They stated multiple times over the years that their "classic car guy" was an expert and could handle a classic car. For the first 5 years of living in atlanta, I took my classic mercedes here until they finally told me their classic car guy was leaving and they wouldn't touch my car going forward. Frankly, they did 5 years of changing my oil and nothing else but they'd charge me for what they called "regular maintenance". Regular maintenance on a classic car should include a lot more than just topping up the oil and calling it a day, but every time I'd mention knocking noises or brake issues or anything else to them, they wouldn't address it at all so I had no idea if they thought it was an issue or didn't. Finally 5 years later, thank god their classic car guy left, because I took it over to a place in Decatur and all of the things I had been worried about, they found a reason, they gave me a full breakdown online of what they recommended and why, they answered all of my questions, and I could pay the invoice online and feel good about it. Update: As of 9:30 p.m., Jacob, the owner, repeatedly called and texted me after my review. He first falsely claimed I'd only visited once four years ago, then offered to pay me, which I refused. After that, he pulled up what he claimed were years of invoices that were not real, despite the fact that I have the original receipts for my own transactions. Even after I repeatedly told him to stop contacting me, he continued until I had to block his number. Based on both my experience and his behavior afterward, I would never recommend this business.

Jay diagnosed mine and explained everything in plain English without being patronizing. He's very responsive to messages, gave an honest assessment and didn't try to overcharge or upsell me. The mechanic said the belt was structurally intact and looked new but was responsible for the sound. He said he sprayed it with WD 40 which eliminated the sound but informed me it would come back eventually. He told me I could replace the belt to eliminate the sound permanently or I could pass on replacing the belt as it was still functioning properly and brand new. Definitely a mechanic I will be back to visit as I know they are not trying to stick me with random charges for parts I don't need.

After my early check-in, I sat in the waiting area for about two hours, watching and listening to the manager interacting with customers. My observations? Friendly, matter-of-fact, clear. Andy explained everything going on with his client's cars. He made recommendations, and more importantly, noted what didn't need to be done. He gave accurate representations about when services would be completed. For my car, he got the part quickly and told me they had looked over the whole car and only found one repair that needed to be made (besides my originating situation). He was accurate in his honesty, because I already knew I was needing a new rear brake job in the next month. While my car was being repaired, I walked around downtown Decatur. I reacquainting myself with some old, and mostly new, businesses and restaurants. I arrived back at the repair shop in the mid-afternoon, just after they finished repairing the car.
