This place has been around for 3 years if I remember correctly. And I remember their food was quite decent last time when I visited with friends. But unfortunately, this time we got a bit disappointed. Platter was filled with cheap/frozen fries that I don't event want to put it in my system. Salmon udon looked so sad, and we couldn't finish it. Cocktail was not bad though. I liked their lighting and decorations. The server looks cute but doesn't seem to be knowledgeable when we had questions (and keep forgot our requests..) I support local businesses and hate to say this. But probably I may not come back anymore as now there are many other fusion bar options available in North York. *This is only personal opinion, and your experience might be different. I'm not mad or anything haha. Just being honest about what we had that day hoping this helps other Yelpers to decide where to visit or what to eat spending their precious time and money :)

Strong drinks!!

Cute little Chinese izakaya spot at Yonge and finch. They definitely don't skimp on the alcohol because the drinks are strong! Service was good. No complaints. This spot only opens at 6:00 so when we got there for 7:00. The place was cold and still warming up. And everytime the door opened it would Get cold over again so that was the uncomfortable part. The dishes had flavour nothing spectacular. The only dish I really liked was their poutine and curry udon. The rest were ok. Lots of spicy choices too

I checked out the menu beforehand and the prices seemed reasonably good, so we decided to give this place a try. It's definitely a nice spot to hang out with friends, grab drinks, and enjoy some small bites. Coming here specifically for dinner, though, might not have been the best choice. Once our food arrived, the pricing made more sense. The dishes were essentially fusion-style Asian pasta bowls. Think udon, sauce, and about 4-5 thin slices of meat. Portions lean toward tapas-sized, and I found myself worried I wouldn't be full. I ordered the Creamy Curry Udon with Pork. The sauce was delicious and paired well the udon and lastly topped with a spoon full of mashed potatoes and grape tomatoes as a garnish, which was surprisingly enjoyable. Still, I couldn't help feeling a bit shortchanged with only five small slices of bacon. My husband ordered the Spicy Beef Udon. The flavor was great, but he was disappointed by the tiny amount of shredded beef and the complete lack of vegetables. Overall, the food tastes good, but the portions and protein-to-noodle ratio make it feel more like a bar snack than a proper dinner. I'd come back for drinks and light bites, but probably not for a dinner.

Very aesthetic vibes and the cocktails are good. I'm not particularly fan of the food (it wasn't bad but wasn't excellent) and service can be better.

Had a great night out at this spot, the food consisted of Asian fusion bar bites, loved the creativity in the cocktails! They were also really pretty. Such a great spot uptown for a night owl with some fun drinks and good vibes.

OnOff - After-Dark Modern Asian Bar Neon lights, low-lit energy, and way better food than a bar should have. This is my go-to late-night spot for chill hangs, spontaneous dates, or when one drink turns into a whole night. Tiramisu cocktail : dessert in a glass. Creamy, smooth, lightly boozy, and dangerously easy to finish. Perfect nightcap energy. Cold drunken chicken stole the show: clean, authentic, perfectly seasoned, and the kind of dish you think about later. Chinese-style poutine with mapo tofu goes hard: bold, comforting, and full of flavour. Salmon fried udon w/ uni sauce:rich, silky, creamy without being heavy. Chef's secret pork taco: playful, modern fusion that just works.

First time trying this place and personally I did not enjoy the food as much. My favourite dish was the Chinese style poutine but the rest of the food I tried was okay. The service was good, with very friendly staff. The restaurant itself looks very nice with lots of neon signs and dark lighting that created a cool atmosphere while dining.

This was a fun looking bar with bright neon decor. It's not a big space but it has a few tables and small bar top. Didn't order any of their drinks but saw some from other tables that looked pretty good. We tried the salmon fried udon which was okay but something about the combination of the smoked salmon flavours with the cream sauce was a little off. The Taiwanese popcorn chicken was decent and crispy but nothing special. The corn cheese pizza which was Korean cheese corn on a scallion pancake was pretty good. I preferred the corn without the pancake however. The Chinese style poutine was the best dish. It had good flavour and the fries and meet were seasoned well. Overall, I wasn't as impressed by the food as I thought I'd be, however the dishes are different and bring a fun twist on Asian dishes so if you wanna try something different I would give this place a try.

Loved the vibes at this spot, their drinks are quite strong and I loved the Chinese style poutine!

Friday night, girls' night. Glad we found here! We went in around 6:30 - we were taken to bar counter seats, as their tables are all booked. Initially, I wanted table seat but soon after, I felt lucky to be seated at the bar counter. It was such an opportunity, especially at ON/OFF! From the bar counter, I can see how the bartender is creating cocktails. He was mixing sprits with precision and detail for each drink, constantly checking aroma and taste. The bartender was also interested in my preference. He was eager to know customer's needs (type of spirit, boozier, sweeter, more citrus, amount of ice etc), and created something that was specially perfect for me. He even showed what he put by pulling out the bottles in front of me behind the counter, and gauged it carefully and put it in my drink. It made me want to learn more about those spirits. He was happy to discuss his craft and share his knowledge. Very stimulating. I enjoyed this interaction only when before this place got busier. Gosh this place was packed - we exited around 9:30 and there were people lining up outside. I was lucky. I felt that this already skilled/experienced bartender was eager to develop creative recipes through the interactions of customers - humble attitude, politeness and creativity - that wes thhe thing I appreciated most. The food was great, too. We had: - Pan fried beef tongue - Deep fried squid I did not expect much when I ordered the food (as my focus was on cocktails) but they were surprisingly good. Squid was tender and juicy. Beef tongue was tender and thick-cut. Will definitely come back again. Hopefully soooooon!

