I then emailed the pictures Javier took to the manufacturer, Corsa, and as it turns out JM installed it upside down. Javier, the owner, was paid over $7k for labor on an OEM engine rebuild, yet my performance car left the shop with a dead battery and a coolant leak. Not only did the shop owner try to weasel out of the 'warranty' by telling me I would have to pay for a coolant system repair, but he overbilled me. After agreeing on a rate of $125/hr the final bill states $169/hr which created about $1000 profit. Irresponsible comes from leaving my car smelling like shop oil/grease. Every time I go to the shop I'm getting the run around about why this not complete. So I send my tow truck after It's obvious these folks are wasting my time. He try to double my balance I owe. I put my paperwork together with a family attorney and he told me I better go get my Truck NOW! They had a old nasty lady in the front. She accused me of taking my parts from the shop. It's always a new face working there every other week. Also some of my parts were misplaced in this shop and Larry told me he didn't have my parts. That's when the old nasty lady accused me of taking them. When they saw how angry I was getting about my parts his help started locating everything that was missing while Im snapping. RED FLAG! From there is was downhill. If you white they might do you Right. Larry thought he was gonna over charge me so I couldn't afford to get my truck back from him. Nice Try but he can't play with me. I still ended up giving him a extra 250 but he definitely wasn't getting that extra 600 he typed up. One minute he say we gonna keep his boss David out of it. Next minute, he needs to call David to get pricing approval when I say he's overpricing the job from our original bill. Larry was so mad to see my truck leaving that shop he didn't want to watch.
