Six Star has kept my 2006 Subaru Forester running like a dream. I just completed a 1800 mile driving trip without a single car issue. Everyone there is personable & professional. As long as I have this car, I will only take it to Six Star; and when it's time to get another car, I'll be giving serious consideration to another Subaru because these guys are the BEST and I doubt I will find another shop this reliable & honest. read more

The whole team is fantastic. I've had quite a few repairs done on my Outback that 6Star have handled professionally and with true quality. Prices are very fair for the services offered. We purchased a used 2015 Subaru Crosstrek at a local dealership. We asked Six Star Service to perform a post-purchase inspection, and they identified a number of issues that the dealer had either missed or ignored. Most notably, a bad wheel bearing, which could have been a major safety issue. Andy broke the bad news in a kindhearted way that reminded me of a doctor with a great bedside manner. This gave me the info I needed to negotiate with the dealer to replace the bearing. My only regret is that I did not go to Six Star Service for a PRE-purchase inspection. I'm telling all my friends with Subarus that this is the place in Atlanta for Subaru maintenance and PPIs. read more

The Six Star team is extremely skilled, knowledgeable about all the quirks that Subarus come with, and kind. They've always taken the time to break out the cost of every service and repair I've taken my car in for, and I never feel condescended to (which is huge -- especially when you're a chick). Cannot recommend them more! read more

these guys have been taking care of my 2015 Forester since my dealership warranty expired. they are a big part of the reason I'm purchasing another one. the professionalism, kind hearted, reasonable and respectful crew is just the best. Six Star is amazing! That do great work and have excellent communication. 100% recommend!

I recently took my Outback to Six Star Subaru Service for the first time for the 60k service and to a have a few other small items addressed. I had been contemplating trading up for a newer model but decided to stay with my 2018 and wanted to make sure she was receiving great care by some folks who really know Subarus. I requested a quote online and received a prompt call back from Rob with a fair estimate and timeframe for the work to be done. I could not have been more pleased with the professionalism and care I received at Six Star Subaru Service! Everyone was friendly from the moment I walked in. I feel all my questions were answered quickly and truthfully and my car was well cared for. Rob was upfront about some expenses that I did not need to incur just yet. I drove up from the Southside of Atlanta to try out Six Star. It was well worth the drive. I will entrust the care of my car here from now on! read more

I was nervous about switching my Subaru service from a dealer, having always used a dealer out of state, then in Atlanta. But I'm so glad I did. The response time at Six Star is so fast and they give everything a glance over every time I come in, no matter what for. Consequently, they identify any potential upcoming maintenance. Love this place! read more

I 100% recommend Six Star to anyone with a Subaru. The team are extremely knowledgeable, skilled, good people and easy to work with. They will always call to go over the issue (or surprise issues) and break down the charges so you know what to expect. I wouldn't take my Subaru anywhere else. 10/10 read more

i have utilized the services of Six Star Subaru Service for over five years now. Today's routine service was just as comprehensive, informative, and professional as every other. The artistically eclectic waiting area is superior to many coffee shops in which I happily loiter...sadly, their over all efficiency today did not allow me as much time as I would've liked to enjoy my coffee, have a Luna bar and read my book! I vote for adding a coffee shop (The Pleiades) to this already wonderful business! But seriously, the ongoing maintenance of my ten year old Outback by a trustworthy, witty and knowledgeable team, is worth a ton in peace of mind and my general health and welfare on the highways and byways of Metro Atlanta. This auto repair shop is like no other that I have patronized. Thank you. read more

I love this place! They always do such wonderful work on my Subaru. The Technicians at Six Star Subaru Service are all excellent. They only work on Subarus and are current and state-of-the-art in everything Subaru-related. Andy Paterson and Rob Hartle handle the customers and the front office. They are both so nice and so helpful. They keep you informed about your car while it's being worked on. If there's something new that needs to be addressed right away they immediately let you know. If it's something that can be pushed out to a future date so you can budget for it, they'll tell that as well. These people are honest and nice and do good work. As an older, single woman I really appreciate them. It's very nice to make a cup of coffee in their Waiting Room and relax and read a book. I no longer worry about my car. I highly recommend Six Star Subaru Service. This is a wonderful company and do excellent work. read more

