I dont like leaving small businesses bad reviews because I know the damage it can bring. Unfortunately, the business owner here is very unethical. I was a first time customer with a small three shirt press order. The shirts were new so there were no stains or fabric repairs that I didn't know about. I was told that they take payment upfront. Not a big deal. I paid and left. When my husband came to pick up his shirts, he was charged a second time and because he is a generous and appreciative person he left an additional $10 tip. So because a different person picked up the order, they thought they would take advantage and charge again. This is completely unacceptable and I will never return here. anyone else should think twice before going here as well. read more

They need to develop a better way of keeping track of one's clothes. Over the past 4 years they have lost a pair of suit pants, a suit jacket and my son's suit. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me. I took my business elsewhere, and I was a customer for over a decade here. When they lost my suit pants they simply told me that I had already picked them up. Huh??? My husband and I have been taking our dry cleaning here for like 3 years now with merely no complaints. It's usually my husband's work clothes we're dropping off more often than not, but I've had some tops and dresses that are dry clean only (ugh) and some stains I needed to get out along the way too. Omni cleaners is literally a minute from our house which is super convenient. Their hours are great and the turnaround times work out nicely too. Since my husband frequents here often, the owner is pretty good about getting him back anything he may need quicker than usual. Can't tell you how many times my husband will drop something off last minute that he needs for a business trip. The best part is that their prices are reasonable. Dry cleaning can definitely add up, so we're glad it doesn't break the bank to come here. I've had no complaints, but my husband's only bug-a-boo is that sometimes they seem to take the collar stays out of his shirts but then don't put them back in. This last time half his shirts came back with them and half didn't. Not sure what their process is, but it remains a mystery. Regardless, they'll continue to get our business! read more

I'd give this place zero stars if I could for these reasons: 1) alterations were never on time as promised, I had to actually request my clothes back, take them to another dry cleaner, and they were able to finish the job in a day 2) after the alteration mishap I didn't go back for six months--took clothes in for the first time two weeks ago, and a white cleaning agent was all over my black pants ---and the woman behind the counter "don't know how that happened." 3) I took in a $250.00 coat I purchased on Friday in Saturday morning, picked it up Monday, and the entire belt of the coat was frayed and destroyed by their machines. Of course the woman behind the counter "don't understand what happen. It's a manufacturing problem." It is never Omni's problem. She offered to make me a belt (hey, I don't want your homemade belt, and how long would that take!??). She signed papers that the next day she would talk to the company and get me a new coat, or pay me for the coat. She told me to come back the next day to see her "lawyer," which is her son. He said "hey, we're not responsible, give me at least a week to call the manufacturer, and were are not replacing your coat. We have no RESPONSIBILITY RULES on the wall for lost or damaged items because were not responsible." Well, I called the Banana Republic store right in his shop, and they said bring it in, it's not a problem, we will give you a new coat. What was going to take the genius owner a week to do took me three minutes. 4) if you want to know what your cleaner is responsible for on their end, don't go here. They have no postings, and in my experience, are never responsible for anything. 5) and as one other person commented, as I was standing there looking at the place, it is FILTHY. The floors are filthy, there are piles of clothes everywhere at tailoring, everything is dusty. Yuck!!! Tried them three times. Every single time there was an issue. If you care about your clothes, and you spend good, hard earned money on your clothes, take them to another cleaners. ANY OTHER CLEANERS!!!! read more

Unbelievably rude service! I went in to ask if they could do an alteration for a broken zipper and when I asked the Chinese woman some questions about what she would be able to do she just started getting mad at me and then refused to do it. She was just looking to do an easy job and take a lot of money out of me. She was basically lying and making up a bunch of stories for what she would do. She wouldn't listen or even look at the piece I wanted repaired. Ridiculous! read more

