I've been coming to this nail salon, even induration of changes name(s), owner(s), etc., quite…read morefriendly and initially, they did everything expected and little add ons, which was great! Nowadays, it's difficult, to get same day appts and watching them take walk-ins is little frustrating. My daughter and I made appts to come in for mom+daughter time, we were separated almost entire time. And, even at end; she's made attempts; let me know she's done. Beware, price gouging; a) pedicure is set price, being advertised (false advertising?) anyhow, I came in to have pedicure and/or part of any offers (i.e., mani-pedi price, shellac-pedi price) are all set amounts. For my first experience, pedicure was exactly advertised with shellac at set price. I've found, it depends upon "nail tech" taking care of you. However my last nail tech, lazy, she did not follow details, as listed/advertised, scrub bottoms of my feet and repeatedly, reminding her to do, specific details (+unaware, an extra charge $5) cuticles are to be pushed back (use wooden sticks), it should not be painful, as customer never hurt/bleed with use of specific oil to soften, cut ok sorry, meant clear extra skin the cuticles. It then allows, lacquer and/or nail polishes or whatever being used and closer at your natural areas. It can be as soon, as after pushing back, usually later while doing whatever you need, hours later and washing hands, lotion, etc., then pushed cuticles that are left (don't worry, grows quickly) will begin, to grow, as usual. If, done correctly, it should begin to meet or even cover polished areas. These days at these pop-up salons, even upon request, doing it after everything has been done, deceit. In past, when your hands are stuck in bowls from beginning, barely allowing it to soak; they begin process of whatever has been requested. For me, my skin grows rampantly; I've come out to look at them, it's obvious and even after you leave/go home and you take notice; call salon; and any reputable salon will if I pay extra $5, they always do it at the end, they will not even care, nor give idea it is necessary step in providing manicure and pedicure give you an idea that they have observed, every step, due to cost(s) and longevity, as they use stainless steel ones so they can clean it & barely touches, it's like "act" do have you begin after capable to experience was more of foot soak and paint nails. Now, I have received several pedicures (in my lifetime and usually, regular pedicures, includes: tiny massage with lotion and definitely, removed all calluses, scrubs bottoms of feet, cuticles pushed & cut. All of which, did NOT occur induration of my so-called "pedincluded scrubs bottoms of feet don't tell you up at certain amount, , They took care of everything, used to frequently visit, every two weeks and didn't need an appointment and it was never problem if, you don't have an appointment. I would be there, fairly long, taking my time, my body isn't what it used to be. As of late, I've heard, from my neighbors, even with an appointment, there is long wait and changes with, multiple technicians. Advice: whether you have an appointment or not, avoid weekends and/or come earlier in the day. As for myself, I have not returned since November 2018. Reserved, two appointment(s) for me and my daughter, we want mother and daughter time and we wanted to chat, she lives out of the state. I was never close enough, within the vicinity of being next to her and both separated. My daughter's first comment, we get into car, to go home, she immediately, began expressing, how expensive it was! They are bit steep on their prices. I would get shellac/dip and regular pedicure. Usually, when I'd go in for shellac/dip (everything) would be meticulous, everything done, exactly like manicure, instead of using nail polish, would use shellac/dip. Apparently, I'm mistaken, I found out the hard way. You have to pay for any and every thing, sometimes person doesn't scrub, bottoms of feet, well enough. I asked, 'can you scrub them better?' After, got shellac done, I asked, 'please, cut my cuticles' and they know, I always, ask for it to be done. Oh, when I went to pay, surprised to hear, it was more than usual. Then, it was pointed out, all of the additional fees were from, when I asked to scrub my calluses, she barely took excessive skin for an extra $10; for my cuticles, another extra $10; etc., it goes on and on. Also, the pedicure price goes up! Of course, you don't know, until you are sitting, soaking your feet, provide you menu of upgrades (much more, than anticipated) personally, I ask for basic pedicure (priced, as advertised) mom (Gina, caring & helpful) her work is done, meticulously and she ensures to takes care of everything, including calluses, all without extra ($$) charges. He explained, "price for shellac, does not include a manicure" I'm not asking for manicure and everything, that it comes with, I simply, wanted to cut back my cuticles.

I came here on a Sunday and it was busy!! My only critic is how long the wait was.. I was planning to be there for about an hour but ended being there for two hours... But they had a lot of clients. The guy who seems to be the manager, apologized for the wait and gave me 10% off for my next visit, which I really appreciated it. Next time in Denver I'll be back.

