys out there and will slap on the clear bra in a matter of hours but you will ultimately end up getting what you paid for. One of the most important things I liked about him is that he is a perfectionist (much like me) and will treat your car as if it was his own exotic show car and will not let it go out the door until it is done right. read more

I bought the car while in NY (from a Georgia dealer), traveled down after JC took care of it and drove it back to NY. The whole process was easy. As has been mentioned by others, JC's shop is highly recommended in the Porsche community. I brought my C2S here for a full ppf install and he did not disappoint. In addition he was super helpful before and after the job was done. A ppf install is something you want done by a pro, as it can look bad if the installer cuts corners. The standards here are the highest around. I would not hesitate to bring my next car here as well. read more

My friends say that I am OCD about my vehicles. They're wrong. Here's the issue: 1) They don't understand mental disorders and 2) much less how a car's paint and finish work. I am just a misunderstood perfectionist who cares about his baby. Two quick examples: - Every time I *must* take my car in for scheduled, in-warranty service, I ask the service advisor to make certain that my baby will be exempt from their complimentary "swirl-wash". Because they're barbarians. - I try not to carry people, but if I have to, I open the door for them. Even if it's a dude (with obligatory "no homo" disclaimer). The issue is, friends don't pay attention. They'll open a door and hit a wall, or scratch the surface behind the handle when they go grab it. Thus, I open the door for them. So you see, when I tell you that I leave my baby in Jean Claude's hands for a whole day without worrying a bit about her, you inevitably conclude that JC must be a special person, with very particular skills, mindset, tools and expertise. And you'd be correct. If it weren't for the fact that I like to learn about new detailing technologies and products, I wouldn't even pay attention to what he's doing to her, because it would be sacrilegious. And speaking of detailing solutions and technologies, some of the products available today are truly amazing. JC has the latest and greatest, and being a true enthusiast like us he naturally keeps up with the market and excitedly shows me a new liquid with magical powers every time I visit. The best part about the way JC runs his business is that he couldn't care less about the type of car you have, its conditions or the size of the job. This man loves cars so much that his enthusiasm when presented with a new project or technical question would be impossible to hide. Not that he tries, either. Last but not least: honesty. I've witnessed (on multiple occasions, too) customers bringing rare, freshly restored 250k+ vintage cars to JC's shop and asking for a Platinum detailing job right before a show; only to have JC recommend a less expensive detailing package based on the vehicle's conditions. It was something along the lines of "I would love to do a Platinum Detail job on this car, but see here? And here? Look at it from this angle... looks like the body-shop sprayed the clear coat before correcting these [tiny] paint blemishes. I can't justify selling you a Platinum, the judges will pick up on these. But we can do an "X" level detail job. Saves you money and will yield the best results for this particular vehicle. What do you think?" Now, seriously... who does that? A honest businessman, that's who. So take your baby to JC without thinking twice about it. I'm one month into my new Tesla Model S85 and couldn't be happier. With black paint and after reading all the great info online I decided to invest in clear bra film and a Modesta glass coating. I also had Modesta applied to the stock Tesla wheels. Honestly, the results are stunning and I now have serious appreciation for how great a jet black car can look when the right finish is properly cared for. And while I'm still sensitized to road chips, dings, etc... I know I've got great coverage for the small stuff. Jean-Claude Corcoran at Detailed Designs Auto Spa did the work for me and was awesome. He was patient as I decided what to do, set my expectations extremely well, and was a master at execution and finish work. I began researching paint protection before taking delivery of my GT4. In the past, I had a clear bra placed on my 2008 M3, but the install was less than optimal. For this reason, I knew that I had to find the right person for the job. In my research, the one name that kept appearing was Jean-Claude of Detailed Designs Auto Spa. I believe that every single review (and there are a lot of them) was 5 stars. Also, each review was practically a page long, so I knew this shop was legitimate. I live over an hour away and could only meet with Jean-Claude on a Saturday. He has a family and lives 30 minutes from his shop, but he had no problem meeting me on his day off. In fact, he met me 2 weeks later