Because we knew our pump needed replacement I got an estimate from the old company for over $2000. A friend recommended Pools and Spas so we got a second estimate for the exact same pump= $1500. Pools and Spas was a couple of weeks out for installation but because our old pump was leaking, they managed to fit us in after hours and we couldnt be happier. Staff was friendly and helped educate us and their prices are certainly more competitive than our old company.

Dan was super helpful to steer us to what would best fit our yard (we have a slope) and to make it work with power lines, etc. Other companies were quick to say "no" and saw our yard as a liability and too difficult to work with or too small a project. Crew were more than hard working - and eager to get the pool done for my family to enjoy during the final days of summer. They clearly know what they're doing, but also are helpful and kind to instruct me on new pool maintenance and how to work all the equipment. Highly recommend them! Pool and decking looks great!

How do…read moreyou have staff answering the phones when they know zero about the pool, motor, filter system, financing, cost, they know nothing which would be ok if the owner or someone that has the answers is at the store or available to take a call to answer questions. It took us 2 weeks to get answers before we ordered the pool. Now no one can tell us where the shipment is or give us the number to reach out to in order to get our answers. They won't issue a refund because its a special order! Excuse me it is a standard pool that you order all the time Im not sure how that is a special order. Now we are out $16,000.00 and still have no pool. Don''t go here it is not worth the stress.

I did and received no response. I called a week later and I was told that they probably couldn't deliver since there were only two guys that could move the tub. I was told to provide my information (again) and someone hopefully would get back to me. That did not happen. How these people are still in business is beyond me, especially considering I called a competitor and they responded immediately and guaranteed delivery in ten days or less. AVOID THIS BUSINESS.

Columbus Pool Works responded with a very accurate estimate to restore the pool. In only three visits they balanced the chemicals in the pool and installed a new port on my Hayward filter. Shane C. and his assistant were punctual (informing me of their approach to the property), knowledgeable, attentive, and efficient. My pool opened June 23 and I couldn't be more pleased. I HIGHLY recommend this company.
