Mark and his teams were great. They started our pool project a little bit ahead of schedule and finished within 6 weeks, well ahead of schedule! The project included a fiberglass pool, water wall, travertine patio, kitchen, steps, putting green, landscaping and fence. Mark was very communicative during the process and took care of every ask my wife and I had including moving the steps after they had already bult those per the drawing. Disappointed and Frustrated Our pool project with Omni is finally complete and has passed inspection, but the overall experience has been frustrating and disappointing. Yesterday was my first day in the pool--something that should have been exciting and rewarding--but instead, I felt disheartened by the quality of the finished product. I've attached photos that clearly show several serious workmanship issues: * Blotchy discoloration in the concrete pool deck * Rebar protruding through the concrete coping * Coping that is already crumbling * Polymeric sand, used as a quick fix around uneven skimmer covers, now washing away These problems go beyond aesthetics--they reflect poor workmanship and a lack of attention to detail. What's most discouraging is how Omni continues to present themselves as a premier pool and outdoor living contractor. Their social media is filled with polished photos and glowing project highlights. Sadly, my experience tells a very different story. At this point, my only recourse is to go through Omni's warranty process, which I hope will lead to some accountability and resolution. I continue to hope that Jason Craycraft or his wife Amy Craycraft will step up, acknowledge how poorly this project was managed, and demonstrate that this isn't truly representative of their company. Terrible experience. The company never met a single deadline--not even close. We were given countless promises by the various project managers and JC, but few were fulfilled, and none met the deadlines. They breached the contract. It became clear that contractors and project managers were at odds with each other and with management. We heard about it far too often. We rarely, if ever, saw a foreman on-site, and none was ever officially designated to our knowledge. There were stretches of time when they disappeared for weeks without any communication. The work quality was poor--"fair" at best--and nowhere near what we were told to expect, and certainly not for what we paid. We agree with all the negative reviews here on Yelp and the complaints listed on the Franklin County court website--the stories are all too familiar. There are better pool companies out there. Poor communication, lots of turnover, we had one great PM who is no longer there (was our third). Did not feel valued throughout entire project (4 months later than we expected). Projected costs significantly increase the day they started. Ask you to use their app to communicate, but the only time there were timely responses was via text with the PM. We scheduled a 3:45pm appointment with a consultant to determine what pool solution would fit us. When we arrived, there was a sign on the lower level door stating to go upstairs to the office to get in. We walked upstairs and they directed us to go back downstairs. After getting into the "design studio", we met our consultant Courtney. Courtney seated us and proceeded to barrel through some sort of a half hearted sales pitch. She proceeds to read off the nickel and dime price list (an old Excel sheet) without asking us any qualifying questions. My wife could barely keep up with writing down the haphazard price quotes. We were able to at least direct her towards what pool we felt would work for us. After adding up the $'s (while Courtney was packing up), the price was well beyond any of the other contractors for a lesser quality vinyl versus the fiberglass models we've seen. To end, a speed run through the design studio was followed up with a quick question; Do we want to schedule a home visit? All in all, this "consultation" took 30 minutes. My round trip to their office was twice that amount of time. I don't think she could have pushed us out of the door any faster. At this point, they could offer me a pool for free and I wouldn't take it. If this is the front face of the business, I don't even want to meet the backend people. read more

I am writing to file a complaint against Omni Pools and Scapes. Omni has repeatedly delayed our project, failed to communicate with us, and been a general frustration and disappointment. - Feb 2022: Our initial contact with Omni begins. We were happy with the design employee, Janet Sussman (this employee, notably, no longer works for Omni). - January 20, 2023: Signed contract for a start date of 'August or September 2023.' We paid a 20% deposit for our project which consists of a fiberglass pool, hardscape, and fence. - August 17, 2023: With no prior phone call, Omni sends us a 11.5% project cost price increase notice via email (around $20,000). It states that it takes effect for projects after October 1st, which should have been after our contractual start date. We contacted our attorney, who reviewed the contract and stated that most of those charges were items we were not contractually responsible for. We pushed back and came to an agreement to pay an additional $5,000, which covered 50% of the materials cost increases according to Omni. Omni was asked, but did not provide supporting data for the supposed increases in materials. - August 2023: We know our project is delayed but no specific information is given. - October 2023: We pay the additional $5,000 per August and September discussions. - November 2023: we are told our start date will be December. - December 2023: Omni set the pool (about 2 days of work). We made another 2 payments for 'start date' and 'pool set'. At this point we have paid 65% of our project which is not even remotely done. - January 2024: Omni works 1/2 day this month. We are assigned a second project manager. They pressure us to have our spa delivered 'immediately', which we achieve. (It is still sitting in our driveway, blocking our garage door in June.) - February & March 2024: nobody from Omni works for a single day at our house. Our pool is no longer level, which has been noted with Omni, yet nobody cares or plans to re-level. - April 2024: We are assigned a third project manager. We meet with this PM and the 'client liaison,' and are assured we will be swimming my Memorial Day weekend. We get our first ever schedule from Omni to get this done. - May 2024: Omni sub-contractor (one man who shows up at 10:30am and leaves at 3:30pm) works fairly regularly for two weeks. Then nobody comes as usual. We are billed and pay an additional 20%, so we have now paid 85% of our project cost, which is not reflected in the work completed. - June 2024: nobody has shown up regularly this month. Electricians did work one day. Our pool is still not level. We have unfinished coping. - June 15: 2024: concrete forms scheduled to begin yet nobody shows up. We have called the 17th and 18th and our PM does not return our calls, emails or text messages . We are incredibly frustrated. We began this project with Omni in 2022, knowing our new build house would be completed in first quarter 2024. We allowed TWO YEARS, ample time for Omni to schedule our project. We have been living in our beautiful new home since March of 2024. Due to Omni's repeated delays and bogus schedules, we have no yard, only partial landscaping and no driveway, in addition to a brand new spa that has been blocking our garage since January of 2024. Yes, it rained a lot this spring, we are well aware of that. However even with the rain, Omni has had more than enough time to complete our project. We were understanding and patient with ALL the delays. We are patient no more. We are angry. They do not care about their customers at all. We have paid so much money and have received the worst service we've ever experienced. The owner doesn't care and despite numerous complaints on our end (via Buildertrend), not once has someone from upper management or ownership reached out. This is a truly awful company to work with and we recommend staying clear. read more

Last spring Omni installed a beautiful in ground pool with retaining wall, fence, auto cover, and heat pump. Within 48 hours it was in the ground and filled. That was the only part of the process that went smoothly. Once it was filled, the water was left untreated to become a 35x18 foot mosquito breeding area. They did eventually treat the water and start up the pump and filter. Then we waited for months( the pool went into the ground in the 1st week in march and concrete didn't get poured until August. I want to be clear that the workmanship and quality of the work on the pool itself is fine, the problem I have is with support. The deal was that Omni would open and close the pool one time and train me on how. They did close it last year( didn't teach me a thing about how to do it. When I called to set a date/time to open I received a response that said they opened it last year, therefore they had no obligation to do so this year, but for the paltry fee of 450$ they'd be happy to do it again. The pool is great, but they half assed the installation of the fence. One gate is barely functional due to the slope of the yard( my son and I will take care of that in the coming weeks). They failed to reseed the areas where they installed the fence( did they hate myself). Omni went through 3 foremen to get my job done and more than one of their subcontractors told me that they wouldn't do any more work for Omni. For the money this project cost and I paid, it is reasonable to expect better service and support. read more
