A broken wrist stopped me from planting in Spring and early Summer, but I sallied forth today with a list of nearby nurseries. Seely's was first on my list, and I didn't need to go farther. They have an impressive selection of trees, shrubs, flowers, and leafy perennials. Their Hosta selection is the largest I've ever seen. At a guess I'd say they have at least 100 different varieties. It's incredible! The Seely's employees are friendly, knowledgeable, and service-oriented. Julie hauled my cart all through the many plants, giving me advice on what plants would work with my East and West-facing planting areas. When I found one of my favorite plants looking a bit scraggly late in the season, she pruned the leggy parts off and left the beautifully formed inner stems and leaves for me. She was patient as I back-tracked to revisit plants I was interested in. Then she helped me load all my plants and a couple bags of Sweet Peat mulch/soil enhancer into the back of my Outback. I will definitely return to Seely's as I fill out my garden areas in the coming years. And I'll definitely watch for Julie when I do. This nursery doesn't look like much from the road, but it is truly a hidden gem! Check it out the next time you have landscaping and gardening needs!

You should be aware that Hidden Creek does not have its own nursery but buys materials from other vendors, at least as to the work they performed for us.

However, after weeks of delays and "claim reviews," their attorney and insurance company ultimately denied the claim entirely based on the liability paperwork signed before the move. It is incredibly frustrating to deal with a company that responds one way in the moment, only to later refuse accountability for damage caused during the move. Accidents can happen. What matters is how a company handles them afterward. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling unsupported, misled, and stuck dealing with the consequences in my new home.
