Awful communication. In fact there is zero communication. Received a gift card from a friend of mine. I have tried to call three separate times and email once over the course of three weeks and have not heard anything back. I have called at all hours of the day so there is literally no excuse. I've left voicemails all three times and nothing. What kind of business model is this when you cannot even communicate? It's ridiculous. I would not recommend them and and am now fighting to try to get my friend's money refunded.... If I can ever get anyone to answer. read more

Sud Studs came out today and I paid for the mid level package on two vehicles, $400 worth. They did a very sub par job. I had to show them some areas they missed several times. There is wax left all over one of the vehicles and one of them was not even vacuumed. (They did vacuum the truck once I pointed it out to them.) I showed them one area with bugs all over it and they still missed. My truck is a 2017 and it washed weekly, it's not that hard to wash it because it stays very clean. They may be ok for a decent hand wash, but they are not detail professionals. Car detailing is an an art and it takes a lot of experience to be proficient at it. Suds studs are not quite there yet. To top it off they left without checking in with me, they were ready to go and didn't want anything else pointed out. To me this says that they are not concerned with customer service. I feel like this is below average service for an above average price. Save your money and go to a regular hand car wash. read more

Do NOT do business with this unethical shady business. I paid $300 for detailing services back in October 2013. It has taken me this long to write a review because I was hoping and waiting for justice to be served. However, now I realize it will never happen. Two employees of The Sud Studs, Inc. came out to my aunt's home in Atlanta, October 2013. They spilled a chemical on my leather seat and discolored it. They called the owner, Jake Franco, on the phone. Jake stated he would repair the damage. I live in South Georgia. Via email correspondence Jake agreed to repair my seat when I returned to the Atlanta area. We scheduled a date in December 2013. I waited at the agreed location for an hour. No one showed up. I called Jake, he stated the person called in sick. We rescheduled for the next day. The next day I waited 30 minutes, again no show. I called Jake again. He stated he had to let that person go. He informed me to get the seat repaired from a third party and send a bill. I went back home to South GA, got an estimate, sent it and never heard back from Jake again. I took Jake Franco owner of The Sud Studs, Inc. to Fulton County Magistrate Court in September 2014 and won my case despite the fact that the registered agent of The Sud Studs, Inc. and attorney are one in the same, the father of Jake Franco, Lenny Franco. Lenny Franco, by profession is an attorney. To date (05/07/16), I have not received payment despite numerous attempts. I feel as though I will never receive payment because the owner's father is a lawyer. I have spent more money in legal fees than my awarded judgment amount at this point. I warn anyone contemplating conducting business with The Sud Studs, Inc. to find a business with a higher standard of morals, whom values their customers and doesn't leave people worse off than where they started. Don't use Sud Studs if you want a full detail (meaning full detail). I was charged $600 and ended up paying over $400 for a marine service in which this company didn't turn on their buffer one time (based on witnesses to my job). After confronting the owner, a repair job was attempted, but no further detailing progress was made and I ended up having to pay 2-3x what I would have paid for an equivalent Mr. Clean detailing generic cleaning job. I would HIGHLY discourage anyone to use this company as they not only don't perform the job described, but also bully you into payment prior to verifying the job performed. After having my car shipped from California to Georgia it was in desperate need of a wash! I opted to get a basic detail from Sud Studs. They were able to fit me in within a day. I believe Cody did my detail with another guy. * My car was sparkling inside and out in about 1.5 hours and he was nice enough to even install my new weather tech mats *I had another car that had just been detailed, but needed a quick rinse. They were able to wash my other car within the time frame and just add the cost on to my original service. When my car needs another detail in about 6 months I will definitely call Sud Studs to come out again and work on my car. read more

Don't think my car has looked this good since it rolled off the lot before I even owned it! I was initially hesitant to spend what I spent for the detail but I was blown away at what was achieved. I'm amazed and I've never seen my Acura so shiny and new! Thanks fellas! read more