Came here to try their "Day Menu" from 11am to 6pm. All the main dishes are around $14. We had the Fried chicken omurice and gyudon (beef rice). The Gyudon was kind of disappointing. The beef was very tough and the flavour wasn't anything special. The fried chicken was very crispy, juicy and tastey! The omurice was pretty much just a scrambled egg on fried rice which was pretty comforting. We also had a grapefruit cocktail and mojito. We liked that they weren't loaded with sugar and were quite refreshing. Unfortunately there were A LOT of flies and fruit flies flying around the restaurant from the night prior's sugary beverages. I think this place would do well with a bug zapper or may be deeper cleaning.

Amazing cocktail bar! Been here a few times for drinks, it's a great spot for cocktails and food! The bar has a dimly lit, neon nightlife vibe. The tables all have mahjong tile lights that illuminate the table softly, but very sufficiently. The vibes are very much that of the big 4 popular Asian bars/clubs downtown, but provide more of an intimate setting to chat with friends or a date. For the ladies: Tuesdays are ladies' night! All cocktails are 50% off, and now appetizers are 50% off as well! The cocktails here are all amazing! They have many classic cocktails, but also a wide menu of their own creations. Every single one of them are delicious but also SOOO pretty--which makes them dangerous. Fair warning that most (if not all) of their house cocktails are sweet--stick to their classics if you are looking for low-sugar options. I was also really impressed by the food here, considering this place is more known as a cocktail bar. The service is a bit slow for food, but if you aren't hungry then it's totally fine. Their snacks are quite unique and are all very tasty--also so many shareables! I always have a fantastic time here and haven't tried a drink or food I didn't enjoy. Definitely stop by for the evidently crowded summer evenings!

Both are non-negotiable and always hit. We still like to switch it up sometimes, and this visit we tried a few different dishes: * Kataifi-Wrapped prawn tempura: crunchy, and the wasabi mayo was my favorite part. * Nagasaki Champon with ramen: cozy and comforting. * Grilled Squid with butter: simple and done right * Beef Brisket Yaki Soba: savory and satisfying, with bonito flakes doing their little dance on top. * Karaage: coming from someone who doesn't love greasy food, this one was not greasy at all and still juicy inside. Lowkey missing their grilled beef intestine though Great highball selection as well. We got the peach highball for the one who likes sweet, and the yuzu highball for the one who likes sour. I went with the Snow beer Sapporo, topped with shaved frozen beer. Such a nice way to keep the beer cold without diluting it. Service here has always been amazing, whether they're busy or not, and that's a big reason why I keep coming back.

Out of the dishes we ordered, my favourite would be: grill pork belly, taro chips, yaki soba, and the fried shrimp prawn. If you want some chewy squid, then you could order the squid. The sauce tasted good but I could imagine cooking it to its perfection is hard, especially when the izakaya was actually pretty full due to the beer happy hour! The other issue would be finding a parking space. Otherwise, I would love to come back again.

Initially we were going for the idea of breakfast, but timing was a bit off from what we anticipated and it was a really nice lunch date instead. I love the Markham Marriott, the staff is always warm and welcoming. Draco has a very sleek, sophisticated and cozy atmosphere. We both ordered Bacon & Cheddar burgers. I opted for a Caesar salad as an appetizer and hubby ordered their Grilled Wagyu Flat Iron Steak. Let's start with the apps. The Caesar salad was SO good! I wish I had taken a pic, but admittedly, my phone was tucked away and I was caught up in the cozy seating, great food and Christmas vibes of the restaurant and lobby. Grilled Wagyu Flat Iron Steak: $33 - Buttercup Squash Puree and Truffle Oil - Everything you want Wagyu to be - tender, cooked to the perfect temp which left a nice warm red centre. This was melt in your mouth good! The burgers - these were perfection! Draco Bacon Cheddar Burger: $25 - Aged Cheddar with Crispy Bacon Strips; Crispy Onion Straws, Arugula and Garlic Aioli. This was a very well seasoned patty, so juicy and a substantial sized patty of fresh not frozen beef. The bun was lightly toasted, bacon crispy, easily taking this into my top 3 fav spots for burgers! Options for sides include fries, sweet potato fries, poutine, side Caesar or garden salad or truffle fries. We finished off our meal with 2 really good cappuccinos and just took our time before heading home. This was our first time back here in a few years. The food was exceptional as was the service and the warm staff. Draco is the perfect spot for an early morning breakfast, work or lunch date or a nice cozy dinner. Lots of seating is available, including comfortable 4-6 person booths. The only downside is that parking right on Yonge is very limited. The menu has expanded beyond katsu to include pizzas, wings, udon, and tteokbokki. The katsu was excellent with its light, crisp batter, and the special set came with a great variety of sides plus both rice and a small bowl of udon. The pizza and wings were also fantastic--we ordered the half-and-half pizza with the signature shrimbul (highly recommend if you like a little heat) and Korean bulgogi. The wings were flavorful and delicious as well. Service was decent, though we docked half a star because some drinks on the menu weren't available (only 2 out of the 5 beers listed). That said, we still had a great experience overall and will definitely be back!