She was sick at the time, then my father passed away & time got away from her. However, she was wanting to take herself,, her granddaughter and me to get pedicures this weekend, knowing that she would be spending at least $140 over the gift cards, and of course tips. We were told that they changed ownership in 11/24 & that they were only good for 1 year (false, as when they were purchased the expiration date was marked through - see pics, none were written). She refused to honor the certificates as "they didn't make any money on them." In fact, she hung up on me. Yes, I fully admit I was frustrated, but she wanted NOTHING to do with this and to talking this through. She told me I could call the old owner, lol...not sure why. I asked to speak to the manager/owner & it was her. I have grown up in customer service & am a 2nd generation retail store family and no matter what, you do not hang up on customers or fail to offer any type of compensation. She could have easily made two customers but chose not to. Very disappointing. And by the way, when we purchased the gift certificates I did so because not only was their name 5 Star Nails, but they also had 5 stars! Unfortunately, doesn't look like that has continued. I wish them well, but I really hope they can learn from this interaction/review as how to treat customers & grow their business. I never write negative reviews, as I understand dealing with the public. But this just went above & beyond.

Just moved to Longmont and it's always challenging finding someone to trust with my curly hair. I…read moredid the curl lab with Sahara, who has naturally curly hair herself, and am so glad I did. She was friendly, personable and wanted my feedback and input throughout the whole cut. I really appreciated that a few times she made suggestions on what she thought would work best with my face shape and hair type because she's the pro...not me. The studio itself was beautiful, lively, spacious and everyone was kind. I'll definitely be back.

I booked a transformation cut so we had time to discuss and go over photos. Sahara honestly came in with an attitude and at one point scoffed "there's a lot going on here" (well, yeah, transformations are a big deal). She cut the bangs as shown in the photos which was not what we discussed at all. When I expressed displeasure she went and got a different employee who refused to validate my concerns but tried to clean it up and then hurriedly ushered me out without rescheduling (guess I'm banned now). Anyways, if you want bangs, do NOT go here. They used the excuse that Sahara was not confident cutting bangs (but didn't bother contacting me in advance to reschedule my appt and were happy to let her cut these). Totally bizarre and unprofessional experience

I understand sometimes things get busy and there is a…read morelimited amount of staff but there's no point in making an appointment if you're not going to be helped at the chosen time. My technician, older male, didn't pull instruments out of sterile packaging, just out of a drawer where the instrument was free. "Sterilized" instrument by spraying rubbing alcohol on it, I could only tell as I could smell it. There is no way they could have sterilized the instrument as there was a client in the station I was sat in literal minutes before I was put there. It seemed like the only "cleaning" that was done was that a new liner was put in the water basin. My service was very rushed. Even though I got the basic package for pedicures the level of care was low. My mom got a pedicure too and her technician, Sara, spent much more care and time on the same "package" level as me. My tech rushed through nail prep and only gave a weak massage for maybe 2 minutes when the package said 5-7minutes. Sara, who my mother saw, was great. She was very attentive and skilled. She was sweet and was conversing with my mom. Sara did a great job on the pedicure and gave a solid massage. She didn't rush through and made my mom feel welcomed. Whereas my technician never said a word to me, rushed through the service and made me feel like I was a customer on an assembly line. When my nails were being dremeled to remove old gel polish the technician was quite rough. It actually hurt slightly which has NEVER happened before, no matter where I go. My nails are not sensitive and the fact this is the first time it has ever happened points to technician skill/handling. The handling of my feet in general was stiff and uncomfortable. The techs nails were long and pinched my skin when he was moving my toes. He used his finger nails to scrape polish off my skin (uncomfortable) rather than use polish remover. Overall the finished product of the pedicure was fine, but that wasn't the case for my full set. The same male technician did my manicure where I got a full set with gel polish. There was no sort of measuring used when trimming the false nails to the length I wanted. Multiple of my nails are different lengths than the ones next to them on the same hand and they are different lengths when the same fingers are compared on both hands. And it's not like it's a small amount of difference in length, several of the nails are considerably longer than their match on the other hand. The nails were supposed to be almond shaped but the shape of the nail was different for almost every single finger. There is also nail polish on the skin of my fingers which I only noticed after I had left. I was extremely frustrated by my manicure quality as the full set cost me $65 (before tip) and they weren't even done correctly. The price of my service for manicure was $65, and $50 for the pedicure with gel polish despite the fact the basic package I chose was $30 (meaning they charged $20 to use gel nail polish!!). So all together I ended up paying $115 for a really awful service and my nails look awful. The only good thing about my experience was Sara and the other female technicians. If I could have given 100% of the tip to Sara, I would have. One of the female techs was kind enough to give me two $5 off coupons for next time. But given the bad experience I had today it's unlikely I will return and use the coupons. *EDIT* just found out they charged me $65 for a full set with gel polish but the website says it's $50. None of their services are listed as $65. So they charged me $15 more for what????