I used this place because of a living social deal. They are a mobile company. It took about 2 weeks for them to come out (they were really booked because of the deal). I really appreciated that they come to you. That is really convenient! They have everything they need right in the van. The owner Jake Franco is really a nice guy...I wish HE actually detailed my car. As usual, I'll keep it fair Yelpers, driving from Chicago, I had a few bugs left on the car, I had lots of tar, some tree sap and yucky brake dust. The GOOD: they got MOST of it off! The BAD: (now keep in mind that this is just my experience, I'm sure others faired better) there were still sap stains on my hood (I got those off myself with a little hand sanitizer), there was still tar left in several places (I got that off myself with a little WD40) and most of the brake dust was still on (I used Meg's Wheel Brightener to get that off). The inside needed to be re-vacuumed after I asked the 2 kids to take the air compressor and stick the nozzle between the seat and arm rest and blow that dirt right on out The UGLY: While buffing my vehicle, they got my rear light too. When I brought it to their attention, I was told that was just wax and a buffer wouldn't make swirly marks (LMAO). Dudes, I wasn't even going crazy about it, I was just like, its totally cool (I'll get the marks out later with toothpaste with whitening, no biggie)! I just wanted an acknowledgement that they made a MISTAKE! Guess what, it's human to err but it takes a real "dbag" to NOT own up to it. As a matter of fact, for everything I pointed out, there was a barrage of excuses with no apology or anything...I hate poor customer service, seriously, I do... Now, you are probably thinking "she knows a lot about cars, why doesn't she just detail her own?) Well a couple of things: I know a lot of things that I can do myself and REALLY well, but that doesn't mean that I always want to do them. I subscribe to Living Social and take advantage of many of their opportunities to give businesses a chance to earn a new customer (A true blue American I guess huh, lol) PLUS I never had a car detailed before I wanted to know what was it like and to see if it made a difference and negative experiences aside, I'd say getting a car detailed at least once a year is a smart idea. These guys are the BEST! The inside of my car was covered in mud, random spills from my kids, you name it. When these guys got through with my car, it looked brand new - every nook and cranny is clean and sparkling, and every stain came out of the seats and carpets - I couldn't believe it! Last week, we had an important event for Chevrolet and our client had provided us the wrong date and instead needed the cars cleaned immediately. I am so busy and can't find time to take my car after work, this being mobile really made a big difference. I called and spoke with who seemed to be he owned and he was very informative. The detail job was not inexpensive but it was the best cleaning service I've never had. The concept of the service is great, strong men cleaning my car. Sold. I recommend this service to anyone that really needs a deep clean for your car-- I got exterior and it really made my car look like new. I will be using them again. read more

Called Sud Studs to do a Presidential detail on my truck. At the time I informed them that I had a lot of scratching and swirls from an amateur wash and it would need a solid two-part polish and wax per the scope of the Presidential. They arrived late for our appointment and were frankly unprepared to do the job, expressing doubt in their own ability to address the swirls and scratches with the equipment on board. The gentleman that arrived was kind and courteous and wanted to help but I told them that if they couldn't address the swirls there was no sense in doing anything and he would be better off just leaving. He requested to wash the vehicle first and to test to see if the polish worked first. I agreed but the test on the hood proved they did not have either the correct supplies, equipment, know-how or a combination of the three to address the swirls and I decided to cut the detail short and cut my losses. I requested we cut the job off given their inability to do the job and after a call to the office to see what type of discount could be offered given it was just a wash I was told it would be $200 of the original $250 though they did offer a wipe down of the door jambs. While this was IMO way too much given their inability to address a situation that I specifically told them about on our first call I ultimately payed for the $200 car wash but told them to just pack up and go. I took my truck to Avrils on Roswell Road 2 days later and for another $250 detail they were able to correct the issue and make a 10 year old truck look new. One star because the guy was really nice and one star because I got to learn the lesson (the hard way at $200) to always use the guys that have been in the same place for 40 years instead of something new but I can't recommend using Sud Studs again. Trust your vehicle to pro's even if that means driving to them. read more

Jake has now told me he would come out to rectify the situation 3x and has yet to show up. Friday, then Saturday and then Sunday. This needs to be documented so that when the paint job on my vehicle due to the wax left on it for over a week has not been removed (I have pictures) and it ruins my paint I will not be responsible. I tried calling and texting Jake when he said he would show up and NO ANSWER. Jake has no integrity to finish a job that was done incorrectly by his employees and will not fix the situation. I could have gotten a better car wash for $10 rather than $300+. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! You will be sorry! read more