on a Saturday so that I could pick up my car. He explained all my options in detail and never seemed rushed. It is obvious that he is a true car enthusiast and loves his work. I am a bit OCD but not to the level as Jean-Claude (and this is a good thing if you are a customer). On the Monday after I dropped my car off, I decided on a major order change. There was no issue just complete understanding and accommodation. I opted for the XPEL Ultimate PPF with the track package as well as the nano coat and the wheel protection. I could not be happier. As has been stated by others, Detailed Designs is not the cheapest shop in town, but it is definitely the best. My daughter had a 6 month old Black Lexus IS-250 that had a sealant put on it at purchase from a Lexus dealer in Atlanta. A few months after she had it, pine tar got on the car. I hired a detailer in Atlanta to remove the tar, and in the process, it was left with a lot of swirl marks and other paint defects. I was told the car would have to be repainted. Not wanting to repaint a 6 month old Lexus, I started looking for someone who might could repair it. After a lot of research, I found JC at Detailed Designs Auto Spa. Both my daughter and I took the car to JC for him to look at, and he felt he could restore the paint with his Gold Package. After a lot of conversations with him, we elected to have him do this. It took about two weeks, but the car came out looking better than when we purchased it. All of the swirl marks were gone, along with the small scratches that had gotten in the paint. The black paint sparkled. I also had him do his interior package, and although it was only six months old, it came out looking better than when we bought it. I would highly recommend JC for the services he offers. He doesn't pressure you, or try to oversell you on anything. He also gives you great advice on how to care for the car as well as the products to use. I learned a lot of "what not to do" that is consistently done all the time by most detail companies. I had heard John Claude was the best in the business from all of the places I had asked around. When I contacted him he was busy wrapping a 918 out west. Anyone flown around the country to wrap cars has to be doing something right. I dropped off my car to discover what people meant by OCD. JC is more than detailed. He's a near perfectionist. I was so impressed I dragged a family member's Tesla and they got equally as excellent results. Though a bit expensive, it was well worth it. JC goes out of his way to communicate at every point of the process, which was very refreshing after some of my experiences. I ended up doing a front-wrap with a polymer wax coating to protect the rest, as this was more budget conscious than a full wrap and Modesto coating. My '15 M3 never looked better. I even had some unfortunate luck when I first brought it home and scraped the curb by accident. JC let me come back within a few days and fixed me up and reinforced it within two hours. Very impressed with the result, but even more impressed with JC and his team. Really stand up guys that genuinely care about their customers and their vehicles equally. I would refer anyone there whether for a wrap, a coating, or detail work. He even went out of his way to fix blemishes inside my car, and wrapped a part for me that didn't end up fitting. When we ran into a stumbling block, he called me right away to see how to proceed, even though he was busy halfway across the country. Absolutely recommend any service you can get through DDAS. I will say they took their time--nearly 2 weeks--wrapping my car, but I would hope that a detail place spares no expense in time or cost to get it right. I met these guys out at Caffeine and Exotics. I had a dealership installed bra on my car and was never happy with how visible it was. I asked their tech to come over and look my car over.and was very impressed with his comments and attention to detail. He then called the owner, Jean Claude over to meet me. J.C. took the time to tell me about what he could do to not only improve the look of my car but also protect the finish. I took my car out to him the next day for a complete front wrap bra. He had told me about nano-coating the day before. I read up on it before taking my car in and was a bit hesitant to spend the money on it, but decided to go for it. When my car was ready I could not believe how smooth and glass like the finish was. I Could not tell where the bra started and finished and the entire car looked better than when I purchased it the year before. Fast forward a few days and it is raining like crazy. My car looked so good I really didn't want to take it out in the rain. Well I just go home after a long day of rain, which finally stopped on the way home, pulled into the garage and got out to look at the car and could not believe my eyes. It looked like I just had the car washed. I could go on an on, but bottom line go see Jean-Claude, let him educate you on what he does and his products and then turn him loose on your ride.