I came down to Atlanta to visit some friends and family and while I was driving on I-75 I got a low air alert and watched my tire pressure on one of my tires plummet. I pulled over and changed my tire but one of my bolts got stuck on the post and sheered it off. I searched for a Subaru shop and luckily found this one. They were able to fit me in even though I could only leave the car with them after 3pm and when I was expecting a very expensive repair it was an excellent cost, especially considering that I couldn't have driven back home safely without it! I wish I had a shop like this back home. They definitely deserved six stars from me! read more

No one knows Subarus better!! They are the best! Ask for Andy and you'll be glad you did. My car is turning 9 and running as well as always.

Have had many great experiences with the work done at Six Star Service. The work is always done correctly and in a timely and professional manner. Last year I had a problem with my air conditioning, instead of pushing me to a costly repair, they fixed a leak monitored it and saved me a great deal of money. Highly recommend them. read more

I came here because of the great reviews, and I am disappointed to have to write this. The Subaru dealership service departments brought me here, as I have been through 4 of them. All strange and lengthy episodes of misdiagnosis at the dealerships. I am starting to question the 'best car to own' title the Subaru has earned, starting from the day I drove away with my brand new 2019 Outback. I brought my car in to 6Star because of a 'whirling' noise in the back right. Wheel bearings need replaced. It took longer than expected so they gave me a rental. Awesome. I think it was because they didn't get started with it so late in the Friday. 3 months later, same noise. Warranty! Bring it in. Except this time, they said it was the right wheel. But wait? The old receipt didn't specify which side they replaced?!? Even though, same noise, same side, I have to pay for another wheel bearing. And BTW , I report another noise, in the front (a rattle every time I roll over bumps) 6Star says it is my struts. Not a hazard at this point. But next time.... 6 months later. Time for struts. The rattle noise in the front is bad now. Bring the car in, new stuts. Oh and I need brakes. Needless to say, I have now spent over $3,000 on my car. 3 months later, same front rattle noise. They have the 1 year warranty so no problem, bring it in. But no rentals available, even though I set up the appointment a month in advance. I have to camp out at the 6 Star. (While I was in there, they offered a rental to someone else). It turns out the noise is not the struts, it is a Subaru Service Bulletin! Rob brings it out and explains, since so many Subarus are having this issue, they put out the Bulletin. (Note! I have had at least 3 of my Sub friends complain of the same thing) They don't carry the parts. It's not covered by warranty. I have to come back. Needless to say, I feel ripped off. Was the strut diagnosis wrong? Who knows, but now I have to pay another mechanic $100 just to look and see if all the work 6Star did was actually done. For those who made it this far, it is SUBARU SERVICE BULLETIN NUMBER 5-88-21. Front Stabilizer Bushing. I was so hoping 6Star was the savior. Not. read more

Very helpful and professional. Reasonable rates. As an older woman, I appreciate their skill and honesty.

Andy and his team helped us make an informed decision about what to do with our 2018 Outback. I highly recommend them! read more

Professional prompt and get the job done properly the first time. I will never go to a dealer again!

We've been taking our cars to Six Star for over 10 years. In fact, when buying a new car I barely consider getting anything but a Subaru because I don't trust any other mechanics the way I trust Six Star. They are always honest and won't try to con you into a repair you don't need, and do an amazing job. Our 2012 outback is still going strong because of them! read more

I was out of town when the engine light on my crosstrek came on. After getting a crazy high quote from the dealership in the area, I called Andy and he took the time to review the recommended repairs for me since I had taken my car to Six Stars for a major service the year prior. He actually took the time to review what needed to be done, and when I got back in town I took it straight to him + team and they fixed it for a fraction of the cost. I really appreciated them taking time to ensure I understood what was actually being done. Thank you Six Stars Subaru!! read more
