They honored a minor repair under warranty with no issues and chased down another problem that turned out to be the electrical contractors fault. Would buy my spa again from Tim. Delivery did not go the smoothest as my one point of criticism. I talked directly to Tim about it so my complaint wasn't blown off or anything like that. Pro tip: know in advance what direction you want your spa cover lift to go and which direction you want your service panel to go. Go through the manual's installation manual to make sure all steps have been done including closing a drain port in the motor. You're gonna have a bad time if someone decides for you or forgot a step.

Since 2021, we have worked with them for regular maintenance, service calls, questions about balancing chemicals, purchasing supplies and more. They are knowledgeable, kind, patient and accommodating. They offer a free service for you to bring in a sample of your hot tub water and they analyze it in the store and tell you exactly what chemicals to add. That was immensely helpful when I was getting the hang of the new hot tub. I highly recommend this business. They stand by their product and provide support to the customer for years.

After several years of use, I inquired about having the tub drained as I was then not using. I was discouraged from doing that and was told that it didn't cost that much in electricity to keep it running, so I followed that advice. I just had the hot tub hauled away as both the controller pad and manual jet controller broke and the cost to replace/fix was too expensive. I received my electric bill after the hot tub removal and my electricity usage dropped substantially. The cost of the chemicals to maintain, replacement of the hot tub cover, electricity to run and eventual removal of the hot tub were all expenses that could have been avoided had the tub been drained and left for future use. Sharing this experience to save others from falling into this pitfall.

Plaster work looked to be done by children. Plaster started peeling with in 2 weeks. Installed pool cover incorrectly which burned up the moter. HORRIBLE tile work. The steps were woobly and crooked. Then wanted their next draw and would not fix the items that were supposed to be done to recieve that draw. I wanted them to finish the work then receive payment. He dismissed the job entirely. Said good luck trying to find someone to fix everything for less than what he was owed. He obviously knows NOTHING about how to build pools. He is a used car salesman that hires garbage subcontractors. NEVER checked on the job during the process. I told him the drains were not installed properly multiple times. and When I asked him why they didn't fix the drain before concrete was poured. HE said why didn't you check it before concrete was poured. YOU WILL BE TAKEN BY THIS GUY.

We ended up using Ohio Spa repaid and it was fixed right away. We had a service tech, text me, complaining about me and when I responded, he said it was meant to go to the owner. The owner did not seem to care at all about our frustration. We were not aware of being charged more each time, until we got our credit card (just kind of assumed they would come out and fix their mistake). I will continue to share this story with anyone who will listen, as it was very stressful (the person who referred Rainbow Hot Tubs is no longer using them either after this experience).