I brought a pair of designer jeans in to be altered. All I needed was for the waist to be taken in a little bit. When I got home, I found that they took the fabric from the very back of the jeans. Who would do that? I have had many pairs of jeans altered at the waist and every time they were taken in from each side- NEVER the back. Not only was it done incorrectly, it was done very poorly. One pocket was closer to the middle than the other. I put them on and my husband just about died laughing because my butt looked so crooked!!! I had to just throw them away. I was so angry that I didn't even go back to tell them. They were destroyed past repair anyway with a whole section of the jeans completely cut out of the back. I had the worst experience with the woman at the front desk. I ended up walking out terribly frustrated. She is a miserable person who takes out her frustrations on customers. After my unpleasant encounter with her, I found out from others that she is always like this. It's incredible that she is still in business. I'll never go there again! Skip it! This place is conveniently located, so I decided to give it a shot. I was so very disappointed. Here's what I didn't like and why I'll stick with CD One Price. (1) Their selling point is 50% off pricing, however, with higher regular pricing than their competitors, that really isn't a good value proposition. (2) My clothes weren't ready during the promised pick-up time AND when I came back 30 min later, I was informed that they miscounted my items and needed to charge me more money. Really? (3) My clothes didn't smell clean. They smelled like I just came in from being outdoors all day. (4) And here's the tipping point and why I bothered to write this review. They wrote our last name on my husband's dress shirts. There are other ways to track clothes (e.g. tagging systems). That's just lazy. read more

I've been looking for a tailor/alteration cleaners to handle small tailoring jobs, such as, pants waist and length, jacket sleeves,etc. The price of this cleaners is good and the finish product really turn out nice. They've done good work with my minor alterations as well as taking in the waist of my sons blue jeans that were too big. Unfortunately I had to take away 1 star because the jobs are never finished as promised. They are usually a day or so late. Otherwise we like this place and will continue to go here for alterations. read more

This one business is a great community resource of hard work, good service and epitomizes the selfless application of doing the right thing. It is so surprising to read all of these negative & whining reviews. Sorry things happen but that is life. Get a perspective. I have been dropping off my cleaning for 10 years now and only just had a shirt lost this June. Not my problem really. They have a system and normally it works but with the volume they handle it is yet an acceptable percentage. They give and put so much of themselves that niggling things cannot diminish the stars I award. I have been to many much-touted cleaners in my time and none can hold a candle to OMNI cleaners. They even go so far as to remember my name and ask after my family. This is not just superior service, this is neighborhood friends, too. My clothes always are ready, on time (99%), cleaned, pressed and appearing great! So, there may be a small day wait for a redo on a food spot that I forgot to mention (sometimes when I think I had done). They are not mind readers and they are human. They literally have a thankless job where their average shrill customer vents their spleen over nothing. During the 10 plus years I have wanted too many times to tell these less than pleasant folks to put a sock in it before someone else handles that duty for them. However tempted I have always just managed to maintain and keep my mouth shut. This is just one of the many community businesses that make me proud to share the earth and walk life's road with nice, honest people like this family. Well before you know it I will be talking about Zou-zou's petals, so I believe they put in more than most people know and we should reflect a moment before jumping conclusions and think about the standards they are being held accountable for. I mean if George hadn't stuck with Uncle Billy things would never have worked out. I recognize that is an imaginary world but it certainly struck a familiar chord with a few people over the years, too. read more

They have lost items 3 times....the first time they found them 4 years later. The last 2 times they have not found them and so I will not go there again. One of them was lost that I was having altered.....that was 3 years ago....still not found. They are not willing to admit that it is their fault and there is no compensation for lost items. read more

I dropped off three pair of jeans to be altered. Two pair were converted to skinny jeans. One pair was altered because they buckled in the waist. I was very happy with the service and the quality of the alterations. I highly recommend this cleaners. read more

Great place until you have a problem. We have been using Omni as our cleaners for 6 years with no problems or complaints. Then I dropped off a sportcoat to be cleaned, like we have many times, and it was not ready on time. Strange but no big deal. When the coat was ready, there was what looked like grease or oil spots all over the front of the coat. I am a manager and trainer with a men's clothing company, I would know if there was something on the coat like that. To top it off they inspect all the clothes when they are dropped off, and they said nothing about it then. I wasn't offered an explanation or compensation or refund. All I got was "Oh no. It's you, you do. We no see but you do this." When I asked for some kind of compensation she literally laughed at me in front of other customers. "Oh no we no do." As someone who has been in customer service for over 20 years I was shocked to say the least. read more
